Was craving veggie ph0, hadn't been to this spot in a long time, was glad it survived C0vid. Had #1, the ph0 combo. Got some spring rolls and this fake fish roll thing that was pretty incredible. Pretty awesome and ghetto. Very authentic. Had to scrounge for napkins and condiments off other tables. Only one person kinda speaks English, maximum realism. Anddd I got cash for your patriotic tax evading asses. =)

Been here at least 30y. Wide variety of hot steam table combo boxes. 2 Items where rice or noodles doesn't count as an item for $12. Lowest price/portion ratio in 2024. Low rent area on Story Road in older strip center. Hard to find; on end. The alley next to them used to have homeless sleeping there until they fenced it off with wrought iron fencing. I let the sweet cashier pick the items. Ended up trying a fried chicken made from tofu and sweet and sour veggie combo with pineapple. Bitter melon available in vegetarian version without the stuffed pork. Very unique and flavorful. Impossible to name all the items. There is no equivalent in any other place. Soups good for eat there. Fresh noodles and vegetables with vegetarian broth. No CWD prions unlike other places. Going to be a much bigger issue in the future with increasing cognitive decline.

CASH ONLY, and NO ATM ON SITE.It's no wonder this spot has been around for so long. Just a classic Vietnamese cuisine inspired vegetarian takeout joint. I can't say all items are vegan but for sure, everything is vegetarian. Many of their items are made to look or at least have the texture of meat-like dishes, but are in fact made of soy, etc.The best part is that anything you order from here ACTUALLY tastes like the real deal -- savory and with all the right spices and seasonings.I was a Vegetarian for a while, and even a Vegan for a hot minute, and if I ever switched back to either of those diets -- this would be my go-to spot for all Vietnamese food cravings.Love supporting this locally owned small business!

It's time for an update on this chain vegetarian place. Quality and service has gone way down since I've been here before COVID. Prices have gone way up for the smaller portions you get. Shrinkflation is no joke and can visibly see it. The fried mushroom tofu used to be huge chunks: they used to be like the size of 1 tofu block cut into four. Back then it was like 5 cube chunks for $1. Now those cubes turned to like slivers. Getting like around 1/8 (might be smaller) of a block of tofu. Not only that but 3 pieces for $1! The containers are noticeably smaller too and prices went up like crazy. You're better going to the vegetarian restaurants and order to go for even better portion/price and taste. Such a sad thing to see a promising takeout vegetarian place to stoop down to. Also, unlike normal take out service places, this place stopped replenishing their food trays. So if you come later (heck by lunch time they start running out), don't expect them to reload the trays. Also most of the stuff you see on the menu... they won't make it like "salted fish fried rice" and such and would say that what you see available is what they only have left. Same concept applies to the one on story rd. I'm taking my money elsewhere to places like Di Lac restaurant and order takeout from there. Fresher replenishment as well as food made to order. Won't be surprised if the chain gets shut down in the near future. Do better.

This place is a tasty vegan spot. I got a bowl with vermicelli and mock pork with vegetables. It was very tasty and fresh. I thought it came with spring rolls or rolls in the picture but it didn't come with it. That was a bit of a bummer but this was still filling. This is definitely more of a hole in the wall place.

Ma and pa vegan shop. Cash only. This place is really hidden away. This place has last ever since I was a teen, glad to see it still standing. Haven't had the food in forever decided to try it again and I'm so glad I did. The dishes were as flavourful as I remembered. Will definitely be coming back to support this little gem. Tell me what you think.

Been coming out here for the past three years can't beat their prices just look at their lunch specials and a whole list of food items and so many to choose from. For starters I would have my favorite dish fresh spring rolls (goi cuon) and lotus root salad two of the healthiest Vietnamese food them I would also have the fried tofu and they have four for the price of a dollar and one large size rice noodles $7.50. The lady that works here is so generous along with her staff and always greet me when I come in. My go to for freshly made Vietnamese meal and their pho are so delicious. Highly recommend to my friends and co-workers. Parking not a problem though it's best to come by early than later particularly on the weekends.

When I need my vegetarian fix and don't have time to cook for my family, this is where I get my grub. It's a cash only place so don't forget to bring enough. Be forewarned, the food is on the sweeter side, but most of the dishes here are meant to be eaten with rice or noodles. I usually order the BBH (bun bo hue). It's salty and more concentrated so I usually add water to it and it's perfect for two. Their 3 different type spring roll is my favorite in the Bay Area. They have fried egg roll wrappers in the rolls which gives it a good crunch. The carrot/jicama roll is what I enjoy out of the 3. I also usually get their salad, but lately, they only have the jackfruit salad topped with nuts.

Authentic place with vegan menu items I have not come across before. We had another sweet customer help us with the options. The congee was healthy and delicious! Fried rice was good too. We would definitely come back to try different options here.
