House of Bagels

My family use to always get bagels from the House of Bagels and there were so good. Happy to say, they are still so good. Toasted to perfection with the right amount of crispiness and then the great chew. The bagels are the perfect size, not overwhelming large but definitely enough to satisfy. The service is friendly and efficient. So glad I dropped by.

Always a family favorite. I went in today to pick up bagels for a get together and ordered a dozen bagels. They threw in a free one. They were still warm and fresh and smelled delicious. Staff is always friendly and whenever I order a stuffed bagel, it's always generously crafted. It's one of my top two places to pick up bagels. Their prices are super reasonable. The other place I go is quite expensive and fancy, but house of bagels always delivers.

I usually come a couple times a month. I really love their honey spread. The guy at the counter does it all and he's very fast. Which is a plus when I only have a few minutes to spare on my way to work. One of these days I'll try the croissants, they always look amazing in the display case.

My daughter loves House of Bagels and so do I. We usually stop here to get a quick bagel and for me coffee before work and school. Love their coffee and service is exceptional.

Top tier bagels. I am always in a pinch for lunch and order via DoorDash. Totally awesome, they follow the custom notes!I ordered the Turkey bagel and I only wanted the lettuce, tomato, mayo and onions on a plain bagel toasted. That's exactly what I got! Fully loaded too. I also ordered a plain bagel NOT toasted or cut and wanted the cream cheese on the side so I can eat it later. I wrote all this in the notes, and again, that's what I received!Very happy with this location; always a perfect order.

You can never go wrong with a bagel from House of Bagels (or HoBags) :')I didn't know that they had a location in the Almaden area... until recently! For those who are a true fan of HoBags, you've probably gone to the OG downtown San Jose location first. I fell in love with the variety of bagels and cream cheese spreads that HoBags has to offer. Noah's Bagels could never compare.. haha.I just finished a yoga class nearby today... so I thought I'd give this location a try. It tastes just as good as the downtown SJ location and has similar items on the menu as well. Tons of parking available, safer neighborhood, and great customer service from the two ladies helping us out :)I ordered a pesto cheese bagel with tomato basil cream cheese, sausage, and egg. My friend ordered an asiago cheese bagel with hummus and veggies. I didn't try my friend's bagel, but mine was SO good! You have to try the pesto cheese bagel and the tomato basil cream cheese combo at least once. So creamy, cheesy, savory, and aromatic :)Bagel sandwich prices can add up depending what you add to your bagel, but I think it's worth it. Quality service and quality bagel!I'll be back if I'm ever craving a bagel and I'm in the area.

Arrived here on a Friday morning after running errands at the bank next door, so I needed some liquid energy to fuel my day. Parking isn't a worry since there's lots of parking spaces. I got there around 10:15 AM, and I was the only customer there. The ambience was homey, packed with cold drinks, pastries, and allots of coffee. A few tables inside to sit down and dine in. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee to go and the woman working there finished my order within 5 minutes. Efficient and seamless service without a hiccup. The Vietnamese coffee was strong and had a strong sweet taste to my liking. Definitely coming back here again for Vietnamese coffee in the South San Jose area.

This review is long overdue! I have been going to house of bagels for years and specifically this location in the almaden Costco shopping center the most frequently. The owners are super nice and always provide excellent service. It gets very busy in the mornings, especially on the weekends so be prepared to wait for a little bit. There have a huge parking lot so that's never an issue. The bagels are so good. My favorite is the sausage, egg and cheese bagel but I have tried a handful of them and have never had one I didn't like. They also offer some lunch bagels that come with tuna or chicken salad etc. if you're looking for something besides a breakfast bagel. They also sell small containers of their cream cheeses which are delicious.

Feels like a small owed bagel spot from New York. Friendly people, great food, and always reliable. Cashier was very respectful.

I never thought I'd find such an authentic new york bagel in CA! But this place has it right. They even have egg bagels which are my favorite! Super fluffy, crispy exterior, and the perfect bite. I am gonna recommend this place to everyone!
