"This is my coffee stop whenever I'm in the area. Who knew a solid coffee shop would be located attached to a church?! There's so much comfortable seating inside and seating outside. I've had a their house drip coffee and lattes. They use Verve beans (love it!). The staff are so friendly and kind and usually ask how my day is going which is such a small thing but not because I remember it and makes it such a positive experience."
"My friend and I had strawberry and dragon fruit. They didn't have an option for type of crystal boba on the kiosk or I forgot but the main cashier register wasn't work, so I paid again to add boba.Nice ambianceThe taste of my dragon fruit drink was a little flat for sweetness so maybe next time I'll get 100 instead of 50%. This place is my go-to for boba with friends. Generally very chill and good vibes and clean."

"I was craving an almond croissant and found this place on Yelp. The almond croissant only has a sprinkling of almonds on the top! Nothing inside!!! Just tastes like a saltier version of a Costco croissant. Also misshapen as you can see in the photo. Took it home and ate it with cheese as it was salty. Also got a chocolate croissant. This was also high in salt. It took several bites to get to any chocolate. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that when I finally got to the chocolate, it was nice and creamy not hard chocolate like some. I'm a self admitted croissant snob as it's one of my favorite breads/ pastries. This place was a 'no' for croissants"
"I ordered blossom jasmine milk tea, and it was pretty good. Customer service was pretty good since drinks came out quick. The shop also had a lot of cute decorations so if you're in the area, definitely check it out. It's also one fit he few boba places that open late at night"
"I will always ruin my sleep schedule for some Viet coffee at any time of the day. When on Story Rd I just had to convince the group we needed an after dinner drink.... and not the alcoholic kind. Luckily we ate our way into a food coma down the street at Banh Cahn 3 Mien and needed caffeine. We ordered the egg coffee and muoi. Both were so deliciously caffeinated. I was up all night from this coffee and had no regrets.SJ is so lucky to have this spot! Maybe it's for the best that SF doesn't have this spot, otherwise I'd lose all my sleep."
"We ordered cupcakes for my kids' birthday party. The whole process was completed via email, quick and straight forward. The cupcakes came out as expected. The frosting to cake ratio was a bit more than I remembered but didn't stop anyone from consuming it all. Overall it's a good go to if you need some decent cupcakes last minute."
"Despite the Cupertino location going viral, the San Jose location is actually the original that I have been going to since high school. Izumi Matcha is one of my favorite matcha places in the South Bay! They use my favorite Matcha, marukyu koyamaen, which they also sell - though it is typically sold out. My favorite drinks here are the honey matcha latte and yuzu matcha. The honey matcha latte is solid all around, and the yuzu matcha is perfect for hot days as it is refreshing and citrusy. A plus about this matcha place is they also provide the option for a free additional matcha shot if you like your matcha strong. I also get less sweetness and less ice. There is no sweetness adjustment for the creme brulee matcha which is personally a little too heavy and sweet for me if you also have the same preferences. Last time I was here, I stopped by after dinner on a Monday, a small line started to form, but the staff seemed well prepared for rush and service was relatively fast. The ambience here is fine - I have heard a wide range of different music genres here that is probably based on staff. I give this location 4/5 though because going to both San Jose and Cupertino locations, however, I personally found the quality of the San Jose location's drinks to be slightly lower than the Cupertino location. I'm not sure why since this is the original location but it's been hit or miss. That being said, the San Jose location is also much less crowded so there typically isn't a big wait time. I like how there is seating at the San Jose so you're able to sit down and hang out with your friends here, which isn't available in the Cupertino location. The San Jose location seems to also have more items on the menu such as taiyaki. Both the SJ and Cupertino have ordering via a kiosk and their own 8% cashback loyalty program when purchasing with your number"
"My SO wanted to stop by this quaint bakery to get me a birthday cake. He got the mango mousse cake and it is so beautiful, I loved the way they decorated the cake and it was so soft, fluffy and not sweet--which is my ideal taste for desserts. I ate practically a 1/3rd of the cake haha. Some friends also got some cookies and those were tasty as well. They had nice textures and consistencies and were lightly flavored since I am someone that typically avoids cookies."
"I get Ume tea here and there and even through doordash. The prices are always so cheap and decently priced! Even though it is cheap it is very very good! They also have these cool "blind box" kind of cups called surprise cups which include some small stuffed animals. There are two kiosks that you can order from and a cashier as well. Ordering is super easy and quick. There is a order status TV inside as well. The area is very bright and pink! The place is as clean as I can see it with some seating."
"Simple homestyle meal! Quick service and humble ambience. Will be trying the menudo next time!"
"Going here for 30 years! Since school daze:)) .... real coffee spot !!Hi Mahesh! Hi Myrna !Gigis the best ! GREAT Pastries, White Mocha,Espresso ! & Polar caps to go'!"
"This is my go to spot if the traffic is heavy and I need a good place to study, take a virtual meeting, and get yum y food and drink. I usually get a hot chocolate here and I got a ham and cheese sando which may seem strange for morning breakfast, but it hit the spot! Will come again!"

