"Came on a weekday to order a dozen donuts. Luckily there was only one person in front of me because the service is slow. Your items are hand dipped to order. As I was waiting for my order to be dipped, 3 people came in and thr person took their order. Since I was in a rush, this irritated me a bit but there was nothing I could do... the tip didn't seem to make any difference. In any case, the mochi donuts were good. I would reorder black sesame and lilikoi. As for ambiance, there isn't much to the ambiance. You just walk up to the register and order, then stand around and wait or stare at the bulletin board."
""See you later" You have to buy before you can sample. This is an interesting concept because you'll be picking the flavors blindly. Their ube flavor is not the best. Definitely drive south for the best ube flavored ice cream! The young lady was nice and helpful. She explained the "see you later" to us when we asked. It's a normal ice cream shop. Casual vibe / ambiance. Ice cream is always good after a nice lunch or dinner"

"Knudsen's wasn't part of neither my teen nor childhood days. My childhood in the ghetto didn't have any ice cream shops. My teen years i liked BEER!Didn't seek nor know of Knudsen's @Southland mall. K's been here for years. Selling more than ice cream i.e cakes, burgers, chilis, hot dogs, sandwiches, salads, kid's meals, sides.Lenghty floor space with many tables, booths. Waitresses waiting to serve me. Looked at menu, passed. Went to ice cream counter.Licks: double scoop-cherry vanilla, rainbow sherbet (10)-generous scoops, cherry frozen stiff, tasteless. vanilla flavor faint. Sugarness overpowering.-sherbet colours(cream, orange, green, red) dazzling. Flavors nil, sugar plentiful.4 stars great value. Not my kind of ice cream. Kids will lick it to the last drip!Parking in the back."
"We've been hooked on this spot since 2020, and it's been our go-to destination for unique ice cream flavors! Yes, they're a bit pricey, but trust me, it's worth it.I'm obsessed with their Banana Brownie and Chocolate Trio (though sadly, the latter has been discontinued). Almost all their flavors are delicious, and they let you sample before you buy!Their brownies are also a must-try - perfect sweetness level, not too sweet or bland. Sharing a scoop (which is huge, btw!) with family on a Saturday night was a highlight. And let's not forget their amazing chocolate waffle! I always order my ice cream with a chocolate waffle here - it's the perfect combo!Pros:- Easy parking- Extended hours for late-night cravings- Super quick service (never waited more than 5 mins)- Nice ambience and Instagram-worthy spotNote: It's a grab-and-go spot, no seating. We'll keep coming back for their amazing ice cream and brownies!"
"Last minute decided to get an ice cream cake - we came here based on some Reddit comments and we are so glad we did! The cake was fantastic! They had some ready-to-go in the freezer. We got mint chocolate chip ice cream with vanilla cake. They even wrote a message on top for us. Everything was great - icing, ice cream, cake. Definitely our go to for any future ice cream cake needs."
"Me and my kids are fans of mint chocolate chip and love this place because they offer two flavors of mint. No one does that and that's what makes this place special. I like the mint cookie and my kids like the mint chip. The service is great and you can get samples before you buy. Great little spot in downtown!"
"This spot has been here a long time, decade or so? I try to stop by more often to support this tiny vegan shop. The owner lady is this nice Taiwanese lady who drags her retired and reluctant husband to work every day. Poor guy, great health and food but so ready to die. LOL. Anyway, the food is enjoyable. I mainly order the noodle dishes as I can make everything else myself easily. It's nice to kick it here with my dog and a book in the post lunch quiet."
"Frozos has quickly become our favorite local fro-yo spot in Santa Clara, and I only wish we had discovered it sooner. They offer an impressive variety of toppings, far surpassing other yogurt places in the area. The cookie dough is my personal highlight; it's the fresh and delicious kind. Additionally, the cake batter fro-yo is my all-time favorite. The staff at Frozos are exceptionally kind and helpful. On one occasion, when I forgot to buy milk during my grocery run, they graciously allowed me to purchase a jug right from their store. Their kindness really sets them apart. While I haven't tried their bubble tea yet, it's definitely next on my list!"
