Cake Barn

I went to the pop-up sale at Coffee & Water Lab, and there was a variety of cookies for sale. Jane was very friendly and greeted us with a smile.The cookies are a little on the sweet side, but I love the texture. The matcha dulcey cookie was sweeter than the mocha cookie likely because of the dulcey part, but each bite was a nice hit of flavor and crispiness. Personally the crispiness is the selling point of these cookies. For these prices, the cookies serve as great gifts or just small treats!

The two mochi muffins I bought from Cake Barn at SJMade have my mouth watering. chewy and moist! I got Pandan and Ube flavor. Although it looks like it may be difficult to get my hands on these, I do hope to be able to enjoy these again. They are delicious!

I don't usually leave reviews, but after trying the cookies at SJMade, I have to say the matcha red bean mochi was one of the best cookies I've ever had. I have never had matcha in a cookie, but I really enjoyed the flavor - it wasn't too sweet and the red bean with mochi reminded me of some sweets I had in Japan.