Still obsessed with this spot. The menu is limited but all the coffee is amazing. I usually opt for the flash brew. So smooth. I don't have to add anything to it. The service is always kind and quick. The line can get really long on Sundays so be patient! It's a small part in a big area full of seating and tables. I see people studying, working, and just enjoying each other's company in the seating area. I always stop by either before or after I go to church. If you're inclined, you should check out one of the services! You're welcome to bring your coffee in :)

After going here many times, I finally tried one of the cakes... I don't know why I waited so long. It was so smooth and light!I love the variety of drinks, plus the endless build-your-own options! You can use a self-order kiosk or place your order at the counter. It's a great place to hang out and yap with friends. I've even seen people study here.

For Christmas my friend bought my family and I this fruit tart.Yes, it looks like any other fruit tart, but wow, it didn't even last 24 hours. We demolished it. Did I mention I'm super picky about crust and custard? Well, this fruit tart knocked it out of the park!Perfect crust, amazing flavor, and once again it didn't even last 24 hours because we ate it all.The fruit was fresh too, just so you know. This should be a holiday tradition, eating a yummy fruit tart for the holidays!5 stars delicious!

Lychee watermelon jasmine tea was delicious! Also my friend got a drink with the surprise toy, and when she didn't like what she got and asked to switch, the workers brought out one of each toy and let her choose. 10/10 customer service

Hands down the best Vietnamese coffee in the Bay Area! This review has been a long time coming, but I'm finally getting to it.My go-to summer drink is the Coco Freeze--I get it at 75% sweetness, and it's perfect! Surprisingly, it's not too sweet even at that level. My other favorite (almost every weekend) is the Muoi, a Vietnamese coffee with salted cream. The consistency here is impressive--every drink is just as good as the last. The shop itself is pretty small, so it's not really a place to hang out. But they make ordering super easy through the Square app. The drinks come out fast, so if you're about 20 minutes away, I'd recommend ordering when you're around 10 minutes out. They do refrigerate drinks if you're running late, but if you're like me and hate melted ice watering things down, this is a good tip to keep in mind!

Saw place from a close by parking lot and decided we had to stop in to look at the cupcakes. It was nice to see different flavors that I don't normally see at cupcake places. My friend and I were intrigued by the rose velvet but I ended up getting guava delight and she got the raspberry lemon cooler. We both enjoyed the cupcakes they were super moist and flavorful and cheaper than some of the cupcake chains.I also got a chocolate chip cookie that I really liked.

Its been one my friends fav matcha places, but I never checked it out before it became viral. Decided to finally join the hype and check this place out. The lines are def shorter at this location compared to the other one.I got the creme brulee matcha swirl and it was goooood! I def get the hype for this as it's one of my fav matcha brulee places now! I only went once, hopefully it's still good whenever I decide to get it again. My bf got the lychee matcha tea. He's not a matcha fan, but actually enjoyed it so this is a huge compliment from him hehe.Parking lot can be busy. Not much seating inside for now as it's busy/crowded. But still not as bad as the other location.

When you first enter, there's the beautiful display case of cakes -- look to your left for hidden gems: cookies. We enjoyed the mango cake and napoleon, but instead of celebration treats, I want to highlight the cookies that pair perfectly with cozy tea on a cold morning. As a reference, if cakes are 100% sweetness level, these cookies are 15-25% sweet.Ali was friendly and considerate in selecting and recommending a variety of cookies. His service is the best I've ever received at a bakery :)My favorites were the apricot and raspberry butter cookies that have wonderful airy crumb, the delicately thin raisin cookie, the unique textured almond cookie, and the sugar twist cookie (didn't note the exact name).

