Yumm. I was craving fish and chips after not having it for a loooong time now - has it been over a year?!?Was passing by the area and decided to stop by since it was one of the restaurants still open later in the evening with a good star rating.I was the only person there on a Friday evening. The restaurant was clean and welcoming inside. The shop keeper showed me how to place my order on the kiosk and gave me a heads-up that the prices listed on the printed menus on the counter were outdated to what the kiosk had. Since I was ravenous, I ordered a super hungry meal and got a cup of clam chowder and a watermelon lemonade drink to go. He made my order quickly - frying up the fish fillets, fries, and shrimp. The coleslaw, mac salad, and soup were prepackaged. I also got the lemon garlic butter sauce and ketchup.All my food was packaged securely and lasted the drive home without any spills or mishaps. The fish was crunchy and tender inside. The shrimp and fries had a Cajun seasoning that wasn't too spicy. Really enjoyed the butter sauce with the seafood.Mac salad was creamy with noodles cooked all dente. I know some people might prefer their noodles softer, so heads-up there. The clam chowder was tasty and satisfying, though nothing out of the ordinary.Watermelon drink was on the sweet side but refreshing. I'm glad I got it to pair with the rest of the food. Overall, very happy with my meal here. If I'm ever starving late in the evening, I'd definitely consider grabbing food from here again!

I used to order this place once a week from Doordash because of the high quality food! I stopped ordering only cause they got rid of their cajun sauce which when paired with their lemon butter sauce made for the best combo!They lost a loyal customer, also not sure how they still sell cajun fries but no cajun sauce?I'm hoping they just forgot to update the Doordash menu to include the cajun sauce but until they fix that, I'll no longer be ordering from them.

This is a casual spot that offers a great deal on fish and chips! Now, I normally don't get fish and chips unless I'm going to a city with a body of water close by, like SF, Monterey, or SD, but this really checked off all the boxes! We got a super hungry combo meal with garlic fries and mac salad! Very quick service for the weekend and super big portion, enough to feed 2!!! I loved the garlic fries. They were worth the upgrade and bursting with flavor. For the two sauces we chose the tartar sauce and spicy garlic cream. Only note I have is I wish two sauces were included instead of one for all of this food or if it was a surcharge that it would be bigger ramekins. The person who was frying the fish was super nice and asked us what we thought of the food at the end. Overall, great stop and would visit again!

Golden Catch Fish & Chips was a fantastic find for lunch during our visit to San Jose. The restaurant is small but impressively clean and organized, with an inviting outdoor area for dining as well.The staff member who assisted us was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions with a smile. When our food arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions--huge pieces of fish and a plentiful serving of fries.The prices were very reasonable given the amount of food, making it an excellent value. Overall, I highly recommend Golden Catch for anyone craving delicious fish and chips, especially if you're looking for a hearty meal!

Came in on a weekday to give this place a try. The person working behind the counter was very helpful with ordering from the kiosk. He made the meal right away and it was cooked to perfection. Lots of different sauces to try out. The worker had awesome service, checking up on me to make sure I had enough sauce and asking if the food was to my liking. Good atmosphere inside with an NBA game on TV while I got to enjoy my food. Can't wait to go back whenever I have cravings for fish and chips.

Oh man oh man! This is place is fire. I ordered the Super Hungry Meal Combo with mac salad and Cajun fries as well as a bowl of clam chowder. The combo meal came with 3 pieces of fish and 5 pieces of shrimp. They were all fried to perfection! The fish was so tender and crisp. The shrimp was plump and flavorful. The Cajun fries were cooked to perfection. I got tartar and sweet chili lime sauce to complement my combo. They paired excellent together! The clam chowder soup was delicious! It's a must try. The mac salad on the other hand I wasn't too fond of. It was slathered with a lot of mayo. This option isn't for everyone. I ordered my meal for delivery and I will definitely be coming back here. This is my favorite fish and chips place by far. They really hooked it up with the service and I appreciate that a lot. They made sure I had everything I needed. I enjoyed it all.

Really nice fish and chips place. The ambiance is very casual, as you order from a kiosk. The service is great. We each got the 2 piece fish and chips. Our sides were cole slaw, regular, and Cajun fries. Wow, just wow. The fish was perfectly done, not greasy. It's panko-crusted, so a welcome change from overly battered fish at other places. We ordered vinegar to go with our fish. I LOVE that it was in a dipping cup! Then I could dip my fish in it, instead of trying to sprinkle vinegar on it. More vinegar-y goodness! The cole slaw was good. The Cajun fries were very good, as was the macaroni salad. The manager (?) made sure to check with us and the other dine-in customers to see if all was ok. Great place!

Great first time!! Fish and Chips in general is just my favorite food ever and this place does it super AMAZING. The fries are seasoned perfectly, the fish is so nicely crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The price matches the quality perfectly. The staff are so nice and helpful, I hope this place gets more attention, a hidden gem truly, will come again and thank you so much for the lovely hospitality

We came to eat here and the girl who was working behind the counter was RUDELY talking on the phone in Spanish ON SPEAKER PHONE so loudly. She completely ignored us when we walked in, didn't greet us at all. We are still sitting here, she just finally acknowledged we got drinks and gave us cups, and there's NO ICE. I keep trying the ice and she's literally right there feet away, not even acknowledging the many times I'm pressing the ice with zero coming out. Then to top it off, the Pepsi Zero sugar is just water. Finally my husband, who speaks Spanish, spoke to her in Spanish about the ice and Pepsi, and Ooooo boy did she snap into shape then. She put the ice in, but didn't have a solution for the zero sugar Pepsi. She got us our food, what we needed and now we're at the end of our meal and she's back to being on the phone with it on speaker phone talking very loudly. 2 stars because the food is just as good as last time we were here, but gah damn.

Plus give more stars equals ten baby I'm so happy I found the place its soo good and the prices are amazing I promise you won't be disappointed!!!Thank me later ok