"My partner and I decided to grab dessert for our 5 year anni and we have driven past Cauldron sooo frequently, but have never tried it. We arrived around 7pm and it was pretty busy! There weren't any seats available aside from outside and there was a family in front of us, but after we ordered several became available. The ordering process was easy enough--there was a large screen where you could pick what you would like. It seems that there's a number/name system they operate by--they call out a number and then a name. We ordered a churro puffle, a S'more milkshake with marshmallow puff topping (+$1) and a Sun Moon & Stars milkshake with a shot of espresso added. While waiting for our order we were given a free puffle! Our drinks were phenomenal, watching my order being made was an awesome experience because everything is truly made fresh to order, my only critique was regarding the churro puffle, I'd love the for cinnamon sugar to be evenly distributed throughout the puffle rather than sprinkled on top."
"Cute little shop located in a strip mall. The store itself had a nice modern (albeit bright) interior. It was spotless on the day we visited. The lady manning the counter was super friendly and efficent. Popcorn Chicken: nicely fried bits of chicken that had a good crunch and good breading to meat ratio. The sauce added a nice punch. The hot here is not that very hot. For reference to my palate it was about the same as a Medium at Dave's Hot Chicken which made its presence felt but did not overwhelm the chicken. My son also ordered the coconut green waffle but I did not taste it. Ample parking and as many reviewers have noted right across the street from Costco."
"I am a hugee fan of this ice cream place. My favorite flavors are Meetha pan, butterscotch and falooda kulfi. They have a variety of flavors like gulab jamun, gajar halwa, sitaphal, Rajbhog, etc. The kesar pista and malai kulfi are good too! There are non Indian flavors too like Belgian biscuit, Ferrero rocher. They let you taste a sample of the flavor before ordering."
"This is definitely a place where you will find ice cream flavors unlike any other. Each scoop we got were so good, we did the flight which gives you 4 flavors to choose from and we just randomly picked flavors. On our next visit we will definitely try more. Everyone who worked here was gracious and accomadating, they answered all of our questions. When we went it was really warm out so we ate outside. There is plenty of parking and plenty of places to sit. Gastro Maestro Approved!!!"

Great texture and flavor on their donuts. I think the Lilikoi was my favorite. Do NOT try their seasonal poke they currently offer.

We stopped by here on a summer Saturday night looking for an icecreamy dessert. I would scoop this place up onto your dessert list because this is one of our new favorite icecream spots! We got two scoops of the Lychee + Red Raspberry Sorbet in a cup.Lychee (4/5): This one is really unique, when was the last time you tasted a creamy lychee? It's thick with heavy dairy content and so heavenly creamy that it'll just melt into a spoonful of opaque white liquid in your mouth! The sorta artificial-tasting lychee flavor vibrantly bursts through the sturdy notes of milkiness in the icecream. Rich yet refreshing!Red Raspberry Sorbet (5/5): This one has that desirable icy snow texture of a good sorbet paired with a tart, bright fruity flavor of fresh raspberries picked straight from grandma's backyard. A little bit sweet, but tastes pretty natural. Very enjoyable! Note that they don't do samples here -- instead, they have a "see you later", which is basically they'll give you a complementary fat sample scoop of another flavor AFTER you order. It's a bit unusual since the whole point of samples is to make sure you choose a flavor you like, but hey at least it makes the line move faster without that one person trying twenty different samples and still having trouble deciding which flavor to choose. The worker who served us was also super nice and friendly, even taking time to offer taking a photo of us when she noticed we were taking photos of our icecream inside.Overall, would definitely recommend giving this spot a try if you're around Palo Alto!

