Great food and wonderful service!I tried the Margherita pizza and it was amazing. The crust has a chewy texture, which i enjoyed. For dessert, we ordered the milk and cookies. The vanilla Gelato milkshake was so good. It was very thick, so I had to use a spoon. The cookies were ok.I noticed there were a few workers that just kept walking around, and they always refilled our water cups. Overall, I highly recommend!

3.5 STARSGeriatric Millennial dinner at 4:30 pm. I thought we would one of the few tables so I was shocked that it was poppin'! And, by 5 pm, there was a long wait and a line at the bar. Opening last March 2024, Blossom & Bourbon has been the IT spot in S San Jo. From my understanding, is the only upscale resto with craft cocktails in the area so it's been very popular with locals. It's faaaar from the city but I'll make the trek for prime rib and a dog-friendly patio! Open for takeout, indoor dining, and outdoor seating. NO rezzies, walk-in only which is wild. This is the first upscale resto I've been to that doesn't accept rezzies. How are people supposed to plan for date night, GNO, or a special occasion?! I guess eat dinner at 4-4:30 pm! TIP: You can add yourself on the waitlist via Google to minimize the wait time. M E N UNew American Cuisine with global inspired dishes. Full bar (bourbon centric cocktails). No happy hour deals. *Sunday Special*: Prime Rib for $52 (no sides included). D R I N K S* Gibson, Amass Gin ($17): https://tinyurl.com/mtbj6aa6I really enjoyed this small batch gin from LA, very smooth with citrusy and earthy notes. The pickled onions were hella salty tho. F O O D* Hamachi Crudo w/ citrus soy dressing, serrano, cilantro ($20): https://tinyurl.com/msxzb4jsAn iconic Nobu-inspired dish that so many restos try to replicate. Unfortunately, this was a complete miss - sloppy, poor knife skills and the ponzu tasted like watered down soy sauce, needed more citrusy punch. * Maine Lobster Rolls: Traditional lobster salad, buttered brioche, shot of bisque ($24): https://tinyurl.com/s6bxzcfdI read mixed reviews but it seems like we caught them on a good day. Soft buttery split top buns generously filled with fresh, creamy lobster. Pouring/dipping the warm bisque elevated the deliciousness and gave a pleasant temperature contrast. * Sunday Prime Rib Special: Certified Angus Beef Prime w/ natural jus, whipped horseradish ($52): https://tinyurl.com/ey3s9nbv- Requested rare Fav item - the prime rib was on point! Tender and juicy with a rich beefy flavor. The whipped horseradish tasted like plain cream, no zest or kick. * Ribeye: 16 oz certified angus beef prime, herbed compound butter ($52): https://tinyurl.com/p3ce37es- Requested medium rare: https://tinyurl.com/y9tm5x84 After tasting the prime rib, the ribeye paled in comparison. While properly cooked and juicy, it was woefully underseasoned, lacking a rich beefy flavor. The accompanying roasted garlic bulb wasn't warm so it made the garlic hard to spread. * Sides-- Mashed potatoes ($8) Solid mashed potatoes, smooth and creamy with a rich, buttery flavor. -- Charred Creamed Corn w/ jalapeño, nueske bacon ($9) Nice charred flavor but too salty for me. * Milk 'N Cookies: Three Double Chocolate Chunk Sea Salted Cookies w/ handspun vanilla gelato milkshake ($12): https://tinyurl.com/2e5cwk6zLots of rave reviews for this but it was meh. The renditions I've had at other restos, the cookies are freshly baked. These def weren't, while warm with melty chocolate, the exterior was dry and hard, lacking a satisfying chew. And, the cookie ran too salty. Even at EOD, Antoine's chocolate chip cookies are infinitely better. The milkshake was a cup of slow melting gelato (still in a ball). S E R V I C EOur server Melissa was awesome - friendly, upbeat, and attentive. Busboys quickly whisked away empty plates. Prompt food service. A M B I A N C EUpscale, classy vibes with a large bar and a very lively atmosphere. Two patios, one to enjoy a drink or three while waiting for a table and one for dine-in (six tables). Patios are covered and have overhead heat lamps.P A R K I N GPlentiful parking in the plaza. Overall, it was a mixed bag but for being the only Modern American Resto with a cocktail program in the area, the food was pretty decent. The prime rib was the def standout. If I find myself in S San Jo on a Sunday afternoon again, it's on with the prime rib!

