Why does a sandwich made by someone else always taste sooooo good? Well, I can tell you that in this case it's also the phenomenal Godfather Sauce that was in the Matt Cain on dutch crunch I ordered. It was all so good...fresh ingredients and the dutch crunch bread was phenomenal!My husband ordered the Hot Mama Huda and loved it! I stole a bite from him and yes, it was good.We were lucky enough to have gone in with no other customers. The young lady that took are order was friendly and shared smalltalk with us.The restaurant looked clean and we were in and out quickly. Love the little sweet treat that's included---a lollipop!

As mentioned in my previous review, my sandwich was made incorrectly because I told the person I just wanted the meat, lettuce and tomatoes but no sauce. Anyway, I contacted their website to discuss the issue. They claim they will give me a refund or coupon for another sandwich...but it never happened, because they kept coming back asking me (each is a separate email) for the reciept number, the date, what was ordered and the name on the order. After they asked for the name, which I have no idea why they would need that, since I gave them the receipt number and date/time of the order, I figured they had ABSOLUTELY NO intention of giving me a refund or a "replacement" sandwich. So, as mentioned in the previous review. I will not go to Ike's ever again.

Sandwiches are the best I've had! My go to is the menage a trois. My only gripe with Ike's is that every location I've gone to (I've gone to 3) seems to be short staffed. If you know you are popular and can expect a good amount of orders during lunch rush hour, why can't you hire 1-2 more staff to cover the need?San Leandro location takes the prize for long wait times unfortunately. And for what it's worth, I got no apology or extra lollipop which I thought was bad customer service. Every single time I go, I wait way longer than I should for my order. If I time it and pre-order then show up past when my order is expected, I can expect faster service but usually my lunch decisions are on the spot.

Ordered on-line bc your 1st sandwich is complimentary, so why not? The process was easy with the exception of not seeing the option to have the sauce off to the side. The estimated time is quite accurate.For a fun & festive Halloween as well as the anniversary of Ike's , they offered a few Phantom sandwiches that came with a purple Dutch Crunch bread. Orders:Matt Cain that came with turkey,roast beef & salami. I chose all the Freebies(lettuce, tomato, Bananna pepper, jalapeño, red onion). I didn't open the sandwich up, but it seemed loaded with lots of freebies which I appreciate, but the meat ratio was not as prominent. I did enjoy this sandwich for the variety of meats offered, just wish there was a little more.Phantom Manage a Trios- was halal chicken with honey sauces that I omitted, but a lot of cheeses(pepper jack, Swiss & cheddar). In person I asked for a side of the honey mustard sauce & that was perfect. Since this was the Phantom sandwich of the week, it had purple Dutch crunch bread. Definitely fun to eat & tastes great.I appreciate the friendly service & efficient workers. I'll be back to try more with so many sandwiches to choose from.

Tasty sandwiches made with care in Downtown San Leandro. The place is kept tidy and the ladies making the sandwiches were friendly and efficient. They did a steady stream of orders, mostly for pick up, like me, so we didn't see any folks dining in. I do have a favorite, the Sometimes I'm a Vegetarian, so that's what went with and it's just what I wanted. If I'm in the area again and on the hunt for a satisfying sandwich, I'd hit this Ike's again.

I walked in to place a to-go order. The store can get pretty busy, but the staff greeted me quickly. I love the sandwich, especially with the Dutch crunch bread. The place is pretty clean. They don't have much indoor searing, but outdoors, they are ok. I did not like that they didn't have cup holders or even a bag with a handle because I ordered a meal with chips and a drink. It's a good thing my office is close by, but that little detail is key for a client.

Great selections; great sandwiches; great service! Ambiance? Who needs it? we need good food at a reasonable price. Ike has always had this covered and it's great watching him take over the world!It's also cool that most locations have a sandwich specifically for their location. The crew at this location is the most friendly I've seen. They all seem to get along which just brings this business together more effectively. Their service is top notch and the food is always pleasant. Many choices and they're all amazing! Great music with a clean dining area and bathroom! 10/10 all around the fam loves this spot
