"Personally I have not gone to this place, but my coworker brought me some pastries and they are to die for, I have been in a strict diet but pastries are my weakness so I will consider it as my cheat day well only to make space for the pastries, since she could not made any decision going to Ada's she brought 3 different ones and I am glad she did, she got blueberry scone, cinnamon roll and blueberry muffin.Blueberry Scone: The moment it hit my mouth I was speechless Oh!! My!!! The last time I had something so amazing don't quite remember, but this one hit the spot and I slow down to leave the last piece for last.Blueberry nut muffin: Not as quite as the Scone but I am a pecan kind of person and I love muffins so this pastry was great not as amazing as the first one but tbh the scone takes 1st place. Cinnamon Roll: I am not a cinnamon kind of gal but this sure surprised me, the first bite was out of this world specially with the cream on the side, I always imagined it super sweet but no on the contrary it was easy to eat and no remorse while eating it. Now this was an exceptional experience with these 3 pastries but I need to visit this place in person so I can try other ones that I bet are as good as these ones. If this pastries are amazing I can just imagine eating them at the spot right from the oven and in a homie feeling, I will definitely try to visit this place very soon. But for now I will enjoy them, thank you for the hands that prepare them you guys are amazing"

"Great bean pies. I buy these pies every chance I get at the Hayward farmer's market The owners also have a store on East 14th street that I will visit soon"
"Very good treats and even sweeter service! I've always felt like Alameda was missing something in the bakery department and Mrs. T's totally fills that role. Everything tastes homemade and small batch. The first time I popped in, I was with my 11 month old daughter and she dropped a bib. A few weeks later, I popped back in and Mrs. T asked ''Is this yours?'' And there was my baby's bib! I couldn't believe she saved it and remembered it was mine. I love small businesses with small town owners like this. I'll enjoy supporting this small business. :)"
"Always my go to Torta spot. The portions here are HUGE. The price seems a on par for what you get. I got asada while my girl got a Cubana. We both only ate half and saved the other half for dinner. And to be honest I think that's all I ate that day. Service is speedy for the business no more than a 10 min wait tops. The atmosphere is lively and the smell of fresh bread makes you enjoy the wait."
"Cookies yes, yes and more Yes's please! These cookies although many try to claim are overrated are definitely delicious. They melt in your mouth and leave you wanting more. My family and I like to order the 6 pack box and get one of each that we all love. My favorite being their classic pink sugar however that was before I knew when you ordered the chocolate chip they service it to you warm! That right there is genius! We were literally fighting over the chocolate chip which is an overall classic fav. The stores are small but welcoming offering really great photo ops! I really enjoy the atmosphere of their stores just so cute like every pink lovers dream!"
"Very cute cafe in a very simple-looking strip mall. Coffee shop-esque with lots of trendy decor and plants. Very kid-friendly with little toys and a small play corner. Prices seemed a bit high, but everything was good. Pastries were yummy and they have a good assortment of coffee drinks. Presentation of everything was really nice."
"I visited this place for the first time even though I go by pretty regularly on bike rides. It provides a good counterpoint for dessert to the taqueria at the other end of the strip mall. Perhaps that's what Ruby had in mind. It took me a minute of watching the regulars to figure out what I was doing. When you go in, you grab a tray and some tongs and pick out what delicious treats you want to buy and take home with you. My wife got choco flan, and I got a lovely looking croissant with some kind of filling. Both treats were very good. I would never have thought of putting flan on top of chocolate cake, and it was a bit of a taste adjustment but I ended up liking it quite a bit. The croissant I had was filled with vanilla custard and it was also very good. The young men staffing the counter were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend."
"While I was grabbing some lunch at Whole Foods, I noticed there were a couple local vendors set up in front of the entrance. One of those vendors was Franci Cakes. I initially wanted to pass up this temptation, but then I saw some of the most unique cupcake flavors that I couldn't pass up. There was a green coconut Vietnamese waffle flavored one with an actual piece of pandan on top. After being captivated by this unique flavor I went for their 4 cupcakes for $10 deal. In addition to the pandan cupcake, I went for their churro, cookie dough and red velvet oreo. Each one of the cupcakes were super moist and delicious. These flavors are so perfectly executed that they can definitely take first place on Cupcake Wars. Hopefully this small vendor can take their cupcake business to the next level and get themselves a retail spot so that I can enjoy these cupcakes all the time!"
"Easy to orderFast Courteous Delicious Perfect level of sweetness We will be back!"
"Noelle's Yelp Notebook 2024Post Pandemic Chronicles Dear Croissante,I first fell in love with you at your original location in Santa Clara for so many reasons. The first reason I fell in love with your Santa Clara location is simply for the fact you have the most delectable sweet pastries, savory pastry items, and the most amazing items for lunch like your salads and burger. The salad dressing was so amazing I wish you bottled and sold it. Your Santa Clara location is a spot where I'd meet family and friends. When I heard about your Los Gatos location I was so happy because you're extremely close to home.I wish you had your savory lunch items at your Los Gatos location. I know it's probably difficult because it's a smaller location. Yet, please consider having a few lunch items. It would be my one stop shop- my favorite pastries and a sandwich to go :)I came here yesterday after lunching at Steamer's Grillhouse. It was great to see Kaitlynn from your Santa Clara location. Excellent customer service. The ambiance is lovely- the delicious pastries in the beautiful glass displays.I bought pastries for my family and they loved them!!You're a great addition to the town of Los Gatos.I'm excited to try the stollen. In the words of the Dashboard Confessionals song, 'Stolen,' - 'You have stollen my heart :)Love in 2024,Sweet NoelleNoelle's NotesGreat pastriesAmazing customer serviceA favorite in my Yelp Notebook"
"So happy there's a new bakery in the area! Took over the former Valerio's in the Island Pacific supermarket. They have such a unique variety of pastries, breads, dessert, cake, and more! A lot of items I have never seen in other similar Filipino bakeries. Will have to come back to try them all. I was kinda overwhelmed by how much stuff they have, I had a hard time figuring out what to try first! The front counter area by the register also has some options of different samples to try that are precut into smaller pieces. I ordered a fresh Taho which comes in a plastic cup. The size is pretty big, like a medium sized iced drink cup. For bread, I bought the Hopia Pastillas, Monggo Loaf, and Cream Loaf (toast). The Hopia is sooo good. Not very sweet at all! They accept cards as well and have a rewards program. Interior decor is nice and welcoming!"

