Grandma’s Hands

I have the Oxtail's, rice and gravy, Mac and cheese, green beans and cornbread (maybe cake?). The Oxtails, rice and gravy, and green beans were all bomb and seasoned well. The mac and cheese was cheesy, but needed more flavor. I seasoned it myself at home. The cornbread was too sweet, however if it was cake, it was just fine. The food was delicious, and I will be going again. P.S. My friend got the Prawns and Snapper and said it was delish, and properly seasoned!!

I absolutely love the food. The customer service is friendly and always with a smile. The few times that I've visited I've always enjoyed my meals. The oxtails are my favorite!

Food is 4Stars, but the rest of the experience is not.The restaurant is not in the best of locations, and when I arrived to pickup my order there were several young people hanging outside in front of the business smoking weed. Inside the restaurant had several people milling around. Some were waiting on orders others seemed to be just there, hanging out. None of the people inside had masks on, including the young lady that was at the register. I'd called in my order 25 minutes prior to arrival, and when I got there, it still wasn't ready which resulted in another 20 minute wait.Parking near this place is almost nonexistent. My sister who drove had to double park in front like the several other customers.So to summarize, location is not for the feint of heart, and it may take longer than expected to get your food, but if you can deal with all of that, you may find it to be worth your while.

Two stars because of service. Food, ordered via Doordash was really good about 4 months ago. Now it always shows closed, and opening on Thursday at 2pm. Thursday comes and they are still closed. Ohh, well. I unstarred them as a favorite, and will get my oxtails from somewhere else. 3 stars is for the memory. Can't give five stars to food I can't get.

I had them on DoorDash. Once I had the opportunity to have oxtails with rice/gravy plus mac and cheese and another side I do not remember. That was a excellent 5 star meal wow . After that I tried to order again and my order kept getting canceled. I will try again.

If you want A GOD OLD FASHIONED HOME COOKED MEAL ,go HERE. You CAN NOT AND WILL NOT GO WRONG. Everything on the menu is a good choice. I had to put on a bib to eat. LA LA,You did the dang thing. Grandmother and Auntie Marva is looking down on you. You found your calling. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME. and so is the food.Love you cuz. Keep up the good work you've earned it.

The oxtails were good very very small only 3 a lot of rice a lil gravy mac n cheese tasted like box wasn't good string beans was plain also but not too bad

$16. Got bake chicken comes with rice and gravy got 2 sides Mac n cheese n greens. The chicken was falling off the bone, but all the food needed season and it just wasn't me I left my friend try and they said the exact same thing. Hot sauce on the greens fixed the greens. Mac n cheese reminded me of out the box. Nice size plate. I'll go again because I like to support locals next time hopefully better season and I want get the mad n cheese.

This restaurant provided food for about 50-ish people (in the middle of COVID-19!) for a recent work event I attended. All of the feedback I heard from my coworkers about the food was GREAT. My food was absolutely delicious! I'm still thinking about that shrimp hoagie I had with the perfectly seasoned fries. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try for some comfort food.