We arrived here for a Saturday early dinner. The doors open at 4:00pm that day and so we made sure to arrive around that time. We were fortunate to get a booth as most of the tables inside were already occupied. Apparently most of the locals know that arriving early when they open is the best time to get a table. If you arrive a little after expect a long wait. Parking was easy and plentiful in the large plaza. The restaurant is located in a nice area about a mile down the street from Oakridge Mall. The restaurant has a beautiful elegant modern decor. I knew this was the right choice for our parents night out to celebrate Valentines' Day from just the looks of it alone. The service was great. Everyone was attentive and polite. We started with the Maine lobster rolls with lobster bisque as our appetizer. It was the highlight, so delicious. Then we had the wedge salad which our server offered to split between us. It was the right amount for each of us and we each enjoyed it a lot. For our main course, the wifey and I shared a medium rare prime rib eye and truffle fries. That was the right combo of savory and delightfulness. The roasted garlic was a bonus surprise. We also shared a bottle of Zinfandel from our local winery. They do offer a corkage fee for this. We are so happy to finally be able to experience Blossom and Bourbon. I believe the restaurant is approaching a 1 year anniversary soon. Congrats and we will be back to try more different dishes.

I'm not usually too crazy about American restaurants, but I was quite impressed wtih this place! I put myself on their online waitlist and started driving about an hour later. Arrived and there were a couple of parties still ahead of me, so I waited. It was really nice and cozy in their waiting area! Seems like their heaters and fireplaces were on full blast, which I felt was a nice touch. They have a little outside section for you to wait around and grab a few drinks as you wait for your table to be ready. The staff, from the hostess to our server, were all very friendly and helpful. They quickly assisted with our requests, served our food, and bussed down our table, without us having to wave them down. For a party of four, we ordered the following and managed to bring home some leftovers:Maine Lobster Rolls: 3.75/5 - It was good, but the ratio of bread to lobster was off. The lobster bisque that came with it was rich and buttery. It definitely felt more like I ordered a soup and was dipping my bread in soup.House Dip Trio and Chips: 4.5/5 - I would say this appetizer is a must get to share amongst the group. All three dips (pimento cheese, guacamole, and corn) were enjoyable and it's always nice to have a variety. Diavola Pasta: 4.75/5 - How can such a simple dish like this taste so good?! They must be putting something in that vodka sauce! This was one of my favorite versions of a vodka cream pasta. You kust try it to understand what I mean!Ora King Salmon: 4.75/5 - Ora King Salmon is a type of salmon that is known for it's buttery fattiness. Whenever I see it offered on a menu, I will order it because I know that it won't be dry! This dish was no exception, and the chili oil sauce complemented the salmon very well. It's skin was surprisingly super crispy and well salted. The mashed potato was also buttery and silky smooth! Overall, a well-executed dish.Ribeye: 4/5 - A solid ribeye steak. Not the most tender steak I've ever had, but it was well-seasoned and the roasted garlic was a nice touch. I typically prefer my steaks with a type of sauce, but this wasn't too bad. I would willingly pay a little extra for a better quality steak though... something a little more tender is always greatly appreciated. Just glad it was still juicy at least. They were also nice enough to box up the complementary bread pudding they offered for my mom's birthday, which was greatly appreciated because we were too stuffed to enjoy it on the spot. Overall, I would come back again to celebrate a special occasion, especially given the price point for the quality of food!

Came here on a Wednesday evening got seated fairly quickly. Took the pup with for dinner so we sat out in the patio which was fairly nice and the outdoor heater worked well. Got a couple drinks to start, no complaints there! Our food came out fairly quick started with the Lobster Roll that I would recommend then the Truffle Mushroom Pizza which is good. I'm fairly picky with my Pizza doughy but this one was good! The beef ribs were good too along with the corn bread and coleslaw side. The truffle fries was eh could have done without it. Not much truffle to it and it was more like parmesan fries. My only suggestion here is they should consider having a dog menu since it's a dog friendly restaurant but its not a deal breaker we were able to order a side of chicken for the little guy

This new restaurant is apparently all the buzz! Cane at 7:30pm on a Saturday and they had a 1.5 hour wait. They don't take reservations. They do have a lovely outdoor lounge area where you can wait and have a drink. The restaurant is pretty large and nicely decorated. The staff were all friendly, personable, and we never felt rushed even though they were clearly busy. The menu is somewhat all over the place, but everything we had was good, though maybe not all spectacular. I recommend the spicy honey pizza and the lobster rolls (and bisque). The lobster bisque is so flavorful!

Really nice vibes and ambiance. The bar was particularly appealing. We opted for the cheeseburger and the veal spaghetti. Price tag-wise, I didn't come expecting to get the best bang for my buck. Cheeseburger was okay with them cooking the meat just as requested, and the best thing was probably the sweet and slightly fruity sauce they used. They gave an abundance of perfectly cooked fries. The spaghetti was Al dente with some savory veal and subtle tomato flavor (not super acidic due to the umami flavor of the veal). I liked how generous they were with the meat. Service was good.
