I was in Emeryville and looking for a good lunch spot, and saw this one while looking through Yelp. The reviews looked good and so we decided to try it out. There is a bar area as well as some tables, both inside and outside, to choose from. We ended up getting the 5 piece whachamacallit chicken wings, beer battered onion rings, and the firefighter karaage burger. The karaage burger was definitely a favorite. The size of the karaage itself was huge and was way too big for the bun. Honestly it was a bit difficult to eat, but the amount of chicken you get is a steal. It The karaage stayed juicy as well, while maintaining a good crunch on the outside. The addition of the slaw and pickled jalapeno complimented the burger too. A tad bit too spicy for me but not painful and the heat didn't seem to linger long. The chicken wings were cooked perfectly and were coated with just the right amount of sauce. Not too spicy either. Although I'm not a fan of the onion ring batter, I do think the onion rings were fried well. I also appreciate that the onion itself was noticeable and not just all batter. Overall, this was such a great find. The portion sizes were super generous and the food tasted even better than the pictures. The food comes out relatively quickly and service was good. Parking is easy to find around the area too.

OMG, this place. I'm so glad I found this spot. The food everything we had ordered it was delicious. It was a group of 5 of us. I had the Honey cured Bacon Waygu burger. The flavor on that burger was on point. The rest of us had sandwiches as you see in the picture. These sandwiches were huge. It's very well worth the price! Also had some fries. Wow, that's some good, very well seasoning nice. I had a crunchy to it. The service was good! Environment is a very cozy, nice place to hang out and have good drinks. Even on days that have games, nice place for it.It has a big screen TV, and the type of food they have are good when you watch games. You must check them out for yourself. You will not be disappointed!

Hella delicious, and not even that hidden. I'm a sucker for a good vegetarian sammie, but it takes a lot to impress this mess. Mostly because I'm used to getting messed up and mucked over by lame excuses for sandwiches that lack flavor, variety and substance; just putting all of the standard sammich ingredients (e.g, tomato, lettuce, onion, mayo, mustard, and pickles) sans carne is NOT enough to qualify as a yummy vegetarian sando. But mm mmm mmmmmmm! When I bit down on that Strength sandwich and those marinated artichoke hearts and pesto and schnazzy sauce took over, I was sold. Beyond sold. In fact, even my (meat-munchin' mooch) carnivorous boyfriend was feeling the flavor my plate offered up and kept asking for more. He had a pastrami sandwich that he also enjoyed when he wasn't stealing my Strength. My only hangup is that I'll probably only ever eat that particular sandwich off the menu; aside from the Strength, all of the hot sandwiches at Hidden Spot are meat-based. So unless I'm going for the tater tots (I'm not), I'm a bit limited. But I don't really care. This spot is still worth it for me.

Was in the area and came across this spot. Open pretty late so hours are convenient. There was not a lot of people in the establishment , pretty quiet. Service was really quick able to get seated quickly. Both our drinks were delicious and had a good amount of alcohol. All the sides came out pretty quickly, my favorite was the hottie toddies and the wings. The hottie totties sauce was everything!! My burger did take about 25 to 30 minutes to come out as they bought me the wrong one originally but once I got it, I was surprised as it had a bold blend of flavors. It was like breakfast, but In a burger style lol. Overall it was pretty good first expei

Good food & great spot to watch the game with a few friends. Started off with the MVP wings which were very reminiscent of a soy garlic flavor you'd get at a Korean Fried Chicken joint. Tasty flavor but the wings weren't anything juicy like I would have liked. For sides we got onion rings and the seasoned fries. Both super crispy. Loved the fluffy interior of the fries as well. Then for the main I ordered the hero burger medium rare. I'd say it was more of a medium or medium well which was pretty disappointing, but the flavor was nice. Slightly expensive spot for the quality but the portions are large and will make you full quick! The spot was a bit hard to find (hence the name). It's pretty tiny inside with a few seats outside. We came during the olympics so it got quite loud, but again an awesome spot for games or a few drinks with friends. Service was friendly and fairly quick for being busy.

Hidden Spot is my favorite restaurant in the Bay Area. I love both this location and their South San Francisco location too, but the atmosphere at this location is more family friendly, with a good amount of seating arrangements inside and outside. The food is always amazing. I've tried their sandwiches, burgers, and wings (get the honey butter wings for sure!!) and they don't have a bad item on their menu. Fries are seasoned perfectly as well. Service is also 5 stars. Highly recommend

Went for happy hour after the last Oakland A's game cuz my family was craving wings. Honestly pretty solid! We'd go here again. The happy hour menu had a few decent munchie items that we enjoyed like the fish and chips and nacho tater tots. There was also a spinach dip we'll have to try when we come back. The service was alright, kinda hoped our server checked on us a bit more considering the place wasn't packed but they were tentative enough and very kind! Ambiance was a vibe, we were able to watch football live playing on multiple tv's inside so that's always a plus for me.

This is my second time coming to this bar and restaurant and the food here is pretty good. I've only come here for the food but there is a variety of drinks to choose from as well. Service is friendly, and the place is small. Seating outside and inside. As for the food the burgers are good and wings are as well. It's nice to come here with some close friends to have a good bite to eat and good vibes.

Food is fire, wings are so good. I also ordered The Sheriff and it did not disappoint. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the service was really slow. We waited for about 10 mins just to order some beers and apps. I had to go inside to the bar to order another round and pay for the check. It's like they forgot us outside however if this was solely reviewing the food. They killed it.