We have been going here since we have had small children who are now twenty something. It's nice to go back and things are still the same. It's no frills but it's old school Castro Valley as we know it.Parking is in the back.On this visit, Santa and Mrs. Claus were making a visit, so we got out in time before families came in which goes to show you how much Knudsen's represents the Castro Valley community.

I went here the other day and I got a scoop of cherry & watermelon for Italian Ice. I loved these two flavors! They tasted amazing and I honestly wish I got another scoop. This spot is hidden because it's next to a Wingstop and a Starbucks so you have to look closely. The dude that was helping me had great customer service. He helped me decide between the ice cream or Italian Ice. He let me try the flavors before picking the one I wanted. It's definitely a grab and go place. You can sit down and eat your ice cream or Italian Ice but the store has a really pretty set up. I would definitely go back here and try out their ice cream next time!

Found this place I think 2021-2022, really like their flavors and hometown feel to it.Their ice cream are slightly thicker than others. It almost reminds me of Turkish dondurma. Doesn't melt as quick neither, which is awesome.I accidentally snapped my plastic spoon trying to eat it.You'll need to take a number if you want the classic ice cream service of being able to sample flavors over the counter. But if you know what you want, you can order from the large tablets in the corner. I was able to skip over a fairly decent line and had my order done in literal seconds going the tablet route.

The best dark chocolate ice creams I've ever had. 100% recommend this place. The service is great too, the servers are friendly and smiling while helping you pick the best flavor.

"Very clean nice customer service one person very dry the other very upbeat Food was good and decent and a nice place for kids to hang out in the back ... seems like for teenagers..nice options for drinks and milkshakes and boba.. my son enjoyed it and I would definitely go back they are open a bit late than some"
"Love the food! Service is reasonably fast and cooked to order. Wish there was one closer to where I live. I wish they had curries but they only do BBQ style. The place is fairly big with plenty of seating, but can get busy quickly at times. Love the tandoori chicken spicy, but normal spice is good too, beef bihari, chicken kabobs, Lamb Chops, chicken malai and garlic naan. The vibe is chill with music in the background sometimes. Can't wait to go back!"
"Well made gelato, delicious seasonal flavors, and they have a cute chocolate fountain used to drizzle chocolate over your gelato. Perfection with a wafer cookie. Bring my kids and big kid (hubbie) here regularly for an after dinner treat."
"Icey Poki serves both poke AND rolled ice cream.PokeMy poke order was pretty good. Everything was fresh and you get a good variety of toppings, seafood and the portion size is filling. I ordered spicy tuna, seaweed salad and a bunch of other add ins. The price higher because inflation but it was a good poke bowl and I thought it was worth it.Rolled Ice CreamI wasn't a huge fan of the rolled ice cream. I thought it was less sweet and didn't have the creaminess I was looking for in my rolled ice cream. For me it wasn't a highlight when I stopped by. They do have a good toasted marshmallow. It's possible I had a bad roller though"
"Stars: 3.5I've been eyeing this place and finally got to try it today. You get two samples per person. The ice cream shop serves unique Indian inspired flavors. I ended up getting one single scoop of the guava with hint of chili. I enjoyed the flavor and texture but it was the tiniest scoop I've ever had. I feel like I finished it in less than two minutes. I was sad that it was gone so quickly! You need to spend a minimum of $10 to use credit, so good thing my husband always carries cash. The staff helping us were friendly. The shop itself is cute and clean."
"Wow! Did not expect this place to be open/so good. It's in the same spot where Little Giant was in one of the apartment developments near Uptown. Cute interior and equipment is out for the public to see. Service is nice- mostly kids but no one was rude when we were there as they were closing. They have a very wide selection of ice cream, from Shrikhand (Indian saffron yogurt flavor) to Middle Eastern coffee/cardamom. I ended up with the cookies and cream flavor, which was delicious! Definitely worth trying if you're in the area!"
