This place is basically a Korean chipotle. The service was okay. There's some seating inside. I felt like the place can be cleaner. I got the firecracker pork with cucumbers, bean sprouts, and an egg. They also provide gochujang sauce and mayo. I couldn't finish everything because it was pretty filling. I wished we weren't limited to 2 sides. The food was okay. The firecracker pork was enjoyable and flavorful.

Service was great the people were kind !The location is downtown so it's a little hard to find parking. Ordering is like Chipotle, you can go down and choose the ingredients you'd like. Food was okay. The steak was not close authentic flavoring and a little dry. The rice tasted funny and had a weird too-soft texture to it. The side dishes all had the same flavoring but was the best part of the meal ! They were refreshing and clean.

The quality of HoM is great! The food tastes and feels very comforting, and it has a good balance of carbs, protein, and veggies. I love eating korean side dishes and I really enjoyed how fresh the veggies were! The cucumbers were my favorite. I got a side of spicy mayo as well which ties the whole meal together. The shop is pretty small and the parking isn't that great as it is in downtown. The workers are fast and really nice! I would recommend if you want a quick korean meal that can be eaten there or to go.

The firecracker pork was flavorful with its spicy kick and offers a generously filling bowl that doesn't disappoint. However, the higher price point and the inconvenience of only having metered parking available slightly dim the overall experience. While the food quality and portions are commendable, these factors collectively make for an experience that's good but leaves room for improvement.

I tried their steak pieces for my protein and it was hard and dry. The pickled veggies were overly sour. Overall, the meal as a whole was filling but wasn't great. It is a good fast meal when you need it though.

Walked in and it was empty with no people. I guess I can see why. I didn't eat here cuz the employee was rude. I asked her what the bowl is and she rudely showed me the rectangle Togo container. When I asked if I can see how the bbq chicken looked like, she then again showed it with an attitude. I just said I'll pass and went to the taco truck across the street. At least, they are very nice when ordering.

Takeout order: 9/10 Braised beef $16 - almost like a Korean chipotle bowl. Meat portion was very good and filling for the amount of rice (quite packed underneath). Toppings were all fresh and good variety! Meat dried up a bit but I'm sure fresh would have been juicy. It was still quite tender and the braised flavor was very good!

Ordered at 9:30pm on a Friday - service was quick but they were out of water and toasted white rice. They also said they were out of glass noodles even when I saw clearly that they had glass noodles. The white rice was also dry. An odd experience.

It's hard to find gluten-free Asian restaurants for my wife, who has celiac disease. On a recent trip to San Jose, we came across this little spot. The prices are a little steep for the portions you get...but I guess it is located downtown... The meats are pretty tasty, but the veggies/banchan toppings are quite bland. I mean, how do you have bland kimchi? The menu is marked to say which meats are gluten-free and which aren't. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I don't know if we'll be back.

Omg! Loved loved Hom! They have a lot of options for vegetarians and vegans! They have a lot of banchan options with nice sauce as well. The tofu was cooked perfectly with amazing sauce and everything paired well with the rice. On top of it all, this bowl of food was one of the most affordable meals I've had in a long time at around $9! This is a great place to get some food whenever you're close by! One thing to note is that they don't have water here so make sure to bring your own if you're eating here.
