"My favorite ramen spot in the South Bay!There was no line when I went and we were able to get seated immediately. Everything is self order through a QR code. My favorite ramen here is the spicy miso butter corn ramen and it hits every time! Our ramen and takoyaki came out really fast and everything had beautiful presentation. The waitlist may be long on the weekends but it is worth the wait! My other favorite appetizers have to be the shrimp tempura, chicken karaage, and the spicy edamame."

"My friend and I came into Kokoro Ramen for dinner. Upon arriving, there was a line, but they were able to seat us within just 5 minutes. We were able to quickly put in our orders; our food came out fairly quickly as well.I had the Veggie Shoyu Ramen, which was absolutely delicious. I am not a vegetarian, and I usually don't order vegetarian dishes, but I have to admit that, even without pork, this ramen was superb. In fact, I ate everything in my bowl, which usually doesn't happen when I get ramen!My only minor complaint is that they gave us an obviously damaged chopstick that had its end broken off. Otherwise, Kokoro Ramen is a solid choice for ramen."

"Marufuku is one of my favorite ramen to go to spots! So when they brought it down to Cupertino, I was ecstatic! The flavors in their ramen is so rich and makes each bite so delicious every time. I've tried multiple ramen places but always come back to this one. I always get their tonkatsu ramen. DX just means you get thicker cut of meat and some extra items in your bowl. I typically like thicker ramen noodles but this one comes with the thinner ones and it's actually perfect. I also always get their chasu rice bowl too. Very delicious! My friend got their chicken and it was juicy and came out sizzling! Service is always incredibly attentive. The restaurant is always clean and the decor is modern and beautiful. I came here during a weekend one time and the wait was pretty long, like 1.5hrs. Probably also because we had 6 of us but might be easier to snag a table with 2-4 people in a group. My friend was able to add our names to the list in person but still had to wait. During lunch hours and weekdays are usually not too bad. Parking can be tricky during busy hours but there's a ton of parking spaces shared with many other shops. Overall I do highly recommend. This place have always been one of the first restaurants I always recommend and take non locals to try. It never disappoints."

They have great vegetarian options but I liked the non veg rolls too. It's a small space, but we came around 1:30 pm and immediately got seated. The staff was nice and overall I would come back."

I give it 3 out of 5 because I don't think there's enough clams in there and it's not the type of thick clam chowder I like. Garlic clam (5/5) - this dish is so good!!! I love that they paired this dish with garlic bread. The clams taste fresh, and I dipped garlic bread in soup. So yummy!!Oyster (5/5) - oyster tastes fresh and price is decent!!Service (5/5) - awesome service! The staff was very friendly and helpful. He recommended the garlic clams to us and we really liked it.Environment wise, it's a pretty chill spot. "This is my go-to ramen spot in the area. I recently took my team here for lunch, including a couple of co-workers who haven't had ramen before. It was no surprise that they loved it! Everyone ordered a different one, but I always go for the pork w/ tonkutsu (sp?). The flavors are great, and work so well together. The broth... We also ordered some apps to share. The karage is crispy and light, and the chicken is perfectly cooked. The spicy edamame hit the spot, and the calamari is a favorite of a few folx on the team. We chose to sit outside on the picnic benches, where folx could grab some shade or sun, depending on their mood. The road is right there, but you don't even notice it while you're eating.The service is good, not great. They tend to run a bit more than they need to when they are busy and probably could learn something about treating the whole party as one table, and even treating their section as one table so they don't run back and forth for separate asks."

"Went here because I was craving tsukemen. Ordering is via a scannable menu and I don't know if they have hard copy menus because I was able to navigate the online menu with no problems. After my Dad and I ordered the waiter reminded us that we were entitled to a free beverage. I asked for the milk tea which came sweetened and in a paper cup but was fine.Anyway, my tsukemen came with a lot of broth but not a lot of noodles. The noodles were accompanied by two thin pieces of cha shu pork, some bamboo shoots, two overdone egg halves, a square of seaweed, and a lemon wedge. Since the broth was already yuzu-flavored I thought that using the lemon wedge would be citrus overkill.The broth was nice, if on the thin side (thinner than Tsujita in L.A. for example) but the portion was large enough to retain its heat by the time I dunked all the ingredients.A small dish of almond jelly came as a free dessert.I was not offered any dashi broth to thin out my soup.Overall, slightly above average tsukemen for the South Bay. If I ever came back, I would definitely order extra noodles."

