Just Breakfast

The food was yummy and the service was amazing. I recommend going here. I ordered the French toast with the sausage and eggs. The ambiance gives off a country kind of vibe, I feel like I'm in a diner.

Food is good. Service was good but they are very unfair to their employees. There's one employee that gets away with stealing tips of other servers. She cusses and harasses other servers. When the owner was told and even saw this persons behavior the server who was innocent got her hours cut so that she wouldn't have to be in the floor with the server that harassed her. I will not be going back to this restaurant I feel that employees should be treated fair. If it were me, i would report to fair labor board.

Good breakfast this morning. Food was good. I had the large (3 slices) order of French toast, a side of bacon, and a side of hash brown potatoes. Waitress was friendly. Ambiance is fairly standard for a small, independent restaurant.

I love this spot, my family and I come here all the time. The food is great, the restaurant is clean and welcoming. I love that they always have oldies playing in the background. My favorite is the steak skillet with over medium eggs and it's always perfect.

We came here on our way to Monterey and it was a perfect pit stop. There is outdoor seating here under a tent as well as indoor. The decor is eclectic. The curtains are themed appropriately and gives a cool vibe to the place. We ordered a petite breakfast and California Benedict as well as coffee. It was tasty. The servers greeted us with a warm smile. Will be back.

I was in the mood for some good fresh made biscuits and gravy. My co-workers and some associates told me to try out this place. A corner spot on Monterey Highway in San Jose and kind of hard on the parking but I managed to find a spot. Inside was small and a little busy the waitresses were great, professional and bilingual Spanish/English. The Coffee was excellent fresh and hot. The food was also pretty good. The gravy was restaurant made but the biscuits were FLAT. Not restaurant made and missed the fluffy big style you can find at other Breakfast restaurants. If they were fresh out of the oven and plated with the delicious gravy it would be a 5 star in my belly and mouth. Service was fast and all food was fresh off the grill. The cooks did their job. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a quick bite to eat on the way out or coming back from any trips. I will go back and try out the Chile Verde and Chilaquiles. Also will try out the Eggs Benedict.

This place is a quaint and neat little breakfast spot! They have a small parking lot and a big outdoor space where you could bring a dog. Food was good, I had the homemade Italian sausage and it had great flavor. The menu has a good variety, staff were nice. I definitely plan on coming back.

Chicken fried steak, steak and eggs my daughter had, this was so good no problems and love the hash browns. See pics below Came back a few day later (no pictures) the hash browns tasted old and greasy and tasted like old grease. Should have left at that point. And my daughter were enjoying our food, and she noticed something it was a cockroach crawling on the table. I tried to kill it with a napkin I thought I smashed it but it was still alive crawled onto the floor my daughter got it. We called the white guy over who I guess was the manager and he just looked blankly and said "Sorry they come from the baseboards" we threw our forks down and said we were done!! He walked back to see what we had on our table and said he would comp our drinks a cup of coffee and an orange juice. I really should not have paid but will never go back. The waitresses are so nice and attentive but that's so gross.

Amazing service, delicious food, clean restaurant! Alcina took great care of us and the cooks did an excellent job with the food. I'll be coming back as long as they're open!