"Knudsen's wasn't part of neither my teen nor childhood days. My childhood in the ghetto didn't have any ice cream shops. My teen years i liked BEER!Didn't seek nor know of Knudsen's @Southland mall. K's been here for years. Selling more than ice cream i.e cakes, burgers, chilis, hot dogs, sandwiches, salads, kid's meals, sides.Lenghty floor space with many tables, booths. Waitresses waiting to serve me. Looked at menu, passed. Went to ice cream counter.Licks: double scoop-cherry vanilla, rainbow sherbet (10)-generous scoops, cherry frozen stiff, tasteless. vanilla flavor faint. Sugarness overpowering.-sherbet colours(cream, orange, green, red) dazzling. Flavors nil, sugar plentiful.4 stars great value. Not my kind of ice cream. Kids will lick it to the last drip!Parking in the back."
"Been looking for a banh mi shop in Campbell area and stumbled upon Yummee! I saw the sign and figured why not give this place a try! I got sandwich #1 with the cold cut and pate! The restaurant name is very well deserved because yummy was the first thing I thought when I bit into the sandwich. Soft bread center, but still a toasted on the outside, fresh bread. Delicious pickled vegetables, and the meats are so fresh and tasty. Super fast and great customer service too. There are a couple of small tables inside and a couple outside (great for the upcoming season, especially since it's starting to warm up). I also wanted to commend how kind the staff were because the owner's husband called her and told her to tell me I had a flat tire, I had no idea. She was really kind to let me know and then I was able to get a tow truck. She let me stay inside and sit while I wait since it was chilly. Super grateful for the kindness that was shown and I can't wait to try their bo kho and grab a couple more banh mis to go next time :)"
"Picked up a dark chocolate mocha this morning. Hit the spot!Thank you for my beverage and helping me to start my day off right."
"Omg..my first time trying butter chicken. I figured I'm in California I've got to try it before I leave. It was DELICIOIS!!!! Chicken was tender, gravy was DELISH, the garlic naan bread was to die for!! Lentil soup had a hint of spice that my pallette appreciated. The lime soda was really good and even the rice pudding was good (I don't typically care for it).Treat yourself when you are in the area!! It's delicious!"
"Pop Up Tea is hands-down my new favorite boba spot! The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the coziest vibe and friendliest staff. Their drinks are delicious & Who doesn't love a boba shop that's Instagram-worthy and tasty? They got a area decorated with cute Christmas decor where you can take selfies The menu has such a fun variety, and everything I've tried so far has been amazing! Their house milk tea is perfectly sweet and creamy, and the egg pudding is also a great topping. I also love their avocado smoothie with ice cream so creamy, like a sip of happiness! What really makes Pop Up Tea stand out is the little details: thoughtful customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay and sip all day.If you're in San Jose and craving boba, you have to pop by Pop Up Tea. It's a total 10/10 experience every time!"
"I used to go there often when I was in college, but now that I'm not nearby, I can only visit occasionally. However, their popcorn chicken is still just as delicious. To this day, I haven't found one that tastes better than theirs."
"I've heard about this place for several years but only got to try it recently. I was feeling overwhelmed with all the options available and ended up consulting the cashier for recommendations. After asking me what my preferences were, he recommended me the Pistachio Jasmine Dream (seasonal drink), which I got with oat milk (no additional cost!), less ice, and less sugar. Boy, was it a good recommendation! I love it when I can taste the tea flavor in my drinks, and I could definitely taste the jasmine and the floral hints in this one!! The pistachio cream was also delicious, and gave the drink some creaminess and a hint of nuttiness.I've heard that this place is sometimes not consistent with their drinks, but I personally had a great experience when I visited! There's ample seating inside and the interior aesthetic is clean, warm, and modern -- perfect for studying or catching up with friends!"
"I can't speak to how good the coffee is however I had the funniest experience asking about their matcha here. I typically make iced matcha lattes at home and have not found a good spot when ordering out.Me: "Hi, what brand of matcha do you use?"Barista: "The organic kind"Me: "What brand? Do you know the name?"Barista: "Yes"Me: "Okay... what is it??"Barista: "We can't share"Me: "Why?"Barista: "Because we want to keep it mysterious to our customers"Me: "Mmm okay, how many grams do you use per drink?"Barista: "We use a scoopful"Me: "Okay, like 1 tsp?"Barista: "I'm not sure, maybe a little more"For those who know matcha, I'll leave it at that. If a store cannot share any detail about their matcha to me it infers it must be of a lower grade or quality. I'd give the matcha latte a 3/10. I asked for extra matcha and oat milk which made it tolerable. It was dull in color with a slight bitter and astringent after taste."
