As we were heading home, we wanted to grab a quick breakfast before going to the airport and came across Kenny's on Yelp. It's a total hole-in-the-wall spot but conveniently close to the airport. When we walked in, there were three guys waiting for their meals and one person ahead of us. A moment later, someone popped up from the back--and we assumed it was Kenny! His vibrant personality and energetic presence made it pretty clear. He was the only one working in the back, exuding positivity and enthusiasm. He greeted us warmly, handed the guys their meals, and after they paid, he even took a selfie with them. He then took our order and was still super charismatic and had so much energy. He was excited for our order and then went to the back to make it. Looks like a one man operation. The burrito was good. Wish there was more eggs and less potatoes in it but I know there's an egg crisis going on right now. I do love that Kenny took our picture, though I wish he was in it and posted it to his Instagram. He did ask our permission first and I was all down for it! And wow, the excitement he had when we tipped. He treats all customers equally special. If you're ever at the San Jose airport or nearby, visit Kenny's Cafe!

A sweet and loving small business owned by Kenny himself! The moment you walk in, you can feel the love and warmth from all over the walls with pictures of him with his customers. It felt refreshing and like I travelled back in time with his cool decorations! We ordered the Steak Bulgogi Burrito and the Philly Cheesesteak and they were both delicious. The burrito was a bit sweet and had a good ratio of potatoes, steak and cheese. The Philly Cheesesteak will be the cheesiest cheesesteak you ever had, and it came with fries! Each meal comes with hot sauce, it tastes like if gochujang and Tabasco had a baby together.Kenny uses high-quality ingredients and you can taste the love he puts into his food! He loves talking to his customers and overall had the most amazing vibes. He asks your permission to take your photo and always have a happy smile :-)

Kenny's is a hole in the wall joint and Kenny is extremely friendly (maybe to a fault). Although we enjoyed his energy, I could see it being off putting at times since the more he interacts with customers, the longer it takes to get your food.We tried breakfast burritos and they were good, but I probably wouldn't go back for one.I was interested in some of the sandwich options since they are served on Dutch Crunch.

Kenny's. The place is a gem and the man himself is a diamond! Great breakfast burritos. Big. Hearty. Fairly priced. Fresh and his hot sauce concoction is so good! Take a second to talk to Kenny. Hear him out. Read his story. The sum of all the parts is what makes this place special. One piece of advice. You're going to spend a bit of time waiting for food. It's not fast food and he's a one man show so it takes time to prepare your order. Best breakfast burrito in SJ and as you peruse the pictures posted all about, you realize it isn't a celebrity thing, it's about appreciation. This man appreciates your business and your time and he shows it with the love he puts in the food.

Some of the best breakfast burritos under the sun!Kenny's is the embodiment of a hole-in-the-wall spot. It's a small place with an unassuming exterior. The inside is super well-loved with photos of customers littering every single surface of the walls- even the ceiling! The man behind the counter was such a joy to interact with. Kenny is extremely friendly, welcoming, and is spreading all the happy vibes. We ordered a hefty number of 5 burritos and he kept reminding us throughout our visit how happy he was making each and every one. There's so much love in this place! Onto the actual burritos, we got the Steak Breakfast Burritos (#2) and the De la Cruz Burritos (#3). So much goodness packed into these tortillas and the portion sizes were huge! My favorite part was actually the sauce that he includes. It's a hot sauce vaguely resembling Tapatío including jalapeños and a ton of green onions. I'm fully convinced that there are also some Asian flavors in there, since it reminded me a bit of kimchi. I don't know exactly what goes in there, but it was insane! The absolute best pairing. Please stop by if you're ever in the area and are looking for some scrumptious breakfast eats! You'll be supporting an amazing small business and the most cheerful person behind in. Note: Kenny loves taking pictures with his customers! He grabbed a shot with us and immediately uploaded it on Instagram- he noted that he does this with most customers. Just something worth noting if that's not particularly your jam.

Kenny's is that gem of a hole in the wall that is literally a one man show for guilty-pleasure comfy breakfast & lunch offerings. It's an unusual operation, having just Kenny Kim running the whole show, but I'm honestly all about it.. He's one of the most genuine and enthusiastic souls I've had the pleasure of meeting. Think greasy chonky breakfast burritoes with aromatic greasiness and you get the gist. Absolutely perfect for that lazy day. :DThe menu seems to change every now and then, but the gist of it hasn't really changed in that there's numbered offerings covering breakfast burritoes, some pancake/waffles, a philly cheesesteak and burgers. Steak options can be ordered bulgogi style upon request. Having checked it out for a return takeout visit, it varies from "not too busy" to "40 min wait" depending on how many orders are queued up, so I emphasize having patience and coming along when you don't have a rigid schedule. There's a smattering of seating inside with decor that is simultaneously cute and patriotic. Breakfast Burrito Steak - 5/5Flipping homerun. It sloops from how heavy the sucker is packed and I love it all the more for it. Great crisping on potatoes if you eat it on-site before it softens, creamy as heck with all that cheese, fantastic smokey jalapeno salsa (unfortunately moderately spicy for the less inclined), and just a touch of pancake batter. Just a little bit of a sweet aroma really helps cap off the medley of flavors. Ain't no holding back on the grease, but it works beautifully. I know not where this inspiration comes from, but Kenny is a humble yet mad genius.Philly Cheesesteak - 5/5Cheesisest cheesesteak I ever did have, not to mention adding a bit of crunchy texture and toasted aroma with the dutch crunch is a nice combination I didn't know I even wanted. The onion rings were perhaps a bit too solidly fried to the point of overly crunchy, but still well done on the onion. That said generally hits all the notes quite well without hitting dry notes.

We came on a Monday around 11am. One person was already waiting for their food, and Kenny was cooking in the back. Once Kenny brought the food out he saw us and took our order. It took about 10min for our two burritos, which is pretty quick since he's the only one working! Plus, you can keep yourself entertained looking at his wall to ceiling photos of all his customers. We got #1 and #2. The burritos had a nice char and were very hearty! We could only eat half of the burrito and saved the rest for later. The salsa was chunky and slightly spicy, it was very good too.As many others have mentioned, the owner is very friendly and seemed genuinely happy every time a customer came in. He took a photo of every customer too, and told us he had something like 25,000 photos!Overall, I would come back for these breakfast burritos again! I would say don't come with a huge group, since it really is only this one man working, and there's isn't too much parking around.

I'm so glad to have stumbled upon this hole in the wall! The whole atmosphere is unforgettable with all the photos on the walls and the food is soo yummy! I've tried the bulgogi breakfast burrito and it had a good ratio of potato's to meat 5/5. It definitely fills you up and is packed with flavor. The hot sauce is unique and tastes like chamoy almost, but has a good kick to it. The dela cruz burrito is soo yummy too 5/5, it's filled with meat that's so flavorful. I really enjoyed this one and it had some great spices. We've also had the Dutch crunch Philly cheesesteak and it was soo delicious 5/5. The cheese melt and pull is amazing! Topped with their hot sauce is chefs kiss. Everything here is made with love and it's so nice to meet the owner Kenny! I will definitely be back and would recommend this mom and pop shop to everyone :)