"Good experience overall at Ramen Champ yesterday at 12:30. We looked at the busyness level from another review page online and were surprised it was low so we went for it! It's a small restaurant, but it's cozy! My husband had a craving for ramen on this cold day so I thought it was a good chance for me to broaden my food horizons. ;)Funny enough, I had never tried ramen before. It was a bit of a letdown when there was a sign on the door that Tonkotsu Ramen was unavailable, but hopefully this isn't a common thing... My husband said that is the flavor he always orders. In this case we opted to split the Shoyu Ramen. We ordered extra noodles for the perfect, shareable lunch. The portions are huge and it was great to split. We had edamame to start and I was feeling extra brazen so I ordered the fried octopus balls. I have to say the Takoyaki was not for my taste, but that must just be my taste buds because they seem very popular from reading the reviews. I appreciated the QR code to easily order and pay ahead. We opted for a window seat to have a bit more privacy and it was a nice lunch. I will hopefully be back to try the Tonkatsu Ramen since I did like the Shoyu Ramen. ;)"

"I visit Ramen 101 frequently, and it consistently delivers a great experience. While it's not an upscale or fancy spot, it's perfect for casual dining. The food is consistently excellent, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. One of the best things about this place is the variety of broth options--they offer veggie or chicken and pork, which is a rare find compared to other ramen spots that typically have just one. Since I don't eat pork, I always go for the veggie-based chicken ramen, and it's delicious every time. Their chicken karaage is also a fantastic side to pair with the ramen. If you're in the area and looking for a satisfying meal, I highly recommend checking this place out!"

"Fun place for lunch today. There are two walls of ramen choices to choose from ranging from mild to very spicy. There are also options of regular ramen options from no spice to very spicy. Lots of available add ons as well. Small selection of drink's available as well as a modest snack section. My tonkatsu ramen was very good with good bouncy noodles and flavor. The broth was a touch salty for hubby but perfect for me. Hubby said his instant ramen was cool for the experience and he appreciated the add ons as well. Service was very helpful with selecting the appropriate spiciness levels of the ramen as well as the cooking apparatus for the instant ramen."

"Stopped by on a Sunday for lunch. We were seated immediately as it wasn't busy. Service was quick and friendly. Cute little space with some tables and a bar seating area. We ordered the gyoza, Omurice, and Men-Bei ramen. Portions were huge considering the price. The Omurice was DELICIOUS. Each grain of rice was perfectly wok fried. The outer layer of egg was so thin and didn't overwhelm the rice. It was literally the size of a football. Easily enough for 2-3 people. The Men-Bei ramen was tasty and the broth wasn't too salty. Super reasonable prices, huge portions, and delicious food. What's not to love? I will definitely be back to try their other dishes."

"I was spurred to get to Itani for Oakland Restaurant Week. Since we came for lunch we didn't try the cocktails, but they looked good - maybe next time. I also appreciate that they are open all day during the week because I never know when I will get a break to head to lunch. We did the Restaurant Week menu of 2 pieces of Hamachi Sashimi, which were cut well and super succulent and the Oxtail and Spicy Shrimp Ramens. Both were very flavorful in their own way, the spice on the shrimp was not too spicy and we loved the fresh bean sprouts giving a little crunch. The space consists of plenty of tables or seats at the long bar. Servers were very nice and attentive and checked back to make certain everything was good (a lost art). Would love to sneak in for the happy hour sometime."

"I'm amending my review for a few reasons, mainly for the consumer to be discerning and have a full understanding that this place is hit or miss. When it is good (service and food) it's very very good, but when it's bad, it's horrid. Good day:Service is on point, prices are fair, and the ramen is served hot and very tasty. Bad day (actual experiences, and I've been here several times as it's my go-to ramen place)Broth lukewarm, tonkatsu overcooked and dry (today), the server doesn't ask your noodle thickness preferred and just chooses what they want, server forgets appetizer, server doesn't bring the proper drink you asked for and there can just be a lack of attentiveness from service. All that said, they offer a semi-full bar, restrooms and establishment always clean and when the food is good, it's banging. I hate that this place is so inconsistent. It makes me hesitate to recommend it to friends or take people here as I don't know if they/we will go on a good or bad day. My warning to you is to go and just pray it's a good day."