If y'all don't know about Ada's, y'all should -- because they got one of the BEST coffees around town. They are locally sourced and get the most organic beans, and make the BEST pastries. And best of all, they are a 501(c)3 non-profit social enterprise running in the heart of Palo Alto. I work at Cubberley not far from Ada's, so I have been coming by often and supporting. A big shout out goes to Kathleen, the owner and founder of Ada's Cafe -- she's absolutely humble and very caring at every customer. She goes above and beyond in support of not only the neurodivergent community, but also for the communities in need in Palo Alto. I ordered a 16oz latte with whole milk on a Friday -- and they honestly served it with SO much love and so much belonging. It truly felt like I was at home, but 10x better. The beans had flavor, and the whole milk wasn't overly saturated. I also appreciated how much love and consideration they put in the croissant sandwich as well, because the ingredients were fresh and not too sweet or too salty at all. It is located next to the Palo Alto Library, and they do close early at 4pm. There is limited indoor seating, but there is a variety of things you can choose from. I would definitely recommend supporting a local business like Ada's and having your bestie brunch dates here too.

ESSJ often gets a bad rap as it's long been considered the so-called "bad" area of San Jose. But even in a slightly sketchy area like McKee and Toyon, you'd be surprised at the gems that can be found. Anh Son is one of those gems.I had wanted to come by here ever since I read Robert C.'s review. Yesterday morning, I finally hauled @$$ and arrived first thing at 7am. First off, don't think for a minute that this is the kind of bakery where you can casually walk in, order pastries and coffee, and sit down with newspaper in hand for breakfast. There are no seats. There's no glass case with pastries, bread, etc on display. From the front to the back of the store, all you'll see is racks of bread and other freshly baked goods. The prep/baking area is in the back.Anh Son is essentially a bakery that bakes bread and whatnot for local restaurants, cafes and other eateries. But they also sell to regular customers, like you and me, who come in during their hours of operation. It's a perfect opportunity to get really, really fresh bread. As I walked in, a man sitting in a chair behind one of the racks stood up and grabbed a paper bag before I even said one word. After quickly examining the racks in front of me, I selected two croissants (big ones at that) and two french bread baguettes. My total? $2.70. That's right. You read that correctly. The croissants were $1/each and the baguettes were 3/$1. Dirt cheap. I paid in cash and left.I had one of the croissants as part of my breakfast yesterday morning and the other this morning. They were absolutely delicious and very light and airy. The baguettes were still soft even after one day. Bottom line, don't let the fact that this bakery is located in ESSJ distract you from the freshness and high quality of their wares and the ridiculously cheap prices. If you want to actually sit down and eat, you're best off going to The Coffee Cup just a few doors down. I think they're owned by the same people who own Anh Son. Also, bring cash. I'm pretty sure that they don't accept credit/debit cards or checks.SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES.5 stars all the way