"It's on the lower end of five stars. It hits all the right notes for me. Good location both in terms of where I am when I want to go for icecream and being by just enough parking. The service is friendly enough. The selection is just large enough. They have seating. Their packaged take home ice cream is a notch above safeway (or wherever else you go to buy ice cream). They have a mix of choices for how your ice creams served. They have outdoor seating, which, if you're out at night in Oakland is usually what I want. It's not flashy but it hits the spot at a reasonable price. If you are regularly in the area and haven't tried Humphrys it's worth it. If you're visiting Oakland I wouldn't trek far for it over, say Fentons, but I wouldn't trek choose if if you're in the area over making the drive to somewhere else (which I can't say about some of the competition)."
"I initially thought this place would be a gimmick with their rose shaped ice cream but I was wrong. They have a variety of unique flavors and they all taste amazing. The ice cream is super smooth and creamy. The puffle is fresh and warm. The milkshake was smooth and not too thick. Would come back again to try more flavors."
"I've been to Macs by Icky 3 times in the past 2 weeks. The drinks are good, and the pan de sals are perfect for the mornings. I tend to prefer sweet drinks, so the Honey Latte and any of the Ube drinks are up my alley. The Pan De Sal bread is always soft, and they're the perfect size for you to be satisfied. The staff is always friendly and pretty quick to get your order out. The place is clean, and there are lots of tables to enjoy your food. Sometimes I have trouble parking in the plaza, especially on the weekends, but there is a small lot in the back and Macs is on the end of the street"
"Fruit was ripe and perfect. Rompope paleta was a wonderful texture. Service was efficient and helpful! Sat outside and appreciated their clean little tables. Thank you!"
"If you have sweet tooth this ice cream shop is a must visit. My wife and I went here after yummilicious dinner with tummy full almost exploding. I still wanted to satisfy my dessert cravings so decided to stop by nirvana. Awesome place and amazing ice cream flavours. Next time I will try their Falooda and other single scoop flavours like pan , chocolate and vanilla. Service is fast and place is clean and spacious with decent amount of parking lot. Definitely worth trying here for ice cream cravings"
"Authentic Afghani ice cream. Good and quick service. Relaxed ambience with a lot of family people visiting as regular customers. I loved the serving portions and taste is simply too good."
"This has been my go-to place for frozen yogurt for the past few months. I've tried tons of their flavors, but my all-time favorite is the graham cracker cheesecake. I check their website beforehand to see what the flavors are, since they typically do update it daily! Their vanilla/choco combo is also good for a basic default if you don't like any of their flavors. You can also sample!! I don't have any complaints about this place because their small serving is pretty big in my opinion. A small is $8-something, which I think is super worth.Service has been good every time I've gone, so I don't have any complaints about that. My only complaint is that the pricing for the misc things like a cone and toppings is a little too much... if they lowered that I would probably have a better experience so I could try more things. My bf recommend their smoothies as well! Maybe I'll try their ice cream one day."
"You already know i came for the Strawberry Dubai Chocolate! The crunch from the Kataifi ! The Sourness (and sweetness) of the Strawberries mixed well with the sweetness of the chocolate and pistachio spread. Glad i came to try it! It was $18 +tax I arrived around 5:45 on a Tuesday evening and there was about 3 people in front of me. By the time it came to finish paying , there was a line behind me. About 6:15 there was already around 10 people in line (i'm assuming they came for the same thing!) (Looks like they also sell the chocolate bar for $25 )"
"Adding on another beautiful cake from Cakes & Bakes! This bakery has been my go-to for custom orders for years now & I recommend them to anyone with 100% confidence. Love their skill and delicious flavors. Thank you, Mohan and team, for consistently baking such wonderful cakes. Looking forward to more in the future!"
"We stopped by Saturday night after our dinner. The staff was friendly and welcoming even though we came in close to closing time. Let me tell you, the pistachio ice cream was the best I've ever had. It was creamy and buttery. The Rose Saffron was unique and also very refreshing. Definitely stop by for some of their unique flavors!"
