Hansang Tofu has quickly become one of my favorite Korean spots, and I absolutely love bringing my friends here! The staff is always so kind and caring, going above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. They're incredibly accommodating, which makes every visit such a pleasant experience. The food here is amazing and always comes out hot and fast. The original fried chicken is a standout--so crispy and juicy! While I've tried some of the sauces, they weren't quite my cup of tea, but the chicken itself is perfect. The japchae is another favorite, with its huge, flavorful portions that are perfect for sharing. And the galbi? It's my all-time favorite! It's so tender and delicious, served piping hot and fresh every time. One of the best parts about Hansang Tofu is the generous array of banchan. The staff is always so kind about bringing refills of my favorites, which really adds to the experience. The location is small but cozy, and there's rarely a long wait, thanks to the huge shared parking lot nearby. If you're looking for a delicious, welcoming Korean spot, Hansang Tofu is the place to go!

We walked into Hansang Tofu wanting something warm and soothing after a long drive. The combination tofu soup with a delicious banchan spread hit the spot. The flavor of the tofu soup was one that was reminiscent of a delicious home-cooked meal. The seafood pancake was one of the best seafood pancakes I've had. It was served crispy with a variety of seafood. The staff seemed busy but they were generous in refilling our ban chan when requested. Hansang has become my favorite tofu soup in the Bay Area.

Seafood pancake 5/5 - this is very crispy so if you like crispy pancake then get this here. There is also a decent amount of seafood mix inside. Can share this dish with 6 people, it's pretty big. Spicy chicken 3/5 - this was not that good and there were very few chicken and lots of veggies. Tofu soup 5/5 - I haven't tried many tofu soups in the bay but this one is my favorite so far. Broth tastes very goodBanchans here were not my favorite though. The fish cake wasn't good. Eggplant was also not good. There was some type of tofu which I never had before. Pickled cucumbers but I wish it was spicyWe came on a Saturday for dinner and waited about 20 mins to get seated.

A Korean food night with family at Hangsamg Tofu in Milpitas is always a delightful experience. The varieties of traditional Korean side dishes added to the excitement of our meal. We indulged in some of our favorites: seafood bibimbap rice served in a sizzling hot stone pot, crispy fried chicken wings, crispy seafood pancake and a comforting tofu soup. Each dish was bursting with flavor and made for a memorable culinary journey. Service is efficient despite restaurant is closed to full. Ambiance is causal.

It's been so cold lately so I was craving some soup! Here is what we got:Sundubu (5/5): I got it with dumplings. First off, the flavor of the sundubu was AHHHHMAZING! I got the medium spice but next time I'll go for spicy. Quantity was great. I felt overstuffed just from this dish but I wanted to make a good effort to eat EVERYTHING I will get stuck in traffic on a weekday just to get this soup again. Fried chicken (4/5): What was interesting was that they had fried chicken on the menu which you don't see often in sundubu spots. We got the soy and garlic flavor (5/5) which was sweet and tangy all in one bite! The BBU-RING-KLE was ok (3.5/5) as it was just powdered cheese. I was told that in certain BHC spots they provide the BBU-RING-KLE with a white sauce which seals the deal in flavor. But overall the chicken was moist and such a nice surprise to have it with my sundubu! I'll try the Supreme next time.Banchan (5/5): on point! They had eggplant banchan which was the first for me. Very soft full of flavor. Price: cost of each item was $20 without tax. It is on the higher side than expected but I have not come across Korean food that is cheaper and meets expectations.Staff: super friendly and accommodating to my kiddo's needs.Ambience: nothing amazing in terms of the aesthetics but a BIG PLUS for me was that the bathrooms were clean which is great if you have kiddos with small bladders

Food was delicious and service was great. Our party of 8 were seated by the door, ample space and didn't feel tight. The table had plates, utensils, water jugs and cups. The menu had shared appetizers, rice bowls, soup, and BBQ options. Banchan was provided, but I'm not sure if they refill. The seafood pancake was delicious. There were decent cuts of seafood. The galbi seasoning wasn't too salty and barbecued really nice. Some bits were charred. The sweet onion bed prevented the galbi from overcooking. The dol sot bi bimbap with pork was delicious and had a good ratio of vegetables and protein. The pork has some mild spicy seasoning. I left the rice to get super crispy. The japchae serving was huge and not too oily. The restaurant was packed during dinner service. Great place to have a meal, with decent food portions.

The seafood pancake was the best: fried crispy goodness. (ordered because it had a heart next to it on the menu). Portions are pretty big here; I could barely try everything. The banchan is really good (and filling). The pork bulgogi was ok, maybe I should've gotten the spicy version. The fried chicken was ok, but a specialty fried chicken place would be a better choice.

Came by around noon on a Friday and there were plenty of seats! The restaurant began to fill up near the end of our meal. We ordered the Galbi and Tofu Soup Combo (35). We got the Mushroom soup with Mild Spicy. We also ordered a Mul Naeng Myun (Cold Buckwheat Noodles w/ Icy Beef Broth). The tofu soup had good flavors but was a bit salty. It came with rice that paired well with it! The Galbi was tender and had a nice char. I wish the onions were cooked a bit more. The cold buckwheat noodles were standard and tasty. They provide vinegar and mustard bottles for you to season to taste. The banchan was pretty good and our server asked if we wanted to refill any specific sides. The service was good and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I'd come back if I was in the area!

Visited this restaurant for a late lunch yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Despite a 15-minute wait for a table, the experience was well worth it. I was drawn in by the appealing photos on Yelp and the menu, which looked promising.I ordered the beef tofu soup and a half order of the sweet and spicy fried chicken. Both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The tofu soup was rich and comforting, with tender beef and a well-balanced broth. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy, with just the right amount of heat and sweetness. The meal came with complimentary banchan (small side dishes), which were a highlight. The selection was generous and included a variety of fresh and tasty options. The restaurant has a family-friendly atmosphere, and the service was attentive and efficient. I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone craving delicious Korean food, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