"Super cute & cozy coffee shop in Downtown Los Gatos. Great service, amazing menu (I got the non caffeinated rose & saffron tea), and great seating. Also, their hours are fantastic - always a plus when a coffee shop stays open in the evenings! Street parking may be difficult but you can park at near by lots scattered across Downtown Los Gatos & walk over."
"If you're in the heart of Burlingame avenue, Caffe Central is a must visit spot! That definitely holds its weight when it comes to delicious food. It offers something for everyone with their variety of breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. Not to mention their irresistible selection of pastries. I got the breakfast bowl after spotting it while walking past the restaurant and every bite was satisfying. Plenty of shops around to walk to after that add the overall experience. I'll definitely be back to try more of their offerings. Giving it a 4/5 only simply because the service could have been just a tiny bit better but it seemed to be a younger staff so I wasn't too worried."
"Drinks: THE SIZE FOR $6 IS SOO WORTH!! I'm so used to boba costing almost $10 for the same size!! Reasonable price and fast!! Next time I have to try their snacks! The cookies looked so big and good!!Service/Ambiance: I think it was the owner working when I went, but whoever she was, she was so nicee!! I saw a lady accidentally spilled her drink and she offered to remake it for free. And I thought my milk tea came with boba and she offered to remake it too!! Super friendly customer service!!"
"Overpriced insanity I ordered an everything bagel with bacon and cream cheese. I was charged $1 to toast the bagel (which was the start of the insanity.) I was handed a cold bagel barely toasted (it was barely warm) and ONE SINGLE piece of bacon. I paid $9.45 for absolute nonsense and I'm furious. I won't ever be back."
"A Hidden Gem for Coffee Lovers! We stumbled upon this place while craving coffee after a heavy meal at another restaurant in Palo Alto. Tucked away in a cozy spot, it's accessible through an 'Insta-friendly' walkway between two beautifully painted mural walls--a hidden gem in every sense. At first, I assumed it was one of those trendy spots that people flock to more for the aesthetics than the actual coffee. But I couldn't have been more wrong. Our group ordered a variety of drinks, and everyone loved what they got. The service was friendly and prompt, and to our surprise, there was plenty of seating. While their signature brews feature some unique craft coffee blends, I went with a classic cappuccino--and it did not disappoint. Bold, flavorful, and beautifully presented, it was everything I hoped for.I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!"
"Food is AMAZING - the Persimmon Toast is a seasonal item on the menu, and we were lucky enough to try it out! It tastes SO GOOD - I would definitely come back again just for the toast. The atmosphere was nice, I think it has awesome decor, but the spaces fill up pretty fast. I came on a normal weekday at 9AM (one hour after they opened), and we barely were able to find a spot to sit down. Also, half of the spots here don't have an outlet, so it's hard if your device is low on battery. In any case, definitely recommend the place! The workers were really nice to us even though it was my first time here, so I took my time when looking at the menu and placing an order :)."
"Very cute cafe in a very simple-looking strip mall. Coffee shop-esque with lots of trendy decor and plants. Very kid-friendly with little toys and a small play corner. Prices seemed a bit high, but everything was good. Pastries were yummy and they have a good assortment of coffee drinks. Presentation of everything was really nice."
"This is the best local coffee shop around, with fantastic baked goods made at their other store and homemade breakfast. And they roasted their own coffee beans as well!"
"I found this location from doing a little recon for a good breakfast burrito in the area. We stopped here first for our caffeine fix. The space was open, clean and staff was friendly. My husband and I ordered the Tahitian Vanilla Latte. SUPER yummy. I'm pretty basic when it comes to lattes. My go to is vanilla but this one was simply delicious. Flavoring was subtle and coffee was super good. Husband also ordered and apple fritter that was SOOOO GOODI also picked up some mini alfajores in a ready to go container to take to my sister. Another big win. I recommend stopping by here."
