The beers here are absolutely delicious--wow! And the staff, especially Johnny, was fantastic. This place is a must-visit if you're heading to a Sharks game. They'd be missing out if they didn't start distributing sixtels or pony kegs to Sacramento! Places like Hop Garden, University of Beer, Final Gravity, Mojo's, or Humble would be perfect spots for their brews.(By the way, the bathroom code is 23587.)

Just act like you aren't miserable and when I look at you and try to grab your attention it's because I want to order something - oh and by the way ...the harder you work the more tips you make . A smile and what can I get for you goes a long way when slinging beers in a Whole Foods ...n=1

Service, genuine, compassion and all the social skills to make someone feel welcome and warm. Johnny, a respected employee and bartender at Whole Foods tended to my wife and I made us feel welcome and appreciated. Johnny took time out of his day to break away from his busy tasks to socialize and make my wife feel comfortable. They both connected on behalf of his sweet and engaging interaction about his experiences with cancer and he made my wife feel not alone and stronger. From an outsiders perspective..... this was a moving and inspiring moment to see someone take so much pride to make someone feel better and welcome. You are lucky to have an employee like this that will deliver this real service to all! Thank you!

This place is the PERFECT rooftop brewery. Right on top of a Whole Foods (you can bring food/drink you buy from there to the brewery) and great views out onto San Jose and the SAP Center. I came here with a big group of people (10) and we were able to find a table very quickly. Huge selection of beers for a small space and even alternatives like sours and hard kombuchas. Everyone raved about it and the beertender was also super friendly and suggested us a spot to go to next. Absolutely will return when I find myself in SJ or going to an event at SAP Center.

5 stars for the beer selection and laid back setting. I've tried several of their beers in the past while watching sports on their two TV's at the bar. This time, I got the Floodcraft West Coast IPA Lives, and it was good. I tried my friend's Toppling Goliath Pineapple Papaya Fandango, and it is super fruity! There's a good amount of seating for such a small space. And they have heaters above (for those cooler days) since the venue is entirely outdoors. Service is friendly, and the worker clarified that they close at 9pm on Saturdays, with last call at 8:30pm (even though their hours posted online say otherwise). I usually get lucky with street parking right out front. But there's also the Whole Foods parking lot in the back, since this is pretty much attached to Whole Foods on the Alameda. They allow outside food to enjoy with your beer, so it's easy to grab something from the store before heading over.

I love this lil gem! It's conveniently right above Whole Foods on the Alameda, and with parking onsite. My favorite weekday lunch is grabbing hot bar food downstairs then heading up for a beer at Floodcraft. They offer their own brews as well as a great selection of beers from breweries throughout the Bay Area. Happy hour during the weekdays until 6 too!

I passed this brewery a couple of times while shopping at Whole Foods, but I finally got the chance to go this past weekend! I love the location because you can just grab food/snacks at the grocery store and bring it up.Around noon/1 PM, it was pretty empty. At 3 though, all the spots were taken. It seems like people like coming here for after-lunch/afternoon drinks.I think the drinks are reasonably priced, and we got our own flights for around $3-5 per 4 ounce pour ($15ish per flight). They have 20+ beers on tap and you're pretty much bound to find something you like. Some of them are quite strong too. I didn't catch his name, but the person working was super friendly. He was chatting us up while we watched the sports on the wall. Don't be shy about asking for recommendations. I would definitely come back!

What a sweet spot! Never would've expected a brewery that's a part of Whole Foods to be so cool! Really liked that even though it was a part of the store, it was disconnected and felt like its own spot. Awesome rooftop with a view of the SAP center. Could get loud when the train was going by, but really didn't notice it too many times during the couple hours I was there. They had heaters hanging so it stayed fairly warm for a cold night, definitely still needed a jacket though! Came on a Tuesday night around 6 and it was fairly crowded for the size of the space. There was only one table open when I arrived, but there was some outer bar seating available too. Some of the table were pretty big and probably could've been used as communal tables too if it had been more crowded. They had a pretty good tap list with a wide variety of brews. I opted for the PB & Jam sour, I was extremely skeptical about it but able to taste it before ordering and ended up being pleasantly surprised. They played good music that changed as the night went on. Started out with some upbeat classics like Jackson 5, turned into songs in Spanish, and then to some punk rock. Was so there for the punk rock!

Internet is super fast which is a plus if you like doing work outside. Drinks taste refreshing and come out fast. Servers are nice and friendly. Great place for a lunch break because it's just some stairs down to Whole Foods.
