Rarely answer phones. Food is average "sitting by at your aunts house" cooking. Nothing to make you go out your way to stop there.

This is literally the best food and friendliest owner and staff. Prices are so good, but the food was beyond delicious.

My supervisor recommended this spot. Oh my lord when I tell you I thank God for that. I will always recommend this stop to everyone. I am so picky about my soul food. I was raised by my grandmother, & if you know, you know! It's hard to find good good soul food. I'm hitting them up every Monday with that cabbage!! A few recommendations: cabbage with no meat (yeah I said it lol) 2. A little more sweetness to the yams & cut them smaller. Other than that, I just recommend 3 more people. & will continue to do so.

Woodmere cafe is just "ok" tried them for the first time I got the Mardi Gras pasta with fried fish I enjoyed! However, when I returned on a Monday and tried the Monday special red beans with baked chicken and potato salad, beans and chicken were tasty but the potato salad was not! It was so full of mayo and no seasoning they really need to do better. I want to try other foods from this place like their seafood potato but as far as the daily plates I might pass on them not enough portion for the money but a decent choice on the westbank as far as "quick hot food" just not my # 1.

Do not waste your money. The wings are extremely small and fried so hard that the meat is super crispy. Also, if you order food through an app, such as waitr app, they will substitute a part of your order without contacting you and lie to the driver and state that they did notify you of the substitution. They also only put sauce on three of my wings and I ordered a 10 piece with sauce. This business is shady.