"Service was pretty quick and standard since you just get how much yogurt you want. I came here specifically to get their 8 oz cup and luckily, the server asked me if I wanted that exact size and I said yes! There were free sample cups for you to try what you wanted and the flavors I got were the pistachio, strawberry and pineapple. Their pineapple flavor was inspired by the Dole Whip soft serve you get at amusement parks and it tastes the exact same! just healthier. All the flavors I got were really good and did not taste too sweet. I do appreciate that most of the flavors included the nutritional value as well. Will definitely come again!"
"We were hungry after our flight with no snacks so we came here for cookies and ice cream. They are warming up our snickerdoodles like it's not hot enough outside lol Delicious"
"Very friendly staff. Quick service. I ordered the Strawberry Passion fruit Green Tea with Lychee jelly. It was so good! The menu has so many options. They also have a stamp loyalty card so make sure you don't lose it. I'll be back to try more!"
"I tried the Brownie Fudge Sundae and it was overwhelmingly delicious. The brownie was warm and soft to eat as it was perfectly complimented with the ice cream. The employee that made the Sundae for me actually happened to be the manager. Her name is Parneet. She is honestly genuine and friendly. Not only that, I could see the concentration and love she puts into what she does. If you have a sweet tooth just like me or casually looking for a place for some dessert, CrèMe Paris is a hidden Gem. There is a variety of unique desserts to choose from!!! You will not regret coming here. Whatever tasty desert you order will be made to perfection!!! Thanks for reading ;)"
"I was craving some ice cream after dinner, so I decided to pay Paleteria El Plebe a visit. One scoop of cookies and cream ice cream was $4, and the scoop was MASSIVE (hence the extra star). But the ice cream itself was not good at all. It tasted like a mix of freezer and Dreyer's ice cream, which I absolutely did not like. I'm pretty certain they don't make their ice cream in house unlike other palaterias. I also arrived at 8:40pm; they took me as their last customer and shut the door afterwards. Their Yelp and hours of operations on their door says they close at 9pm though. From what I'm reading in other reviews, I'm guessing they close and open whenever they want to?"
"The go-to ice cream place in downtown Redwood City! The service was great, the only employee there was very patient with the big party. There is a lot of personality inside the ice cream parlor. You can smell the freshness of the ice cream mixed with waffle cones as soon as you walk in. This place provides different flavor options compared to your typical Cold Stone or Baskin Robbins. This place serves a great purpose and will definitely be back for more dessert after dinner!"
"First, I'd like to mention that there isn't a clear area to park near this establishment. I think general public parking is out in front in the main road (Mission). It is very spacious in this boba joint. The lighting is spectacular esp when I visited during the day. I came in on a day that was a bit before the actual opening celebration so the crowd was pretty thin. I ordered the Taro Potted Plant after being greeted almost instantly as I entered the door. I took the boba waiting time to explore the bathroom area. You need a key to get into the bathrooms and have to walk out towards the back of the shop, through a hallway of different doors. I think more signage can help here but I think the restrooms are not private to just Tea Villa customers. Seemed pretty clean to me.After I got back from the bathroom, my order was ready in just a few more minutes. The order in front of me was for a family and multiple drinks were made for them. I received my boba order and the cup was clean. It was very Instagramable so I did have to take time to take a good picture of my order. The mural was an amazing backdrop for it.I did the usual mixing/shaking of the boba before popping the plastic top with my straw. My first sip was okay and I felt like I needed to mix some more. Mind you, I asked and received an extra portion of taro chunks in my boba order. So it was a chunky boi but I was a big fan of the textures all around. The sweetness level for a taro-based drink was just right for me. The ingredients did not feel cheap and the flavors felt healthy/light to me. It was a pleasant drive home with my boba. I'd order this drink again.I'll be back at Tea Villa more often than I think. Will do my best to try other items on the menu. Maybe even the food!Mahalo,@gerosan_adv"
