"Gourmet burgers at a reasonable price!Excellent variety of toppings options. Each style is included in the base price. We got their junior bacon cheese burger ($9) and their illegal burger regular ($13). The illegal burger had lamb gyros in addition to 2x 1/3lb patties. They hand grind their own meat. They have a CBD section of their menu with infused burger patties and sides. In addition to burgers, they have gyros, shawarmas, and plates. Service was great. Nice vibe and clean interiors. "Date: 4/18/2024 Time: 4:00 PM 63° SunnyAfter visiting the Kaiser lab for blood work being done, I stopped in at Hummus Republic, which is a few doors away. I have seen their ad on the FB website. The food looked yummy. It's check in and check it out. My first time here. It took me a while to peruse the menu and decide what I want in the bowl. The choices are great from what I see on display. The male employee guided me along with my selection. The bowl starts with a base, three scoops of hummus, protein, unlimited sides of veggies and finally the dressing. My bowl was filled with Mediterranean couscous, spinach, three hummus, four falafel, veggies and traditional tahini dressing. I also added two dolmaes (additional $1.00) Make it to go, please. Cost with tax and tip included was $18.Menu is posted on the window before going in to the business. Laminated menus are available at the counter to review. There is also a menu board on the wall.I was excited to get the bowl with falafel that I forgot to ask for beets. Okay a return trip is necessary to get their strawberry lychee beverage and another bowl. What I ate was so delicious that I almost forgot to take a photo. (Senior moment. LOL, meaning Little Old Lady Laughing Out Loud)."
Rice, grilled vegetables and your choice of protein. All items served with yogurt-tahini sauce. GF, can be made DF with sub tahini.

"I ate here today for lunch. I ordered a turkey sandwich that was heated. The menu here is simple but it wasn't an issue for me. The bread plus everything else in my turkey sandwich was delicious. If your in the area or even if your not, I highly recommend this business if your craving a freshly made sandwich. The owner here is also a professional and it's clear he cares about your satisfaction.Martin"
"I'm going to be thinking about those Brussel sprouts and cauliflower for years to come.... And maybe that pistachio baklava too. I came here for a work event and so everything was buffet style and I got to try it all! The hummus was a hit, the service was top notch, and the drinks were unique and delicious."
"3.5 STARSDate: Wednesday, March 29th, 2023Time: Ordered around 1:45pm, Picked up around 2:15pmHow: via Restaurant's websiteMeal: Lunch*Kabob Meat Only: Skewers of Meat - Chicken Kabob Skewer (+$7.89), Lamb Kabob Skewer (+$8.99)*Hummus: Comes with Pita Bread ($6.39)*Sophie's Tzaztziki: Cucumber Yogurt Dip with Pita ($6.39)The hubby's brother was grabbing food and asked me if I wanted anything. My answer? Always yes! Feed me! Funny enough, he and the hubby don't really like Mediterranean, so I often don't get the chance to eat it. (I believe he ordered their Fettuccine Alfredo. Lol!) So I was looking forward to satisfying my random hummus cravings. The skewers didn't come on skewers, but they had a nice smokiness. Tho I did find the meat a little dry. Thanks goodness for my two sides. The tzatziki provided a nice freshness. I did find the hummus a little bland, but nothing some salt or hot sauce couldn't fix.Good option for Mediterranean in the Evergreen area.Note: My pix are from a meal I had back in 2020. I didn't take any pictures this time around. There is an added Beef Kabob Skewer."
"At a time when it's hard to find reasonable mom & pop style establishments hanging in there and taking care of their customers... it was a pleasure to stumble across Coffee Time! Great food, great service and great value!"
"ShaQ is a fusion restaurant! Mix between Turkish and Indian food. I've never had that combination before but I must admit it was very good. They had a variety of options on the menu ranging from wraps to platters, all at a very reasonable price.I ordered the chicken shawarma platter and it came with rice, chicken shawarma, hummus, greek salad, and a side of pita bread. For $14, this was much more food than I was expecting. Everything was very flavorful and went together very nicely. I could tell the pita was also freshly made. It was warm and soft. Definitely recommend if you're in the Santa Clara area!"
"Came to try the goibuli. Flavor was good, but not sure if I'd order again. HOWEVER!The beef cheese pancake was outstanding. The pancake was perfect, the beef flavorful and tender, and the cheese brought everything together. I've never tried cheese in scallion pancake before, and now I'm thinking this is the new norm!We also got the pork + shepherds purse wonton soup. Holy shit. I didn't think it could be better than the pancake, BUT IT WAS! The wontons had great flavor from the vegetable, and the soup was hot and fatty, with great white pepper flavor. Amazing meal, amazing price. So excited to try other dishes here. The combo plates look good. I want to try!"
"Absolutely great dinner out! Not only is it local, but it's semi fancy in there! Felt like the first date night in a while, even though we brought our daughter. Service is slightly slow, and the staff don't speak very good English, but I guess that's what makes it even more authentic lol.We ordered 7 dishes, all extremely flavorful, unique, and delicious! I'm not typically into heavy spices, but this place is worth it!So good! Will def come back again!"