Baby Bean Pie opened where Creative Sips was in E. 14th. Eatery. Mostly inside seating. 2 tables outside. Decor no changeOfferings: savory/sweet/hand pies, creamcakes, drinks, fish hoagie, cookies...Bites: free samples cookies on Friday. PassedOrder at counter, pd, food brought to table in 15 minutes.Baby bean pie sweet (3)-crust tasted the usual graham style. Navy bean filling smooth, taste probably same. Not eaten forDecadesFish Hoagie (13.50) with house made wheat roll-whiting filet had skin, a few small bones. Decent size. No flava due to it's light batter friedness. Great comfort food sensation from mix of lettuce, tomatos, tart pickles, red onions & flavorings of mayo, black pepper, & spices. 4.5 stars. street parking Difficult at peak hours.

If you haven't tried Treats by Mrs. T yet, what are you waiting for? :)Some of my favorites are the: 1. Signature Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookies, 2. Classic Crispy Treats, and 3. Funfetti Cookie Bar with Brown Butter Frosting.None of these tasty treats are ordinary (but they are all addictive). The ingredients are obviously high quality and utilized by someone who has mastered the nuances of baking for maximum flavor. The buttercream, in particular, is melt in your mouth delicious, and I look forward to ordering a custom cake for my next birthday.I highly recommend supporting this local small business that is both woman and BIPOC owned, whether you are treating yourself or gifting some sweets to friends, clients, or colleagues. The professional packaging and excellent customer service are a bonus.

I like their steak, MilaNesa. Kind of pricey, but it is good. I don't like the melon drink with lime. It made me sick, but the pastry was good.

Very cute cafe and bakery in the Los Gatos/Almaden neighborhood. Easy to find parking and decent amount of seating indoors/outdoors. Would recommend getting here early (before 11AM) on weekends.Loved the decor and fancy dessert display case. I ordered the Strawberry Rose Latte and avocado toast. The latte came with little bits of flower on top, and was delicious; on the sweeter side. The avocado toast was also tasty; presentation was solid on both. The pickled radishes were a nice touch.Great place for a coffee date, light breakfast/brunch, or afternoon tea.

Like any other bakery that offers conchas and various types of bread, smoothies and coffee. Their always a line but it moves pretty quickly. This review on their tamales. My coworkers took me here and this is probably my favorite tamales place now. I tried all theirs tamales and I can't pick a favorite. Their tamales are made fresh everyday and they sell them from 6am till they run out. The tamales are super flavorful and a little spicy. They offer green and red sauce. I bought one home to my husband, I was surprised when he said he liked it, he not a tamales person. They also serve it with sour cream if you like. Their tres leches cake is also amazing!!!

