I've been here twice and the quality of their food is consistently good. Service has gone down a notch mainly because they let one poor guy man the entire front of the restaurant. He did his best serving, bussing and acting cashier but it's just too much for one man to handle.+ Seafood and kimchi pancake has a nice crisp and fillings are generous. Best I've had. (5/5)+ Pork belly kimchi stew has rice cakes, noodles, cabbage, mushrooms and more. It's so tasty that I took my leftovers home and enjoyed it the following day. (5/5)+ Purple rice is great but I wish they have the option of white rice for my difficult kids (4/5)+ Banchan are the little dishes like kimchi, daikon, bean sprouts, etc. It's not much variety here but standard for a small establishment. (3/5)+ BBQ Kalbi portion is too little. It's very tasty but not worth the $30 price tag. (3/5)- Management here didn't prepare well as it's severely understaffed on a Sunday lunch. Some utensils are dirty and water bottles quickly ran out. (2/5)I think next time I'll order their bulgogi for my kids. It's much easier for the kids to eat. The highlights here are their soups and pancakes. One regular order of stew is enough for 4 people. I'll be back.

Another solid Korean spot, known for their Kalbijjim! The kalbijjim was good: tender, cheesy, fatty, saucy with lots of rice cakes, carrot, and sweet potatoes. However it was really greasy and everything kept getting burnt and stuck at the bottom. The highlight of the meal for me was the ramen tofu soup! I got medium spice and it had a good kick. The tofu was very soft and the soup was flavorful. Lots of ramen and I like that the soup comes with an egg and rice (some places skimp out on the egg). The grilled marble brisket and cheesy corn were not bad but also not standout. The brisket was plain and the cheesy corn didn't seem creamy enough or torched thoroughly. Also, weird addition of diced carrots were in there which I didn't prefer. Banchan was okay.Overall, this spot is not a bad option for Korean food, especially if you're craving tofu soup or kalbijjim. However, I do think there are definitely better options. The service can definitely be worked on. It was really minimal and didnt feel welcoming whatsoever. I liked the cute wall decor though.

I came here with a friend as we have never been to this Korean Place. It was ok. I had the tofu seafood soup, but forgot to take a photo as I was too hungry. My friend had ordered the ginseng chicken soup, she said was just ok. The place wasn't packed for a Tuesday night. It is on the pricier side. The seafood tofu soup I had wasn't too bad, would come back for that.

Fourth time here and can say they are consistent at what they do.The Korean food is delicious here. It's a solid option next to Ranch 99. What I like most is the huge portions and great service.I've gone after grocery shopping. I've had the galbi-jjim, seafood pancake, stone pot rice, steamed eggs, grilled spareribs, and tofu soup. All the flavors are authentic and tasty. The best part is the cheesy galbi-jjim getting torched in front of your eyes. The banchan (sides) are also excellent. The inside is clean and has a fresh look.

They just opened up a new location in San Jose. They serve traditional Korean cuisine, including a variety of soups, classic galbijim, bibimbap, Korean pancakes, and some stir-fried dishes at reasonable prices. Their service is fast and friendly. My favorite dish was the tofu with kimchi and pork belly. It was very flavorful, and the meat was juicy, which made it perfect to eat with rice. The beef short rib soup was well-seasoned and comforting!

[Food]- Seafood Tofu Soup in Stone Pot ($20.99): My friend got this in medium spice which was good. Glad they had a nice amount of seafood in it. I noticed in the Yelp pictures that the tofu soups come with a raw egg to put in the soup which is the usual for most Korean restaurants but we weren't given an egg for either soups.- Spicy Kimchi Pork Belly Stew in Stone Pot ($16.99): This didn't have the spice option but it tasted like it was medium, which I can handle. I was surprised that this pot was bigger than the seafood one, which isn't bad but we expected more pork in it for the size. I think at most there were about 5 small pieces of pork. - Banchan: Good variety. My favorite is their kimchi since it's more on the sour side compared to most restaurants that are on the bitter side. [Service] - Fast, friendly, helpful- Order via scanning QR code menu and then ask for the bill at the end.[Ambiance]- Ample space, clean, and casual[Overall]- Came here on a Friday at 2pm and was seated right away for 2.- I personally appreciate the purple rice but it would be nice for the customers to choose between white or purple rice. - Flavors and service were fine. I would come back if I really really craved Korean but honestly there are a few Korean restaurants around the area which are all about the same to me.

Decently sized restaurant which can accommodate a large party of 8. We ordered bulgogi mandu and seafood pancake as appetizers. The seafood pancake had the perfect crunchy texture and bulgogi mandu is different than other mandus I've had. However, I think the mandu sauce was a little light but it could be that the bulgogi mandu was flavorful already. Entrees were 2 tofu soups, 1 stone pot bibimbap and bossam. Tofu soup was ok and didn't really stand out to me compared to other places. However, the stone bibimbap is a must with cheese added. It comes premixed and there was some nice crunchy bits of rice at the bottom after finishing. I'd skip the bossam as it's just a basic boiled pork dish, didn't have the typical napa cabbage to wrap and shrimp paste.

Came back here with a group of friends on a Saturday night and luckily there was no wait. This is a Chinese run Korean resturant. I would say the service is not that great. We always had to flag down our waiter for something and they didn't really check in with us. They had no soap in the bathrooms and it seemed very dirty. The food itself was okay. The seafood pancake had a quiche like texture. I enjoy the kimchi pork belly stew. My boyfriend's squid bibimbap was good though.
