This is an update for the mini pan dulce. They now sell in quantities of 50 or 100. Keep in mind two pieces equal one regular sized piece. Still fresh and delicious!

My daughters school celebration was catered with the mini pastries and cookies . Wonderful selections !!! We ordered 100 pieces and gave a week advance notice at least . The girl at the counter is super helpful . My kid's school loved the assorted Mexican breads and cookies.

I usually come here for bread on dia de los muertos and dia de los reyes. The bread is delicious and worth the price. As other people have mentioned, the customer service is okay but not great. And yes every time I have gone the lady that works at the register is talking on the phone or talking to other people. Aside from that I would recommend this place.

Came in on a Saturday at 4 P.M, but the store was closed. Either the hours on yelp are wrong or they decided to close early without consideration for their customers. Don't know but prob won't be heading here again since I'm not from the area.

No prices listed in this place. I was charged $1.85 for a pineapple tart triangle. No menu STILL and there is cafe seating. What a shame that hey are not selling tacos or burritos. That is what I wanted.

Their Pan Dulce is the best I've ever had. I've been to many tiendas and taquerias and panederias and this one stands out. Not only is their bread fresh for a few days after buying it, the flavor is so rich and sweet. Their food is good too, I love stopping in for Chorizo Burritos before work. I highly recommend them, especially during the pandemic. They have all the bread in preface bags of 3, so it's easy and safe for customers.

Best Mexican bread in town! It is a little pricey compared to other places, but it is so worth it. It's soft and fresh and, if you come at the right time, it's warm. We also ordered the menudo. It was delicious, but also a little pricier compared to the other places in Newark. The order came with all the same condiments as other restaurants, but what made it #1 for me is the hot oil sauce they serve. This is just like we eat at home and I had yet to find a place that served it with menudo. I took a star away because the prices are not listed and there is no real menu to order from. I will def. come back and explore this place.
