I came here for dinner one evening and had an amazing time! The interior of Breeze is intimate and a bit romantic, good for a date night (or even a good dinner with friends). The space is a bit small, so I recommend reservations if you can!My friend and I got their mouth-watering chicken, cucumber salad, chili wontons, diced chicken with Sichuan peppercorn, tea-smoked duck, and pumpkin glutinous rice cakes. Everything was so delicious. I loved the cold chicken dish to start our meal and the cucumber salad was light and refreshing. The chili wontons and diced chicken were packed with flavor. I wasn't honestly the biggest fan of the smoked duck, but I think that was more personal preference (still an amazing dish!). And, the pumpkin glutinous rice cakes were a good, filling way to end the meal with a treat that wasn't too sweet. Good Sichuan spot!

What a beautiful spot! It is really quite cozy in here and I was excited by the menu options. My friends and I shared a lot of dishes and our favorites had to be the bok choy and mushroom dish as well as the century egg dish. I thought they did exceptional on their vegetable dishes here. I cannot really comment on the spicy foods as I don't have a high tolerance for spice but from what I heard, it's delicious! I was excited for the crab egg tofu dish but it was lacking a bit of oomph for me. It was also quite salty. Visually it's beautiful but it did not meet my expectations in terms of flavor. It was nearly there I think but that also may just be personal preference perhaps. I do also wish some small bowls could be provided as it's difficult to scoop on a plate. I loved the scallion pancakes here and the Dan Dan noodles. It had a nice kick to it! The staff are also really kind and patient here. I accidentally broke a sake bottle I had with me and the staff immediately cleaned it up and provided me with 2 extra bags to carry my non broken bottle. Shout out to them and apologies again! Overall it's a great spot to be with friends or loved ones and there are great vibes here. I would definitely come back again for the vegetable dishes and century egg!

Such a delicious meal! I grew up eating dim sum, so Breeze's menu felt like a warm hug from home. We got a bunch of dim sum dishes and a few other dishes. Dim sum: xiao long bao, har gow, and shumai. Everything was delicious! My only complaint is that dim sum should not be this expensive, but (1) it's Brooklyn, and (2) the super cozy interior and dining experience is all a part of that price tag.Sides/mains: chili wonton, dan dan noodle, tomato curry. The standouts for me were the dan dan noodles and tomato curry. The noodles had a great texture and were packed with so much savory flavor. The tomato curry was also so flavorful, yet light, and I loved the addition of tofu and enoki mushrooms. Both of those textures went so well with the curry. Drinks: peach tea cocktails. So delicious! Whenever I get a "tea" based cocktail, I can almost never taste the tea, but this cocktail was deliciously tea-forward! It was so smooth and refreshing, and the perfect amount of sweet. They also have a great HH deal on drinks :)

The restaurant offers solid Chinese food, though I'm not sure how authentic the Szechuan flavors are since most traditional Szechuan dishes are known for their bold spiciness. * Winter Frost #2: The winter melon tea brought back nostalgic memories for me. It was enjoyable and refreshing. * Crab Soup Dumplings: These were unfortunately underwhelming. The dumplings had barely any soup inside and were quite dry, which was disappointing. * Tea-Smoked Duck: A strong contender! The duck was juicy, flavorful, and a satisfying choice overall. * Shredded Beef with Green Chili: It was good, but not outstanding. Despite requesting extra spiciness, the heat was missing, which was a letdown. * Pumpkin Glutinous Rice Cake: A delightful surprise! The flavor was balanced and not overly sweet, making it a standout dessert.I would definitely return to explore other offerings on the menu, as there are plenty of intriguing dishes to try. Service was excellent!

Great spot on Manhattan, just a quick walk to the G train and a 5 minute walk to McCarren Park - two added bonusses to this newer addition gem in Greenpoint. Writing specifically about their Happy Hour as we were just grabbing a quick drink after work, so we took a seat at the bar. Their Happy Hour currently boasts $9.99 for any of the cocktails on their list. We each got the Juno... and it was a good one. Garnished well, in nice glassware - just as a full-priced cocktail would be. Same for the ice cube - they used a large, square ice cube. For $9.99 you guys. For the quality and price, you can't beat it!For the Happy Hour food, we ordered the Sichuan Cold Noodle and Scallion Pancakes. They were also both delicious. For two cocktails and two starters, our bill came to $39.17 before tip. Unheard of these days. The service was good. They could maybe use a little sprucing up of the bathroom, although their soap of choice is incredible. Note, they open at 5pm. The sign out front reads a bit differently. Highly recommend giving Breeze a shot!

Service: 4.5/5Food: 3.8/5Ambiance: scandinavian decor, casual + classyReminds me of another BK spot- Birds of a Feather bc of the decor + menu. Honestly would be a good alternative, bc it seems they get less foot traffic. I think their entrees are a better deal than dim sum, but i haven't tried the latter. Rice is extra, which is disappointing. What I Ordered:- Sichuan Mungbean Jelly: sichuan gives a kick, otherwise bland + slippery- Eggplant in Garlic Sauce*: saucy, little spicy, great over rice- Crab Tofu: milder flavor compared to the others; tasted salted egg bits- Chicken w/ Truffle Sauce on a Sizzling Pan*: didn't accomplish what was intended (no truffle taste), but still a good dish. tender meat + CLOVES of garlic for subtle flavor*recommend

Bernie's was full for the night so we popped by Breeze! Cute lil spot. Dim lighting. What we tried-Scallion Sauce Cucumber:Good but it needed more oomph. Maybe more garlic or some chili? Dan Dan Noodle:Yummy! Not too spicy and the perfect amount of sauce Spicy Cumin Lamb:Tender, spicy and delicious! Good mix of meat and peppers/onionsTomato Curry with Egg Tofu:Couldn't decide between this or the other egg tofu dish. Nice saucy dish! Curry flavor is not too strong and the enoki has nice texture. I wish the egg tofu wasn't fried/breaded though. It got soggy real quickEggplant with Garlic Sauce:Eggplant is nicely cooked down with a spicy and garlic sauceI was pleasantly surprised with this spot! Waiter was nice and attentive. Made great recommendations for our table. Definitely want to come back and try their other dishes. A little on the pricier side but a good option in Williamsburg/BK!

Came here for the lunch special with a friend. It's reasonably priced and well-portioned, but I felt that both the Shredded Beef with Green Chili and the Kung Pao Chicken were too sweet for my taste even with the copious amount of chili sauce we added. Of the dishes we had I think the Beancurd in Chili Oil was my favorite, but that's one of my Szechuan staples so take it with a grain of salt. The ambience is nice - it's a cute restaurant with good vibes and excellent service. I might come back here on a date, but I probably would go somewhere else if I was hungry and alone.

This is my favorite szechuan spot in all of NYC. Best lunch deals too -- $15-$18 for an entree of your choice, a side of rice, and 2 small sides from a list of options. My favorite dishes are the chicken and pea flower, and the spicy and sour fish soup. That last one is real spicy, but absolutely worth it. The service is great, and the vibes in the restaurant are cute. I'd take someone on a date here if they like spicy Chinese food!
