We're big Cajun Crack'n lovers, more specifically for their Milpitas location since it has never disappointed us. When the craving for seafood boil came up, we were excited to see another Cajun Crack'n location nearby in SJ so we decided to try it out! We ordered for takeout / pickup via DoorDash.Upon arriving at the address listed on DD, finding the restaurant itself was already a struggle. After circling a busy parking lot twice, we realized after reading some Yelp reviews that it was found inside some sort of bar/restaurant. The signage was very hidden; look for decals on the glass. When coming in to pick up our order, we showed them what we ordered and the woman who was at the front walked away without saying anything... and didn't come back. We didn't receive our order until 20-30 minutes after our expected pick-up time, once we decided to ask the security guard for help since no one came back.We returned home to eat the food, and the disappointment kicked in even further when we noticed how small the shrimp and crawfish we ordered were. It didn't have the freshness we expected. We got our typical order w/ house special sauce and medium spice, and there was no spice nor any of the garlic chunks we look forward to eating lol. We unexpectedly had potatoes in our bag which was a nice surprise... but they were undercooked. The fries were all shriveled and soggy, too. :(All in all, it was just disappointment after disappointment for the SJ location. We'll likely be keeping our visits to the Milpitas location since the quality of their seafood is so good.

This location is closed but the restaurant is now called Afters Bar & Grill. My review I left on that page:This review would've easily been 4 stars but this happened more than couple of times. They still use the Cajun Crackin on doordash but the restaurant is named differently. It is either the employees are not doing their job measuring the seafood or they are on purposely cheating the customers. You guys need to do better. There is something called integrity and honesty. I went to an actual Cajun Crackin in Milpitas and when they brought out the shrimp I thought it was underweight as well. For almost $20 you'd think you'll be getting your money's worth.

Date: Friday, October 18th, 2024Meal: Late Lunch / Early Dinner DeliveryHow Ordered: via DoorDashTime Ordered: around 3:30pmTime Delivered: about 30 mins laterDelivered to: Evergreen*Shrimp (head on): Tongue on Fire, Garlic Butter ($17)*Crawfish: Tongue on Fire, New Orleans Cajun ($16)*Clams: Tongue on Fire, Lemon Pepper ($16)*DoorDash Discount (-$5)'I don't know why Yelp says this business is closed. I ordered from them via DD last week, so they are indeed open. At least for delivery thru DD.I've been craving crawfish for a while, but haven't had the chance to fulfill that craving. I was solo last Friday, so decided to bite the bullet and get some delivery. I typically get a combo of all sauces when getting seafood in a bag, but Cajun Crackin offers three different sauces and I was ordering three items, so decided to try them separately and then combine them all afterwards.By far, my favorite sauce was the cajun one. It was nice and savory. The garlic butter wasn't very garlicky and kinda watery. And the lemon pepper needed more citrus and pepper. The latter two were also kinda sweet which I wasn't expecting. When I mixed them all together, it did dull the sweetness a bit. I found myself wishing all the items had more heat. For something described as tongue on fire, my tongue was definitely not on fire. I didn't find any of them spicy at all.Weight wise, I questioned if I actually got a pound of each. I don't have a food scale in SJ, so I couldn't double check. But all bags seemed a little light. Granted I couldn't finish everything in one sitting (since I'm not one to eat a lot of anything at once), but I do wonder if they were actually a pound each.I'm not mad I tried this spot. Their pricing is pretty good and I got $5 off from ordering via DD. If the craving ever hits again, I'd stick to just the cajun sauce. It was definitely the best outta the three.REVIEW #3593

This is not Cajun Crack'n, this location is closed. It's a different restaurant called Afters Bar and Grill now. It looks like they serve Cajun seafood boil from what I saw. I didn't go in there; I just went to the location in Milpitas.

The service was good, we were unattended for large time frames at times but the lady was attentive when she would come by. However, the proportions are not good I do not think that the 1lb of mussels were actually even a full pound. We ordered a second pound that looked a lot more fuller but the mussels are extremely small. As for the shrimp basket the fries were overly seasoned and it made them too salty to enjoy. The only good thing that we really enjoyed was the shrimp, which they are pretty hard to mess up. As for the location when we went they were playing music full blast on an aux cord that was cutting out every 10 seconds and didn't fix it till 20 minutes later. Would I come again? No, however boiling crab was closed and desperate times cause for desperate measures.

The food was so so. We got the sweet potato fries and the serving they give is small. I enjoyed eating the seafood boil because the shrimps and mussels were big. But the sauce was not flavorful at all for me. It just tasted like butter. The container they give with salt and pepper had a majority of just salt which made it very salty. The service was good. When I needed something the servers were quick to help. The interior is very spacious and lots of decorations to have a shipwreck vibe.

This seafood is one the cleanest my husband and I been too. The food comes out fresh, fast, and there crab is so sweet especially in the winter. They got great combo deals and the size of the crab is totally worth it. They also got $1 oysters on Wednesdays! There service is really great. They check up on you daily and the space is a good size! Good parking. I highly recommend to come in around 5 because is does get packed. There garlic noodles are okay. I wish the portion for the noodles were a big bigger. They also offer bibs and gloves as well. But the booths, windows and bathrooms are kept clean not like most places it smells right when you walkin. They even seat big table tops as well! Definitely recommend this place to family and friends and will be coming back for that seafood boil crave!

Alright so I have been wanting to try this place out for some time now and finally had the chance to stop in.Went in today at around 3pm. We arrived and the place was empty. The restaurant name was different on menus but the decor all seemed to fit the seafood theme. I was confused as yelp lists the name of the business as "Cajun Crack'n." Anywho I asked the waitress if we were at the right place and showed her my yelp. She responded yes. So we decided to give a try. Service: 10/10 - the young Colombian woman was very friendly and attentive. Food 2/10 - everything was bland. Cajun Fries were the best part. Garlic noodles - too much garlic. Seafood wasn't hot when brought out. It was warm at best. We order 1 1/2 lbs of headless shrimp and the snow crab legs. The shrimp wasn't cleaned before boiling. The thing that caught me off guard was the fact that they don't offer free refills for fountain drinks like every other restaurant I've ever visited $129 later and I won't be back

Went here after a long day of work. This place is a whole vibe! Aesthetically pleasing and clean. Although, It was hard for me to find this place because the strip mall is pretty packed and they have a post blocking the door. The staff here are sOoO GORGEOUS and are very kind.