This is what we needed in the area! Super tasty burger and fries! We've been here twice and both times have been so good! Tonight was the first time actually going in and the decor is a Bay Area vibe for sure and the staff were super nice and friendly! So far we've tried their pineapple burger and bacon burger as well as curly fries and regular fries. All have been super tasty! We also got some of their garlic sauce, it's soooo tasty. Definitely come thru and try them out. Next time I hope to try some of their CBD burgers or different meats. But their pineapple burger keeps calling

Oh my goodness!I was sooooo surprised when I tasted my salad/bowl; it was delicious! The way you pick a bowl or wrap, protein( chicken; steak; vegan steak; mushroom mix), sauces( up to three, I.r., feta mix, different hummus's, and others ), and then toppings galore- more veggies and crispy toppings like spicy crisp garbanzo beans(YUM!)Your bowl or wrap has a base of salad greens, kale, spinach, couscous, and salted garbanzo beans. I mean it was very easy to put together a healthy lunch. They also have fresh dropped mini samosas and pita chips that were amazing. If you like a little spice then add the garlic jalapeño sauce and the Moroccan Hot sauce. The only drawback was that it was FREEZING in there. I need a comfortable temperature in the establishment so that I can enjoy my food but I solved that and sat outside so I survived that. The young man servicing us was pleasant and helpful.I think it will he my new lunch fav- easy! $15-20

#51 on Yelp's 2022 Top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area list. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same experience that many other Yelpers have, and could have gone on an off day. It also could have been because I went towards the end of the week, at the end of the lunch rush- It's Lunch Time is only open on the weekdays from 10:30am-2:30pm. I stopped by around 2pm on a Friday, and called in my order ahead of time (they estimated 10 minutes for my order to be ready). It's Lunch Time is a small shop located in a semi-industrial area. Make sure you follow your GPS so you don't miss it! They have a small menu, but they had a lot of chips and drink options to go along with your meal. It wasn't busy when It wasn't busy when I picked up my order, and I tried their Bulgogi Sandwich (Onion, Cheese, Lettuce, Jalapeno, $14.99, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=6suH8C-eIGTp08F7ow9QnA&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg). I liked the flavor of their bulgogi, but it was a little too salty overall and slightly dry. I also didn't like the bread they used (an Italian roll?), since it added to the overall dryness of the sandwich. The ingredients were fresh though, and I would consider coming back if in the area for lunch. Their staff was really friendly, and they had hand sanitizer at the counter. Only indoor seating options were available. Parking was easy to find at the time since there were a few spots available in their shared lot.

We came to Pomella after seeing Check, Please where they featured Ba-Bite. Found that the owners of Ba-Bite closed back in 2018 due to a landlord dispute and reopened as Pomella during the height of the pandemic. Pomella is located near Kaiser in Oakland. It's in the same little plaza as Dona. We ordered two items - a chicken wrap and the chicken tagine. Let me tell you, the wrap was full of pickled goodness. I loved the pickled veggies so much - perfectly tart and crispy that complemented the warm wrap and marinated chicken. The juices that kept dripping from both the pickled veggies and the juicy chicken was so flavorful that I would take bites from my wrap and try to use the drippings as a dipping sauce. I could probably get extra pita bread just to lap up the extra juice drippings. The chicken tagine, however, was a bit bland. Maybe it was an off day, but we didn't enjoy it as much as the wrap. The couscous was the smaller version and slightly dry.

Regular rice masquerading as saffron! Glad to see another food option in this Evergreen plaza. The food was pretty good! It was funny as the man at the host stand got a personal call when we walked in for pickup, he told his caller that he had customers waiting, but proceeded to stay on the phone. Thankfully another employee came out to help us from the back. Lamb and Beef Gyro: Pretty flavorful and the sauce was a nice touch! The salad balanced things out, but the small piece of pita was somewhat stale and the hummus wasn't my favorite. Chicken Kabob: Delicious, just what you'd expect from any chicken breast kebab. Falafel: Decent, but had a harder crust than most falafels. Also misleading as the item is labeled "Falafel Balls" plural, but each order is just 1 falafel for $1.99, price is fine but wording is weird. White sauce was good tho! Sophie's has a nice dining room that was empty during lunch hour on a weekend.

