It's been a while since I've come, but I've missed these fancy donuts. The last time I came to this location was I believe during 2020 and there was a line out of the door. I'm kind of surprised it isn't still like that. I didn't even know they added seating, and though minimal, a few people were in there on their laptops in the morning. Can't stop, cron't stop. I got the maple cron't and the vanilla cron't. They're so delicious I thought about peeling it back layer by croissant layer to savor the flavor. I came for the donuts. I didn't know they made breakfast sandwiches too! Maybe next time. Anyway, I love this location even though they aren't close to me on broadway anymore. Here, you can most likely find parking.

The donuts at this place are second to none in the SF Bay Area! I've been a loyal patron since they first opened in downtown Oakland.Though I can't pick a favorite, I tend to most enjoy any of the selection made with salted caramel. It's the sweet-salty, crispy outside and yummy softness in the middle that gets me every time!All of the donuts are made with quality ingredients you can taste easily, have delicate yet full flavor and are given just the right amount of sweetness in variety of delightful textures.Folks who work there are courteous and knowledgeable about what they sell to patrons. They treat each other and patrons with warmth and kindness.The space is always clean, simply decorated and maintains a community-like atmosphere that makes it easier to forget the crowd that gathers on its busiest days of business. A visit to this spot should be on the bucket list for any out-of-town visitors!

Full disclosure, I'm not a huge donut fan. But I love this place Staff is welcoming and friendly. Also patient while waiting for you to decide from the plethora of options! Don't sleep on the coffee here. Not only is it a great compliment to the donuts, the menu is vast and the offerings are just plain GOOD. The location is tucked away, but easily accessible. I found parking during AM commute hours easily. Inside is a clean, comfortable space with limited seating. Donuts are displayed in such a way that you can clearly see all of the offerings. They aren't stacked on top of each other like your average spot.Donuts themselves are smaller than what you normally see, but I LOVE that! They are made much better than your typical donut. Fresher, lighter, and better quality. I felt much better about buying two because they were not massive sugar bombs.

Not great. Donuts were thick and dense and paid $25-30. The only upside is the wide and interesting flavors for fillings. Ordered about a dozen of majority of their flavors including their croissant donuts and their minis. My favorite so far was the croissants dusted in cinnamon sugar and the lemon ones. The other donuts were dense and chewy. Not what a donut should be like especially a place stating they are donut savants.

My co-worker recommended this place. I woke up and headed over right when they opened Saturday morning. Good service and good food. Would I come back? Maybe and give them a second chance.

Always sad this place moved from its original spot on Broadway where it was when we first moved to Oakland but still stop at their current location whenever we are in the area for their awesome donuts. Happy to support them because their donuts are really delicious. I love that their options are nice for kids because they have small sizes also for kids that can't have a lot of sugar.

Love this spot. Donuts are . The folks who work there are always gracious. Sometimes I just wish they offered delivery but grateful for whenever I can get a hold of their delicious donuts!

You would think a donut spot is well a donut spot! But no not donut savant. They are not extravagant but classy! I usually go with a cinnamon sugar cronut and something with a custard filling either the sugar or Boston cream! And let me tell you their custard filling is A1!! The cronut has a crunch when you bite into it but the inner portion is not dry but moist it's a great early morning treat! I highly recommend!! I'll remember to take a picture next time!

Came here on a Saturday morning, plenty of street parking. I ordered a vanilla latte and was recommended their original glazed cronut. The coffee came out quick and I really enjoyed the cronut, nice and flaky.

Everything offered here is great and CONSISTENT. it's a nice community staple that adds a little color to a Saturday morning.