"I decided to come here after work to focus on writing an essay. I arrived around 4pm and instantly noticed that it was crowded. I started scanning the not-so-big place to see if I could sit anywhere. There was a long communal table and a free chair in front of a man, so I asked him if I could sit, and he kindly nodded. I put my stuff down and headed to the restroom (which was clean! Thank you!). I returned from the bathroom, saw an empty table, and moved since I was waiting for my husband to arrive. I tried to log into wifi, but there was no sign with a passcode, so I asked, and the manager said the wifi password is on the receipt after you purchase something. I told her I hadn't bought anything yet, returned to my space, and logged into my hotspot. I wasn't quite ready to order anything yet. About twenty minutes later, my boo arrived, and he ordered a coffee and sandwich while I stepped outside for a phone call. When I returned, I tried his coffee and was inspired to order the same thing. I asked him what it was, and he told me macchiato, so I went and ordered a macchiato and was presented with what looked like an itsy-bitsy cappuccino. I said um, I tried to order what my husband ordered, and this is not it. I looked towards him, and they said oh, that's a caramel macchiato. I asked if I could get that instead, and they said I'd have to pay for the new drink. I said it was an honest mistake, especially since my husband's first language is not English, and the employee said no, so I turned into a Karen and asked for the manager. The manager specified that it was my bad and couldn't do anything about it. I tried to explain about the honest mistake and him not speaking English well, so she then resorted to charging me the difference, which is fine.I honestly refrain from complaining or causing a scene; the thing is that tiny macchiato was like two tablespoons of espresso with some foam on top--tiny. It was bitty, and I would've drank it, but it tasted like tar, and I wasn't in the mood for tar.I paid the difference and got my new drink, and I swear you'd think that I had just asked them for twenty free drinks...they were so annoyed by me. I almost didn't want to drink the coffee because of the bad mojo, but I blessed my cup and drank it anyway. Instead of writing my essay, I am writing this review, and in this time, I've had to use the bathroom again. This time I noticed a sign on the hand dryer (no paper towels are provided) that says to not dry your hands with toilet paper. Um...I will dry my hands with TP if I want to."
"This was such a pretty cafe! I was in dire need of a matcha anything in the area and chose to stop by here! They have kiosks at the front for you to place your order and then your number is called. It would have been nice to see someone and order, BUT also after traveling, it was nice to just get in and get out.I ordered their Dirty Matcha Latte with boba. I ordered with just 75% sweetness, but I probably could have gone down to 50%. This was still VERY good and even though it's very chilly and windy, it was still refreshing."
"Was in the area and in the hunt of a good matcha latte.Saw this on Yelp and had pretty good reviews, I decided to give it a try. It's packed inside and a good amount of people studying / chit chatting. I got the iced white matcha latte (less sweetened) and it was really good! Not too matcha overpowering but just the right amount. I also got the ube coffee, that one was pretty good as well.I would rate :matcha latte: 7.5/10 - was pretty solid but not super great and amazing.ube coffee: 8/10 - the ube was sooo good with the coffee / very nice blend."
"Food is good service is good. But $7.00 for iced coffee.. its already premade. They just pour it in a cup for you. Seems high. I guess thats how it goes now, everything expensive. The premade sticky rice with chicken and sausage was tasty and pretty cheap still. Smaller portion and no wait time."
"Mints & Honey is a popular, sunny, counter-service cafe and brunch spot featuring creative waffles, toasts, pastries, drinks, and more. The toasts were all built on a crusty slice of Acme bread, and the selection of toppings included Albacore Tuna Melt (tuna salad topped with melted mozzarella), Prosciutto + Fig Jam, Creamy Mushroom + Egg (baby bella, ricotta, soft-boiled egg), Applewood Smoked Salmon with cream cheese, and my favorite, Curry Chicken (curry chicken salad with grape, mango, cashew). We also tried some waffles including the Berry + Yogurt Waffle, in which a light, sweet, airy waffle was paired with yogurt topped with strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and homemade granola. Perhaps the most photogenic plate we ordered was the Applewood Smoked Salmon Platter, which came with smoked salmon, ricotta, a soft-boiled egg, red onion, capers, dill, and mixed greens salad, which you could assemble together on wedges of waffles. Overall, the food here was photogenic and tasty, though quite expensive for what it was."
"This shop is connected to a gas station, but once inside you'd never know it. There's plenty of seating inside and a decent amount of parking available outside. There was wifi so I stuck around to do some work and had a fun time listening to the music play on the speakers. The cashier was sweet and patient with me as I decided what to order. She recommended the bacon & cheese mochi waffle and I'm happy she did because it was the perfect little pick me up and only $3. It is small so I'd recommend getting 2 if you want a treat (it's also so cute, shaped like a corgi!). I ordered the honeycomb latte at 75% sweet - I have a sweet tooth so at first I didn't think it was sweet enough, but once the honeycomb dissolved it was perfect. This place is definitely a hidden gem."
