Bonchon

This Korean fried chicken is so good with the spicy sauce! Never been here before, but I'll definitely be back. The owner came over to me and made sure I was happy. The food was tasty, the owner's attentionWas great and the ambiance was clean and appeasing. Great stuff Bonchon!!Keep it up.

We recently visited Bonchon while in the area. Although the food was decent, the service left much to be desired and left a bad taste in our mouths. We had two groups ordering, total of about 6 of us and in total we spent about $100. It was such a nice day that we decided to order To Go as the server taking our order said there was seating available outside by 85 Degrees. While waiting for our food I went outside to check out the space she told us about. It was not seating with tables and chairs, basically patio sofas and low coffee table. With that said, we decided to eat in the restaurant.While waiting for our food our other group had gotten their food and were seated at a table where we all were all seated waiting for our food. They decided to eat indoors with us as well. As they were eating one of the servers told them they couldn't eat inside because we ordered our food to go. I thought I misunderstood so I let her know the seating outdoors did not have chairs and tables. She continued to repeat herself saying because we ordered To Go we had to eat elsewhere. It wasn't like they were packed, and had no tables available and they didn't have people in line waiting to order, it was 2:30pm, well past the lunch hour. I said we would like to change our order for dine in. She said we couldn't do that and again said we had to take our food and eat elsewhere. At his point, I'm super confused and explain to her between our two groups we spent over $100 and wanted to eat indoors. Again, she said we had to eat elsewhere because we ordered "To Go". WTH?! If she gave me a good reason on why we had to eat elsewhere, it wasn't communicated. I'm not sure what I was missing, but was so annoyed that we waited for our food, which took another 10 minutes. In that time our other group had already opened their bags and started eating, but when we got our "To Go" bag we all left. Even more frustrating, is the fact that we had already tipped them for our To Go order. While I don't mind giving this food chain another chance, it definitely won't be at this location. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I haven't been to Bonchon in awhile so I figured let's go there for dinner. It wasn't packed at all on a weekday evening. It's located in the Stoneridge plaza across from the outlets. There are various restaurants (mostly Asian) and lots to choose from! Anyway, we were ready for some Korean fried chicken.Seated right away waiter came by with menus. Decided to try the fried rice plain (didn't add any meat to it) it was quite pleasant with lots of flavor. Size was kind of small but that's okay. Also ordered a 10 piece wings soy garlic. I thought it was too saucy but other than that, it was good.I noticed other tables were ordering the bao buns and tacos. Might have to try that next time. I feel like I always get the chicken wings but I definitely want to branch out to their other items.Nicely lit dining room with Kpop playing and the service was excellent. Will definitely be back again to try other menu items.

Noticed this spot while next door on my milk tea run. The wings pictured were so enticing, we had to check it out.We decided to dine in and ordered the medium combo, 10 wings + 5 drums, half soy garlic flavor and the other half Korean BBQ, with a complimentary side of coleslaw. We also ordered the seasoned French fries and pork buns.The wings are certified! They're big, juicy, crispy, and full of flavor. So delicious! The fries were perfection, seasoned nicely and just the right crisp level. The pork buns were delicious, too. Nice portion of meat and crunchy veggies.Service was wonderful! It got really busy after we were seated (all tables full except one), but our food came out fairly quickly, and our server still managed to be super attentive, friendly, and with a smile the entire time.

My favorite Korean fried chicken restaurant! The wings and drumsticks are always perfectly crunchy. My favorite is their classic - the soy garlic. It packs a good flavor and makes me want to come back for more. The tteokbokki here is solid and they give two crispy potstickers and mozzarella with it too. The service here was alright. They don't provide exceptional service but they get you what you need without being rude. The restaurant's also in a big plaza so you can walk around after having a big, delicious meal at Bonchon!

Considering ordering Bonchon takeout?I ordered takeout through DoorDash on a Sunday evening. Our order was ready when we arrived.The food itself was decent. We ordered the Bulgogi Fries, Bao Buns, Half and Half Chicken (soy garlic and Korean bbq).Bulgogi Fries: Meh - Visually amazing but the flavor was slightly underwhelming. This dish does not hold its heat well so if you're planning to take bonchon togo, I would suggest a different dish.Bao Buns: Meh - I got the pork belly meat option. These were also slightly underwhelming. There wasn't much sauce at all and the amount of meat in each bun was pretty small.KFC: Yum - I ordered the boneless half soy garlic and half Korean bbq chicken. This dish was amazing. Loved the flavor and retained its heat decently so you can take it togo.Coleslaw: Meh - I got this as a side for the chicken. It's nothing special. Just your average, not super saucy, coleslaw.

If you love fried chicken, this place is your jam! I found this place by accident and its pretty good! I like the Korean fusion twist and if you ask for spicy it actually lives up to the name. I ordered the boneless with half and half Spicy and soy garlic (delicious) with a side of rice and kimchi. I also got an order of Korean tacos just to ensure that I could try as much as possible. That was pretty good as well. It was mid day so I really didn't get the chance to indulge but one of the things I liked about this place is that although it's a Korean fusion place it offered Korean Beer and Soju.

Came here just for the fried chicken. It was incredible. Bone in and boneless, both great. Can't wait to go back. Delicious. Perfect description of heat levels.

Just ordered delivery directly from their website. FYI - there's a $5 delivery charge but just ends up going to DoorDash anyway, so if you have DoorDash, might as well just use that. Not sure why they just don't say that or direct link to DoorDash. I got the seasoned fried zucchini. I wouldn't order this again just because like half of them or more were sliced too thin so it seemed like too much breading on those. Unsure why they can't uniformly cut em a quarter inch especially since it's clear they use a mandellin. But they were cooked well and the dipping sauces are good. I also ordered the drumstick meal that came with 2 drums, 2 potstickers, and donut with dip. Only comment is the drums were not the crispiness of kfc this place is known for. Not sure of that crispness of more so present for wings only. Flavors were good tho. IMO soy garlic is the only flavor worth ordering. Order of rice and kimchi is normal and reasonable portion.

I've always really enjoyed Korean fried chicken and I had high hopes for this spot hearing decent reviews from friends, though I found the food underwhelming and would not come again. We came around 4 pm in the evening and the store was not very busy with only a couple others dining. The service was quick to get us seated and took our order, and the food came out shortly as well. The atmosphere was casual and giving fast food vibes. The three of us ordered the mixed combo of fried chicken and the bibimbap to share, though when the chicken came they told us that it was half soy garlic and half with the hot chili flavor, which we did not order (expected to get the Korean BBQ instead). When I brought this up, the server seemed a bit flustered and said he meant the latter, though when we tried them it was clear from the taste that they've made the wrong order. This aside, the chicken itself wasn't very enjoyable as the chicken was extremely dry and oily on the inside, while the fried layer was brittle and lacking strong flavors. The tendons of the meat were very stringy and the fat of the chicken skin was clumpy as well, which made it a questionable eating experience for me. The bibimbap was very subpar as well and tasted very bland, similar to cafeteria food. This meal was not worth the price, and I believe one is better off finding these foods at other Korean restaurants.
