They poke a vent hole in the to-go box so it doesn't get soggy! Very thoughtful.

We called in for a pick-up since we got lazy cooking that night. Their foods taste great and the price is reasonable. Owner told us the estimation time for pick up and when I came inside 7 minutes earlier, the place is packed and my food is ready for pick up. Amazingly the food is still piping hot when I got home. Place to go to hungry or not.

PARTICULAR ITEMSWhen I go to restaurants that have the same cuisine I try to order different items. Especially if the items are not served at other restaurants. One day I came to Dragon House for lunch because one of the items on lunch menu stood out - beef with mushrooms. Mushrooms have an umami taste. The combination of mushrooms and beef results in a filling dish. I really enjoyed this dish for lunch. The beef with mushrooms dish was promising start.Almost a week later I came here for dinner specifically to order the fried flounder, which not listed in the lunch menu. The breading has a light crust, yet I wished it was crunchier. Anytime a whole meat is deep fried you worry if the meat was overcooked. The meat from the flounder wasn't dry but moist. However I wish the sauce for fried flounder was thicker. Curry is not what you associate with Chinese food, but I came back to Dragon House a couple of weeks later for that reason. For lunch I ordered the chicken curry. I don't believe should be drenched in sauce, but I also believe you should taste the flavor of the sauce. The chicken dish had a very light curry sauce however I couldn't taste the curry. My first time eating at the Dragon House I was very pleased. The other two times the dishes were satisfactory. The items I had were tasty, but I expected more yet ended up as ok.

Tried their lunch special today and ordered their Kung Pao Chicken. Very good and a good amount of food for only $9.95 and came with soup. Excellent service as well even with a packed restaurant. Both the man and woman serving us today were very nice. Will definitely return. Great value.

Not sure if it has changed hands. I used to be a frequent customer with family. Decided to go recently solo for egg foo yung takeout. One patty that was very greasy. I came home and had to squeeze the patty several times between paper towels to remove the oil to make it edible. Though I should share the same waitresses are still there from long ago. They are friendly and polite so I don't want to fuss about the service.

If you want a quick lunch at a reasonable price, this place will offer both. When most places are increasing their prices due to the pandemic, this place still carries the same price during the pre-pandemic. This is one of a few places where you can still find a lunch special for less than $10. I had their string bean chicken with rice and was also served with a small bowl of soup with 2 pcs of wanton. It came quickly When you're in a hurry for a quick lunch to go back to work or run errands, this place is the right one. Their menu is simple and the choices are the normal menu you get from any Chinese restaurant. There's no difference in the taste or flavor compared to other places. It's not bad nor it's good but if you want a simple dish at a reasonable price, this place is good.

A decent spot for a quick and affordable lunch. I had the sweet and sour pork lunch special. A little too much MSG, I was dehydrated after my meal. Great service.

Love this place. The honey prawn was so good, the fried rice is flavorful, the salted rib and fish is also good, can't go wrong with the soup as well. I've been here many times and each time I was not disappointed. Service was so nice and the place feels clean. Overall I highly recommend and will continue to come back.

One Sentence Summary: Feel free to eat here if you want to support disgustingly greedy people who love harassing their customers for tip AFTER you've already tipped them.Full Review:Left a tip in their tip box by the cash register immediately after paying for our meal, which was delicious. However, as we got up from our table, the man working in the restaurant stood in front of the front door and asked "where's the tip?" I told him I left it in the box in the front, and this guy had the nerve to say "I didn't see it." So I told him to go check his tip box, and once he confirmed that I left a tip in there, he became quiet and walked back to the kitchen in shame (as he should). I should've taken it back since he was practically trying to trap us in the restaurant if we didn't tip, which is disgusting behavior.Mind you, this isn't the first time we've been harassed for tip. Last time we were there, the cashiers charged us gratuity, and STILL had the nerve to ask where the tip was. I told myself I'm never going back, but I figured maybe they've changed. Nope. Same poopy behavior.I really want to support this place since their food is delicious and it is a local mom and pop business. However, I will NEVER support a businesses who, after already providing a generous tip, treat you like you haven't tipped them at all and like you owe them something.Dine here at your own risk.
