Walked by some many times during pick up of deliveries at Bloomingdale's thinking it was only a bar but finally decided to sit down and try some familiar flavors:Sweet & Sour Cauliflower- not your typical bottled red sauce as it was definitely in house made covering charred pieces of cauliflower and some mushrooms. Good flavor but it was smaller portion than expected.Green Beans- crunchy and paired well with red bell pepper & mushrooms, but slightly heavy handed on soy.Garlic Noodles- a different take on their previous versions at Thanh Long or Crustaceans but still has a punch of garlic essence throughout.Overall, very quick and friendly service as well as a convenient re-fuel while shopping in the area.

Went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, right when the restaurant opened. My friend and I sat at the bar and the server/bartender was great and very attentive without hovering. We were excited to learn they were affiliated with Crustaceans & Thanh Long but our experience did not compare. We ordered the garlic noodles with prawns. The noodles were mediocre, lacked the memorable seasoning of the sister restaurants. The grilled prawns were dry and overcooked. We ordered the salt & pepper wings which were tasty, but also overcooked and dry.The redeeming quality was the server. The restaurant was clean and well appointed, but very typical of what you would find now at Valley Fair.

If you can't make it to Thanh Long and are craving the garlic noodles, this is a pretty good stop gap. Unfortunately they do not have the crab but the rest of the items on the menu are decent enough although extremely overpriced compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area and we've got a lot of choices in San Jose. It's a bit hard to find, you've got to enter through Bloomingdales and that can be a bit of a chore but once you're inside the service is good and the atmosphere high end and classy. Parking is always difficult at the mall, especially on the weekends but you've got 2 free hours before they start charging and even then it's only a dollar or two if you go over the allotted time. Like I said before, if you don't want to drive all the way to San Francisco for the famous garlic noodles, come here.

Not as hot and steamy as Thanh Long in SF but the warm steamed Garlic noodles has the same taste, flavor, and texture. It is still much better than making the long drive. Table next to us, sent theirs back and got a fresh plate. We went during happy hour and tried the pork belly buns and salt and pepper wings. Wings were a little dry. Bao wasn't memorable. Peach tea was refreshing and condensed ice coffee was good. One nice server working all the tables, one bus person, and 3 kitchen workers. Great, quiet ambiance for a restaurant in Bloomingdale's Valley Fair.I love their garlic noodles so I'll be back.

This is so Americanized ngl LOL. P.F. Chang's who??? When we got here, the only 3 other parties here were non-Asians... Red flag. Service is so good though. Honestly the staff here are better than this :(Located inside the Bloomingdale's behind the shoe section and next to online order pickup (weird...). We made a reservation here for 6 pm, only to realize we could've definitely walked in. Basically empty. The restaurant is small, just a handful of tables and bar seating. Orders came out fast.JUMBO PRAWN WONTONS: Unorthodox...... Crispy, decently seasoned. Dipping sauce is standard.SALT & PEPPER CALAMARI: Small portions. It's ok... Nothing to write home about.SEAFOOD FRIED RICE: Bland. Tastes like it could come from Panda Express...CRISPY ORANGE PEEL CHICKEN: Also bland? And a bit tough... Appreciate that it's not slathered in some mystery sauce and over-battered, but not particularly flavorful.CHICKEN SKEWERS: Tender enough. Seasoned ok. The dry ass spring mix underneath was like...... Why..............For the price, I expected waaaay more. Not even plated nicely. ALSO..... Parties of 5 are charged 20% service charge automatically. They have this printed on the menu, but once the check comes, it's NOT printed on the receipt but STILL has a blank line for you to tip. Super deceptive because you'll likely forget you were already charged, then tip twice -__-

An absolute hidden gem! My husband and I weren't feeling the food court food and found this place on yelp. It took forever to find, but luckily, with some help from the yelp reviews, we were able to find it. There was only one other table inside and we were glad for it since we wanted to get away from the mall crowd. Our server was super friendly and attentive and predicted our needs before we even had to ask. The food was delicious. We got the tiger prawns with garlic noodles, mango salad, and the open faced banh mi with soft shell crab. Highly recommend checking out this place! It's a great place to bring some friends and have some drinks and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and good food :)

Seems overpriced for what you get food wise. I got 2 large prawns and a bunch of noodles. I thought the flavor was ok. Nothing special. The calamari was super thin, I would rather get this dish at a traditional Chinese restaurant where the calamari would be higher quality

We've been wanting to come here for a while but it never worked out. We had plans at the mall and it just so worked out that we can have lunch here. Located in Bloomingdales by Jimmy Choo's. We arrived right before they opened and was given a choice of any table in the entire nicely decorated restaurant. The waiter was nice and courtesy. We ordered 3 dishes which didn't fit on our table so he moved another table over for us. He was gracious enough to take a photo for us as well. Waters refilled without ask. GINGER CHILEAN SEABASS 39 Bok Choy, Ginger Scallion Citrus Sauce $39 - A bit on the sweet side for me but my husband LOVED this dish. Cooked perfectly. Does remind me of some home cooked fish I had as a child. ROYAL TIGER PRAWNS WITH 26/38 AN's Famous Garlic Noodles - Difference between the two prices are 2 shrimps vs 4 shrimps. Surprisingly good. Did not feel overly oily. I can just sit there and eat the entire dish! Definitely understand why this is their signature dish.FILET MIGNON CHOW FUN 20 Black Bean Sauce, Bean Sprouts, Carrots, Onion - My husband loved chow fun. Comes with a decent amount of toppings. Beef cooked perfectly. Again, it was a bit on the sweeter side for me. Overall, it was a great experience from start to end. Service, food and ambiance all great.

Very tasty sauces on the green beans and on the garlic noodles. The chicken skewers were well seasoned, though the chicken in the green bean dish was a bit dry. Otherwise, really great taste, would highly recommend giving this place a visit. It is a bit hidden, but is on the first floor of Bloomingdale and has a niche interior decoration.Staff was also very friendly.