This place is so cute. We stopped by for breakfast after a long flight & being sick of airport food.Service was quick. We got a vanilla latte with almond milk & mocha Egg croissant, ham breakfast burrito & BLT.First the way they make their bacon is a game changer. It's like thin and crispy and they break it up.ham burrito was interesting, it tasted good but had a pizza sauce quality to it which was not my favorite. Croissant with egg and bacon was delicious. Flakey buttery croissant panini pressed loved it. The BLT was my absolute favorite. The honey mustard is delicious, way better than the typical mayo. Bread was so good, good tomatoes too. Lattes were great, they have an espresso machine and know how to use it.

Food is pretty good here and the service is fast. The interior is a little more run down than your average restaurant but no biggie.FOOD [5/5]=========+ Gyro Combo Platter (3/5)Good portion size of gyro! The gyro was a little heavy and dry. I enjoyed the sauces and thought it was pretty tender. Unfortunately, I asked for a combo of 1/2 rice and 1/2 fries and only got fries, so docking a star. :( + Greek Salad (5/5)Really good, typical salad! Comes with banana peppers, feta cheese, an assortment of greens, and a light sauce. Good portion size. Would order again. :)

Came by for lunch the other day and it was a decent experience. Dainty Cuisine is located inside a food court between 99 Ranch market and CVS.Ordering is done at the tablet for food freshly cooked by the kitchen. The wait was upwards of 25 minutes after ordering. They have premade dishes where it's $13-15 for 3-4 items + rice and soup. There is a Gen Z manning the front of the house wearing loose size Large nitrile gloves.Started off with the beef wrap and it was excellent! The wrap was lightly pan fried, not too oily and the inside was filled with super juicy and flavorful beef. The two rolls are perfect for sharing! The shrimp fried rice consisted of 3 small shrimp over a huge bed of fried rice with egg.Dining options appears to be a free for all at any open table within the food court.$12/head after tax with plenty of leftovers.