"GREAT FROZEN CHINESE DUMPLINGS HERE. If you have frozen dumplings on your grocery list don't get them from the grocery store, get them from here. Review is only for the frozen dumplings and not their baked goods. They taste fresher, the skins are thin, and it's bursting with fillings. They are located in the freezer on the right side when you walk in, they will be in black takeout containers with clear lids or in bags. They were almost sold out around 2:30 pm which means tons of people are buying them. Some pricing for the ones we bought:-Pork wonton = $6.99-Shrimp, Pork, Chive Wonton = $7.99-Shrimp, Pork, Chive dumpling = $x.xx (forgot pricing)The dumpling we pan-cooked gyoza style with oil and did the other half boiled. Both were really good and tasted home-made and fresh, like something an older relative would make.Wontons same high quality, very good in leftover chicken soup on a cold day.If you've never been here it's inside the Lion Market, just look for Lion in the plaza and walk in, it'll be down the entrance walkway on the left."
"The Biscoff Tiramisu is amazing. I also had their coffee Americano. There is seating outside if you want to eat what you purchased. I think the owner served me and she was really friendly and nice."
"They made a beautiful and delicious cake for my son's first birthday at a very reasonable price. We went with the taro pudding filling and it was a big hit with our guests. The cake was a little heavy so the gentleman working even helped me place it in my car.I Facebook messaged them a photo I found online with a few tweaks and they were able to replicate the look I was going for. If you have a very specific vision for your cake then I would suggest making a rendering of what you want."
"High end bougie patisserie! The pastries all look like works of art in display.Black sesame croissant was slamming! It was filled up with sesame cream that oozed out when you bit into it. Service was good. Lots of people in line to eat pretty pretty pastries."
"Such a cute Persian place. This was our first time having brunch in this cafe and we loved it. The outdoor seating is so cute and cozy. They designed it like a traditional Persian restaurant. They have a mixed of American and persian brunch menu (no alcohol). We had Haleem, kake pache and avocado toast. Everyone was happy with their order.I do believe the prices for some of the menu items like avocado toast or their home made jam is high. Which unfortunately is a pattern I have noticed in Persian eateries/supermarkets in Bay Area."
"I am originally from downtown Los Angeles where you can find a panaderia every few blocks! I was so happy to stumble upon Delicias! For a moment I felt like I was at home. They have all the panes you would imagine like conchas, quesadillas, bolio, and more panes dulce.Very friendly owner and fresh bread!"
"LOVE THIS PLACE. I always go here before I go to work. They work pretty fast so if you see a line in there, you don't have to worry too much bc they work QUICK! I usually get their chicken salad, tuna salad, or the western bagel. Personally, my all time favorite is the tuna salad. They also serve some sweet treats like brownies, cookies, smoothies, so if you feel like you need something sweet with your food, I def recommend looking at their bakery items! It's your typical bagel shop, the ambiance looks and feel homey and not a lot of decor in the place. Will always come back here whenever I crave a bagel before I go to work!"
"Usually the sign of a long line means for a bakery means great food and they did not disappoint. I think I've tried almost everything here at this point, the demi baguette, country loaves, focaccia, croissants, etc. You literally cannot go wrong with anything. Above all, the fresh focaccia is a must-try. Some might not call the focaccia as it is, and I would partially agree with that. It's more like a Detroit-style pizza with all the extra toppings they have.Don't be daunted by the lines!! Definitely worth a visit."
"Wow !! Their cakes are always so fresh !! One of the nicest bakery in Fremont. They have a variety or breads and snacks, but I mostly go for their cakes. They generally dont keep cakes ready, but prepare fresh for you in 15 mins. Their mousse is melt in mouth. Sponge so soft and fresh. We always enjoy their chocolate and Mango mousse cake. They staff is always nice and friendly.I ordered a special cake for my Sister's baby shower and that turned out perfect. Would always recommend their cakes."
"Wow quite the display of bakeryPurchased a guava cake for my Bestie Grabbed some iced cookies as well Everything was absolutely deliciousGreat customer service Lots of parking in the parking lot Definitely worth the stop if you are in this area"