Our group ordered a variety of entrees, and I chose the seafood ramen and green tea. Seafood ramen isn't something I come across often, so I was eager to try theirs. Priced at $16.99, it included shrimp, scallop, fish cake, boiled egg, corn, green onion, bean sprouts, and bamboo shoots. The portion was generous, packed with protein, and the broth was flavorful. It was filling and I enjoyed it. My party enjoyed their entrees as well. No complaints!"

"A nice, cozy Japanese restaurant to get delicious Japanese food from!My friends and I stopped here for a dinner and we were able to make a reservation for here. For a Sunday at 5:00 PM, the restaurant was somewhat empty however more people came by throughout the night. We did family style so we ordered an array of dishes. My notable dishes of the night were the takowasa, kaisen don, and the estudillo roll. The takowasa has the perfect kick of wasabi and it was the perfect cleanser for in between meals; I've had some takowasa where it was not enough wasabi or it was too much wasabi to where I cannot enjoy it. The kaisen don was so yummy! From the plentiful ikura to the sushi rice, it was such a well balanced meal for all to enjoy, It also comes with a bowl of miso soup. The estudillo roll took me by surprise because I did not expect a lot of flavors from a sushi roll. All of our seafood tasted so fresh and for a reasonable price! Apparently, we also came during happy hour but there was no happy hour menu so we weren't aware of what we could've ordered."

"We were bummed we lost our local ramen spot at Bayfair awhile back. Fate sent us here ... we happen to be driving down Foothill Blvd and decided we would stop and have dinner here. We ordered:Gyoza appetizer- it was crunchy on the outside and tender inside. Delicious. Sashimi - I don't like sushi but the wife was very happy with it. Chicken Ramen w / spicy broth - this was soooo good. The ramen was soft and tasty and the broth was amazing. Miso Ramen- my wife said the pork was so tender and she was also very happy. It was 5PM on a Monday and the place was dead. I hope it stays open .... We will definitely come back! The only con is looking for parking around the area. Other than that.... Food is delicious."

"Ramen is good any time of year but I especially enjoy eating ramen in colder weather. I consider Juban ramen to be a hole in the wall and undiscoverable unless through word of mouth or Yelp! Juban is consistent and I recommend their tonkotsu ramen with the deep pork bone broth - it's so soothing! Two thin slices of chashu, some bamboo, bean sprouts, half soft boiled egg, green onions and chewy noodles for $16. Max capacity I'd say is about 25 people with 10 tables so service is quick. The chicken karage uses tender and juicy thigh meat but I do prefer the batter to be more crispy. All in all solid ramen place; give it a try in you're in the area."

"Food? Excellent quality and a great value! My partner had the sizzling short rib rice, and I had the sizzling eel rice. Both were taste sensations! The server was a very sweet, soft spoken young woman who advised us to not touch the cast iron bowl and to mix in the house made sauce into the rice. Even after 20 minutes, the cast iron was still hot which gave the rice on the bottom a crispy, chewy texture that we loved. The short ribs were Hawaiian style. The eel melted in my mouth. Other folks were having fried noodles, sashimi, a tower of cucumber slices, ramen, and all of it was beautifully presented. The menu is only available by QR code. It is somewhat limited in comparison with other Asian restaurants. I like that they stick with the sizzling dishes, pressed sushi, noodles and soups. Do what you do best! They do! It's delicious! Interestingly, they don't have hot tea. It was a crisp day, and I really would have enjoyed a cup of genmaicha. However, they serve a beautiful carafe of water with lemon slices. Service? The servers, and bus boy were obviously young family members. Nevertheless, they were friendly, efficient, and professional.Ambiance? This is a family friendly place ringing with the joyous giggles and screams of children, all of whom are well behaved! The decor is kind of in the style of a classy day care, but it's totally appropriate for this family eatery. We live in Salinas, and came up to drop off a car at Carvana. I searched for restaurants in Blossom Valley, and came up with MiMi's. What a find! We'll definitely come here again!"

They even included a board and markers to fill out when ordering a poke bowl, no need to recite all the different ingredients you want added.
