My friend/coworker had introduced this spot to me a while back and it was definitely worth trying. This place uses real ingredients and no strange powdery situation in the milk-based drinks. I have yet to try their fruit teas.DRINK: If you're not sure what to order, I'd go with the basic Assam Black Milk Tea as a baseline. I ordered this with oat milk substitute and 50% sweet. If you prefer your drinks to be a bit sweeter, I'd bump up the sugar to 75% sweet.FOOD: I felt adventurous that day, and ended up ordering a Grilled Chicken Banh Mi as well. So so good! This sandwich + a boba milk tea was the perfect pairing for a delicious lunch!PARKING: Only street parking. If you go on a non-weekday, you may have a better chance finding some street parking. I usually only venture out there if I'm in the area. It's also only a couple blocks from the 19th St. Bart Station if you really need a boba fix from the Boba Binge - Uptown location, and don't want to deal with parking.SERVICE: Lightning fast! I usually just order online and pick up. Highly recommended!

Food the pork banh mi I was given was sausage patties. I never had it like that before any where I've had pork banh mi. I did not enjoy it.ServiceThey were busy but efficient.A customer told me I could order at the kiosks. The young man handing put orders and manning the front counter never told me that even when he looked at me standing there. Later I saw him taking people's order at the cash register. No biggie. He was pleasant when my food came up and he handed me my order.Ambiance see photos. Small location with 4 to 6 barstools at a raised counter facing outside. Three two person tables inside

Boba binge doesn't miss!Got the honey genmaicha milk tea w/ boba and the summer sunset w/ added mango stars, and both were yumazing. Just really solid, strong, consistent tea and toppings.Went in around 3:30p on a Wednesday and it was pretty busy! Took maybe 10-15 minutes for our drinks due to the sheer amount of customers there. Most of the customers also ordered from the cashier, but I prefer kiosk due to the photos and avoiding the cashier line. Very green interior like their other location in Chinatown.Overall, I can say with confidence that Boba Binge is my new favorite boba place in the East Bay!

Amazing boba binge location! The inside is a little small but there are a good amount of chairs and the menu has a lot of variety in food and drinks. I got the honey brown rice milk tea with crystal boba. I didn't make any adjustments to it and it tasted perfect to me. Unique but comforting milk tea flavor I definitely want to get again! Service was great as well.

And it's still amazing. Been going here for about a year now at least once a week. I need to do better about checking in. They have great milk tea as well as amazing smoothies and waffles. I do enjoy the Banh mi, there are better Banh Mi in Oakland but not uptown. The service is 10/10, the staff is awesome. Love these guys, love this place. They also have been doing a great job about being open according to the posted hours. Which was one of my concerns for awhile shortly after they opened.

A decent place to get your boba fix! I normally get a Jasmine Milk Tea or anything matcha! Their Bahn Mi's are also pretty delicious and the service is good. It can get busy at times for lunch but overall it's a good spot.

I saw that Boba Binge was offering an Oakland Restaurant Week special for a Vietnamese pandan waffle and choice of assam, jasmine, or tie guan yin milk tea for $10, so I decided to order ahead via the phone to get this and I picked the assam milk tea, 25% sweetness, no boba. The person who took my order had said it would cost $0.35 extra for the boba (this was not listed in their VisitOakland webpage for the ORW special, though) and I forgot to request adjusting the ice since they didn't ask me about this either. The waffle was decent, I wish it was a bit crispier, but it's a fairly large size. Pandan isn't very strongly flavored to begin with, so I can't really taste much different compared to a plain waffle, though I see the greenish tinge. The assam milk tea is nice and rich, slightly bitter and almost savory, so I feel 25% sweetness is a good level if you want to really taste the tea. The cup size is decent as well.

Admittedly came here two days in a row because it's that good. They have pretty extensive menu with teas, coffee, and food. You order on a touch screen menu and can customize your selection. During busy times you can order pretty quickly since they have two screens.I've tried the rose lychee tea and coffee milk tea and both were amazing. Flavor wise this place does it correct. Haven't gotten the food yet but the ban mi looks delicious.

Despite the name, I elected to not order boba and stuck with a combination banh mi ($8.50). The sandwich was made with fresh ingredients, house made mayo and house made pate. My biggest gripe was the at the bread was very toasted and tasted kind of hard. I would have preferred the bread to be softer so the eating experience was more chew than chomp. Overall, a solid sandwich. There is also shared outdoor public seating which was clean and occupied by other lunch goers. The online ordering process was very straight forward via square. Service was also friendly as well. In short - good lunch place and I will need to add a drink next time! Yummy Certified!

Recently stopped by with a co-worker and was presently surprised by the variety of ceremonial matcha flavors available - Uji, Mango, Strawberry, Brown Sugar, Red Guava, Sesame and Blueberry. Tried the sesame which was really good ! You have the option of selecting the level of sweetness and I chose 50% which was a perfect mix. You can also select different toppings (too many to list here). I've since been back a second time and got another one. Will be back to cycle through all of the flavors and possibly try some of the many food options (bahn mi, spring rolls) !