"Great service and tasty food! Love the rainbow roll and rainbow wrap! Thanks! Looking forward to the full service dining to open up."
"I had a to-go order. I know this is a little mainstream, but the food was delicious. The tandoori chicken was so tasty. The butter chicken was okay, but the kabobs killed it. The dahl was tasty as well, as was the cauliflower with potatoes. They don't miss a beat. It was very delicious, and the service was great."
"If you're looking for a shawarma wrap that's bigger than your face, then you have to check out Shawarmaji! Starting out in Oakland, Shawarmaji is a small, family-owned, Jordanian restaurant that recently expanded to Santa Clara and focuses on offering authentic Jordan-style shawarma in the Bay Area. They're most known for their 12 inch chicken wrap that includes thinly-sliced chicken, which is initially cooked on a revolving spit, their housemade toum sauce (aka Lebanese garlic sauce), and cucumber pickles in a thin arabic wrap. The menu at Shawarmaji is relatively simple and offers chicken or lamb/beef served in a wrap or pita form, fries, and a few additional small sides. This is a great place to visit if you're looking to try authentic Jordanian shawarma!ORDER: Chicken Wrap ($14) - Chicken was really tender and I loved the garlic sauce that it came with. Although I do wish there were more vegetables included in the wrap, it was overall really good."
"Ambience: 5/5Service: 5/5Food: 5/5Vegetarian Indian fare at its best! We ordered the thali w/ naan (delicious side curries and sweets). We were completely floored by the paneer curry. I asked the waiter if they had it in a full size and they do! It's actually called the Paneer Tikka Gravy. I literally would come back JUST TO FEAST on that dish. It was sublime, the paneer was just the right texture and the curry delivered a great balance of savory/spicy/sweet. We also enjoyed the naan, potato naan and chickpea curries. Some of the curry pairings were a bit too spicy for us, but that really is just bc we aren't used to it and not bc it tasted bad.Service was efficient, polite and patient! Our waiter's name was VEEP and he did a great job explaining to us the difference between the options.Would definitely come here again!"
"This was probably one of the best Viet restaurants I've been to - overall experience here was great! Their Thai iced tea was on point and I'm a Thai Iced Tea connoisseur)! Egg rolls were light and crispy, their pho was super flavorful. Ambience is super quaint, cozy, and just welcoming. Service was decent. Will have to come back when we are back in the area!"
"How do you mix up ham with grilled chicken breast? My order got messed up , which is ok BUT the manager who was so damn condescending. She asked me to send her a pic by email, ok done BUT then says "its hard to tell" like why would I make up getting the wrong damn meat but it's cool. I just won't be going back.3 stars are for the previous times I went."
"Decided to try this place on a whim and wow, their butter chicken hits the spot! I had a nice hot lunch from here and I loved how the sauce was more on the creamier side. Their garlic naan was huge and soft which was another plus. The chicken was nicely tender as well and I'd rank this a great place for takeout!!"
"We try and make it here for lunch regularly since there is always capacity. This last time we got the Tempera and Beef Udon and shared it. The tempera was good but needed a touch of salt. The Udon was fantastic and the portion was large enough to take some home to enjoy later. We also ordered the Jacksons Roll because it would be crime not to order sushi too. All of the fish is fresh and delish. The servers are very welcoming and accommodating. I feel like this is my lunch secret spot."
"The newest, best kept secret in Palo Alto! You should be happy you're on Yelp so that you're able to know about it or you might otherwise drive right past this place, tucked into a very small retail complex on El Camino and El Camino Way. Near Goodwill.Yemenite food! Have you tried it? Well this, my dear Bay Arean, is your lucky day. The world has come to you in the form of densely delicious carbohydrates and I hope you are ready for the bike ride you'll want to take after this authentic, filling meal. The Ma'lawah bar offers two main "tracks" for your culinary experience: either go with a wrap made with Ma'lawah - a greasy flat bread that is somewhat like an Indian paratha but made out of a flakier dough OR get the jachnun. Everything comes with two side salads. I tried the beets (yum) and the hummus (more lemony than I like, but that's just a regional preference). The wraps are filled with 4 different savory options with also a dessert menu with fillings like chocolate (it starts to take on a crepe vibe at that point). They are:-sabich-shakshuka- classic (boiled egg, tomato, spicy zhug)- pizza with vegan cheeseDid I mention that the whole place is vegan?Every meal is expensive but it is made from scratch by the owner, Doreet, a dynamic and warm hostess. Seating is indoor only and decor is very minimal: the food is the main attraction of the place. I will be so happy for you once you try it. Jachnun, which I didn't bother describing because you just have to taste it yourself, is often eaten on the Sabbath (Saturday) after cooking all night. It is paradoxically a slow-food and probably has no nutritional value. But it's really good and will keep you full for a while."
"IMHOWhat a lovely surprise! We came here to redeem an In-Kind app reward, which would expire that day, and enjoyed a fabulous meal here!!!The interior was clean and bright. You can choose to eat inside where there are a few booths, and small tables, or dine outside. We chose an inside booth. We were warmly and genuinely greeted when we arrived. I ordered the Argentinian Chimichurri Steak Bowl, $14.95, and my hubby ordered the Bulgogi Bowl, $14.95. Food arrived hot and fresh and gorgeous to look at!Everything was super tasty! I loved all the fresh veggies in my bowl, and I was surprised at the yummy taste of the tofu strips!Customer service was epic! Our cashier came over later to see how we liked our food, something we didn't expect but we were happy to tell her of our enjoyment. As we prepared to leave, we were looking to see where to buss our plates. Another lady said she'd take care of it, so not to worry. Will we be back?!!! You bet!!! We highly recommend!!!"
"Best burger around! You don't usually get burgers with eggs around here but they serve it and its delicious plus Halal! The service is fast too, place is clean."
"They recently moved across the street to an even better location with more dinning space.I've been here about three times now and I am obsessed. Actually obsessed is an understatement. Pitas and wraps are amongst my favorite quick meals and Shawarmaji does it right! Everything I order is freshly made and perfectly seasoned. I usually get the chicken shawarma wrap or the Arabi style wrap with a side of fries. The wraps are served very warm which is a plus. I love that their fries have a nice crisp to it. They serve everything with toum sauce and it makes everything taste even better. I would happily return and highly recommend this place. Good for takeout too."
"Weekday dinner turned into an absolute FEAST! My friend and I decided to treat ourselves, and wow, did we go all in! The vibes here are top-tier! Cute decor, super welcoming staff, and an easy tablet ordering system. We kicked things off with their ice cream soju drinks, which seemed light and cute... until they hit us with a sneaky punch. Food-wise, we skipped the rice bowls (gotta keep the figures in check) and went for a mix of their pan dishes. The CC Pan Dish (Cocaine Chicken) + corn cheese was an elite combo: sweet, flavorful, and comforting. The pork pan dish with macaroni salad was just as delicious, and the Pig Ponzu Salad? Easily my favorite. If you love ponzu, you need to try it! The seafood pancake was crispy and tasty, but I wish it came with more dipping sauce. Also tried their skewers, which were fun to share, but honestly, a bit too much work for me. Huge shoutout to the store manager who checked in on us and convinced us to try the $5 hot sake deal. Let's just say it took our night up a notch. Portions were generous, and we had plenty to take home for lunch the next day. Definitely coming back with friends, especially since they stay open late!"
