I guess Cajun Crackin' closed. The Cajun food here was pretty good though. Shared the combo with my friend and we were thoroughly stuffed and brought a few shrimp home. With a combo, you get three pounds of seafood, sausage, corn, and potatoes for $65. It was pretty empty on a Wednesday lunch afternoon but this place is probably more lively at night time. Service was not bad and the place was decorated pretty well. Considering this place for lunchtime Cajun.

This review would've easily been 4 stars but this happened more than couple of times. They still use the Cajun Crackin on doordash but the restaurant is named differently. It is either the employees are not doing their job measuring the seafood or they are on purposely cheating the customers. You guys need to do better. There is something called integrity and honesty. I went to an actual Cajun Crackin in Milpitas and when they brought out the shrimp I thought it was underweight as well. For almost $20 you'd think you'll be getting your money's worth.

We came here after an estimated 1.5 hour wait for the Boiling Crab and it was fairly empty on a Friday night. One member of my party said the music was a little too loud for her. For four people, we ordered the Combo #3 and chose:Whole Dungeness crab from the Pick 1Shrimp (headless), crawfish, and black mussels from the pick 3Then added 1 lb each of the head-on shrimp and green mussels. All with the house special sauce at medium spicy level. Medium was just right - not spicy enough to sweat or numb the tongue, but gives a nice kick of spice after eating a few pieces of seafood.I've never had proper Cajun seafood as far as I can recall so was pleasantly surprised at the provided gloves and bib, since I was expecting and wary of messy hands. Apparently the taste is pretty close to the Boiling Crab and the drive is only around 15 minutes away if it gets too crowded!

FoodSuper delicious and their sauce was pretty good. I ordered the shrimp (where you have the options of having the head on or removed)Ordering was simple as their menu walked you through the steps how to customize your choices.ServiceFriendly and attentive by the waitress/host/bartenderAmbienceSuch much decorating details where it screamed you're in a seafood restaurant with a nice theme. So far my favorite crawfish/seafood finger eating restaurant

This spot was previously Cajun Crackin but they rebranded a couple weeks ago. Cajun Crackin wasn't reported as closed so we were super confused when we arrived to the plaza. The front windows and doors show pics of seafood so we decided to just go ahead and give this place a shot for lunch. On a Thursday at 12:30, this place was completely empty. The inside is pretty big, but when you're the only customers, it's a weird feeling. They have a nice bar, and the bathrooms and dining area are clean so kudos to that. Our waitress was just the sweetest girl, but there seemed to be some miscommunication with the kitchens, which she was super apologetic for. We ordered a dozen oysters, garlic noodles, fries, lemon pepper wings, a pound of cajun shrimp and rice. After we got our order in, she came back to say they were out of oysters so we subbed for fried calamari. The food came out one dish at a time, and there was a small wait between each item. After we got half our food, she said they were out of garlic noodz. We were really disappointed but nothing we could do now. Then after we got all our food, she came back and said they DO have garlic noodz now if we want them... lol We really did want the garlic noodz so we said ok and that took about another 15 min to come out. All the food was hot and fresh but everything was just super breaded and heavy. The lemon pepper wings were light on the lemon pepper and had so much breading. Each wing felt so dense. It was crunchy though! The fried calamari come in rings and the inside was super tender, not really chewy at all, but once again, way heavily breaded. Their house sauce for the shrimp was good but not spicy at the medium level. It had a nice garlic flavor and was great with some lemon squeezed into it. Some of our shrimp had black spots, and were over cooked so a bit hard to peel. I think if this was spicier, it would have been a pretty decent sauce. They were really stingy with the sauce though, and no garlic chunks in sight. The garlic noodles were worth the wait. They were piping hot, and made with a thin spaghetti noodle. Super garlicky and flavorful, but I do appreciate a thicker chow mein type of noodle for more bite. Pour some of the cajun sauce over this and you got a fire combo. All in all, this spot is decent. I prefer more of an Asian Cajun, like Boiling Crab, but I think it has potential especially with the full bar. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service we received, as the waitress was really nice about everything. Do expect a bit of a learning curve though as the staff appears to be new, as its all under new management. It took a while for us to pay the check and leave because the CC processor was having some issues with the paper. They were able to offer text receipt though so it was fine. FYI- She did mention the menu would be changing soon in the next couple months.

Hurts my soul to leave this review, but I don't want anyone else to get scammed. They leverage the 4 start rating from the Cajun Crack'n yelp profile to get customers. For starters, the name has been changed for longer than a year, yet the Cajun Crack'n yelp profile has not been updated. The restaurant is clean and somewhat aesthetically pleasing. The food mediocre. Nothing special if you've dined a other similar seafood restaurant's that offered boils. It's not worth the trip. Now let me share my experience. This was my first time visiting with my family which included two toddlers. After we ordered our food the lights went out and no one acknowledged it. The staff kept operating as if it was a regular occurrence. (Imagine eating in the dark) Once our food came out it was hot, but wrong. We ordered two boils, the ticket on the bag was correct, but the contents included ingredients that we were allergic to. (Lucky, I had my epipen on deck) After we politely notified our waiter, a new order was placed.... Still wrong. Now at this point the kids are screaming because they are staving and everyone is moving at a slow glacier like pace. Very disappointing. Everyone makes mistakes totally understandable, but it's how you deal with the issue to rectify the situation that matters. The place had the potential to be great, but don't you dare waste your time or money.

Such a good combo deal. I got the special 1 and added crawfish. The flavor was great! I got the combo flavor. The garlic noodles was okay, i didn't like the noodles they used. The service was okay, very slow for not a busy day. We also had the Michelada which was pretty good. Overall I'd come back. The place is huge!! With a bar and everything.

Come support your local, Latino owned, small business. Second time here in the last couple of weeks. The staff is super friendly and the food is good. We have several of the Po Boys and different flavored shrimp. They were all good and decently priced. They have musing playing but it's not too loud and obnoxious like some places. You can still easily have a conversation with your party. Previously Cajun Crackin but from my understanding all the food is the same. Just a new re-branding.