"I had heard such good things about this bakery, but the truth is that I don't ever find myself in Oakland in the morning. However, here I was walking on Grand Avenue on Friday around noon. The door was open, and the sandwich sign was out. There was already a steely woman with two boxes of baked goods. I was just hoping she left something for the rest of us.I quite like the idea of a female-run bakery that serves goodies with a dim sum twist. There are no cafe tables in here, so I decided to get three things to go. The first was the $5.25 Lilikoi Milk Bun sprinkled with black sesame seeds and shaped like a concha (photo: https://yelp.to/Z05tT9fmFP). The passionfruit provided a nice tropical zing. The second was the $2 Thai Tea Mochi Bite (photo: https://yelp.to/TZ_f96CKSI).It was definitely a bite much like a mochi mini-muffin. Quite good but you probably need a half-dozen to be happily satisfied. I have to say the most satisfying item was the $4.50 Ube Cookie still soft and warm from the oven (photo: https://yelp.to/vnCitixzu9). I think it was really a combo ube-coconut cookie which frankly made it even better. There are other delectables to try next time like croissants and an okonomiyaki danish. Music to my palate.FOOD - 5 stars...nicely crafted and quite delicious dim sum-style baked goodiesAMBIANCE - 4 stars...nice space, no tablesSERVICE - 4 stars...polite, a bit minimal due to waiting customersTOTAL - 5 stars...unique enough to seek out, for sureRELATED - Exploring Oakland? "Outstanding for custom cakes. I sent an inspiration photo from a rather high maintenance client and got timely and helpful communication back from Rebekah. The final product looked perfect and also tasted delicious!"
"Great pastries, cake, buns, and breads available for purchase. Bae and I normally swing by here on the weekends to pick up a few savory and sweet items for lunch. It's pretty easy to just pick and choose what you want. They have some staples that are always there, and they'll also have more seasonal items when available (notably lots of mooncake options during mid autumn festival). No where to sit inside, so you'll just have to take your goodies to go.There's a parking garage nearby, and the cashiers are efficient and polite enough. My favorite goodies are the rose lychee cake slice, the taro bread, and the chicken curry puffs!"
"Reviewing the Churro Cart. I stopped to get my carry out order at Guadalajara Taqueria next door and I saw the churro cart. I've not had to many churros before, actually only once. Jack-the-Box doesn't count. So had to try!Thank lovely señorita made it on the spot. Frying in hot oil, then coating it in cinnamon sugar, and injecting the caramel inside.Goodness! I ate it right in front on the cart. The caramel oozed into my mouth with every bite. Mucho bueno! I was tempted to get another one however, I didn't want to ruin the experience. Señorita said the cart is open daily. I will definitely return!"
"I really enjoy checking out small mom & pop shops and I discovered this bakery while waiting for my car's oil change service. There were both sweet and savory pastry options: $4 each or mix n match 3 for $10. I chose the chicken stuffed pastry, guava and cheese pastry, and the coconut bun. All items were delicious, light, and crispy with each bite. The guava jelly was sweet but overall still good especially with the cheese combo. These pastries satisfied my cravings for a quick snack. They accept credit card with a $0.50 processing fee. Also, they speak a little English and it certainly didn't stop me from selecting what I wanted and asking what's inside. The gentleman at the cashier counter was very kind and helpful. The ambiance is small, casual, and cozy and had a few tables inside for dining."
"We love going here on Sundays at the Newpark mall farmers market. The nicest folks with a wide range of delicious baked goods. Baked fresh that morning, the cakes, danishes, muffins, and breads are all great so go get whatever sounds good!"
"This cute little bakery shop located on State Street in Downtown Las Altos makes the best monkey bread in the entire Bay Area! What is monkey bread you ask? Imagine a kouign amann on steroids! More buttery. More sugary. It's crispy and flaky on the outside and moist and soft on the inside. Each piece of the monkey bread breaks off into little small bite sized nuggets covered in the perfect mix of caramelized butter and sugar. Pop one in your mouth and be ready to be in pastry heaven. If you're coming on a weekend, be sure to show up early as they sell out quickly!"
"Located in the plaza where Lion Supermarket is. The storefront is smaller than the one on Barber Lane in Milpitas, but service was incredible. I purchased a mocha cake for pickup on Christmas Day; thrilled and grateful that they are open. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted. The 2 ladies working that day were cheerful and sweet. We were the only ones in the store, so we were helped right away. I showed the lady the email confirmation and the rest was history. The process for ordering and pickup, the design of the cake, and the moist and decadent flavor reminded me so much of the bakery that is now closed. I have been searching for a long time for a mocha cake. The bakery that closed is called, "Thanh Bach." Sheng Kee's cappuccino cake was so delicious and light. The frosting, fluffy. Gave me nostalgic memories. I cannot wait to order it again for my mom's birthday."
"Thank you MR. KI you are a life saver to me. It was my daughter's 2nd birthday and I was not aware of any bakery out here who would bake customize cake, then luckily I found your bakery. I was bit confused and skeptical regarding my order for the birthday cake. The cake was soo amazing and it tasted so good that all of my guests even took name and address of your bakery."
"WOW I love you, Paris Baquette! Your cakes are the best! Light, creamy, fluffy, perfect for my taste bud! Your Green tea cake, strawberry and banana roll cakes, and blueberry cream cake are among some of my favorites!! I love the plenty of pastries options here as well!!!! The cream puffs, Croissants, Crème Brûlée Buns, Mochi Doughnuts are absolutely delightful! Your Macaroons are so Great! Love the blueberries Pistachios, Strawberries, and chocolate Flavors!I cannot wait to try other cakes and bake goods items here, Paris Baquette!!!"
"The best French style bakery I have ever been to.The olive bread knot was amazing. It's all good."
"We always enjoy Crumbl offerings. Today we picked up dessert for a small dinner with friends. We got four so that the four of us could sample several cookies. I ordered ahead and thank goodness I did. A soccer team descended just before we arrived, but because I placed my order ahead of time, I got most of the cookies I wanted. Word to the wise: Saturday is the last day of the week for them and they are closed on Sunday, so this is when they were most likely to run out of stuff. They had run out of semi-sweet chocolate chunk cookies, but they substituted mini cookies instead. We also got fudge brownie, cornbread cookie and peanut butter crisp. They were all moist and delicious, as we have come to expect from Crumbl. When all you sell is cookies, you have to do it right, and they do! The service is friendly, and the store is always clean and pristine looking even when there is a flurry of activity going on behind the counter."
