This is a long overdue review. We went to Bob Sang Korean several times over the years but mostly for their AYCE dinner. They have a decent-sized parking lot but now shared by popular businesses like Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co, Joyful Dim Sum Bistro, etc. However, it seems they no longer offer this and have combo sets and ala carte individual dishes. But we always had them cook our meat in the kitchen so we wouldn't have to hassle with cooking the raw meat. This was the first restaurant that introduced us to...Corn Cheese: Crunchy sweet corn w/melted cheese on top. That was so good. Both the BBQ Galbi & BBQ Chicken were marinated well and tender. The beef had some fat which helped with the juiciness of the beef.

Bob Sangs used to be my favorite AYCE KBBQ place in fremont. We would go there for every special occasion in giant parties of 10.They have since remodeled the restaurant a bit. Since Covid they have not brought back their AYCE menu, but they have new combo meals. The combo meals are for 2 people and more than enough to keep you full! We supplemented the combo with a seafood pancake but thats just because we love the pancake. Their corn cheese is also the best in the area. I really enjoy their amount/variety of banchan too!! Service is always fast and efficient. Comparable to other local korean places.

New management! Came here to try some classic Korean dishes along with some of the Chef's recommended new/special items. Everything was pretty good! Highlights for me had to be their Volcano Jeongol (lots of meat & veggies in a mild spicy broth), the Spicy Dak Goo-Yi (spicy bbq chicken), and their Mackerel Seaweed Pesto Kalguksu (this was November's monthly special so I don't know if they'll be serving this again). I thought it was really cool that the chef who has a French and Korean background prepares a special dish every month. The Mackerel pasta was so good! Umami and fishy but in the best way. Banchan here was all excellent. Galbi, bibimbap, and mandu soondubu were solid but not the best I've had.All the workers were so sweet and always checked up on us to see if we enjoyed the food. They made us feel like little kids at grandma's house lol. I like the cleaner more modern feel inside the restaurant. A really nice space for a casual meal!

I really like the rose tteokbokki here, although recent couple of times they haven't had it (I will be sad if they never have it again). The galbi here is good too, and they have bbq combos for 2 that could easy feed 3 with the amount of food they give you. The tofu soup here is personally not my favorite but it's still decent. They also give you a variety of banchan. The restaurant is in a plaza so I've never had an issue with parking or getting seated.

Came her with a large group on Saturday for lunch. We were the first people there so we were seated right away. We ordered 3 of the special combo BBQ that came with beef ribs (galbi), beef, pork, and chicken. It was nice to have a variety of different meats especially if you have a big group that likes a variety. It came with a vegetable pancake and jap chae. We opted for corn cheese, tofu soup, and bean paste stew. One of my favorite things was the vegetable pancake. It had the right amount of crunch on the outside and softness on the inside. My favorite entree was the beef rib. It was by far the most flavorful and tender. For the group I was with, the beef ribs were finished first. It was mixed reviews when it came to the beef, pork, and chicken. We had 7 adults eating and 3 special combos was more than enough food. I didn't get to try the bean paste stew, but I really enjoyed the tofu soup. Corn cheese had the nice cheese pull of course. In terms of the side dishes, my favorite was the soft boiled potato.

Long line at McDonald drive thru so wanted to try korean bbq next door.$19 for spicy galbi lunch meal is reasonable, it came to about $24 with tax & tipsGalbi was fatty & juicy, spice level 2-3 max, I counted 6 good size meat which were enough for lunch meal. It was Served along with 5 side items on a metal tray: rice, japchae, cabbage kimchee, potato, bean sprouts. Overall good quality & quantities at the casual K bbq restaurant

Amazing korean food! They were very nice and understanding even though we came 30 minutes before closing. We made sure to finish quickly though but they were insistent we take our time and enjoy. We ordered the dinner meal for two and it was absolutely delicious and worth every penny! We got bbq, tofu soup, corn cheese, and the side dishes. They grilled for us and made sure everything was prepared correctly. Highly recommend!

It's been a few months since we have been here. We been going here for years when they had their AYCE option. New management and recently renovated means new menus and prices. Food is still good, not too crowded or noisy. They stopped serving our son's favorite, brisket a la cart, but we pleaded and they made an exception but charged us the galbi price. I think they will make more changes in their menu once they get more requests fromRegulars. They don't carry dessert at the moment.

Authentic Korean from the setting, banchan, staff. Service was great. Menu was extensive. Food was ok. I found the seafood pancake a bit too doughy, tteobokki was a little on the sweet side, I prefer it spicy. BBQ chicken was great, tender and spicy. The fried chicken was my favorite. We ordered bibimbap but they probably didn't hear us so we didn't get to try. We were very full at the end. It's a great place to hangout.
