Willie's Pizza Joint

Come on, Willie's! We love your chicken and usually eat it every time we're in New Orleans, but paying almost 30.00 for three slices of warmed up pizza is Bourbon St robbery. The kids working there were nice. The pizza was tasty and filled a 1am void. Also, they were the only option available. Thus, 3 stars. We'll stick to Willie's chicken from here on out.

I love an underrated restaurant that proves reviews wrong and this is what this spot has done for me! This restaurant truly deserves a 4 or 4.5 rating!Service was excellent, they were truly welcoming and nice since I'm not from around here!I had the 3 Piece Chicken tender and loved it!Definitely recommending folks to visit this restaurant when they visit NOLA!

Fairly decent pizza at decent price. The slice I got was VERY greasy- like the oil was pouring off the slice. But it actually tasted good.There's plenty of seating between this and Willie's Chicken next door which is connected- and the service is quick. Cards are accepted.

The chicken was pretty 5 star but the service for NEGATIVE FIVE STARS. Cashier was completely emotionless and not helpful. Rude really, I regret tipping her. Since she was kind of the norm around New Orleans I didn't expect much when I asked a server/kitchen hand for some hot sauce. He directed me to all the full side tables. I had to go and ask another diner for their sauce. Unbelievable. To top it off, said dinner has been in the open kitchen area eating chicken and drinking his non lid covered beverage.Prolly won't come here again...

Wow.. the chicken and the cajun tenders were on point, I didn't even drank alcohol and I still had a good time, hands down.. I recommend this place to any visitor, I hope in the future they have a location where it's more secluded and not loud

If I could give this place a zero rating I would. First off the service was horrible! The workers were too busy getting rowdy with their friends who walked in that they were even paying attention to the order that I was trying to place. Not to mention the fact that they were about to overcharge me. $24 for three slices of pizza?! I'm very vigilant with my surroundings. I did the math in my head and for two slices of pepperoni pizzas that are six dollars each and one slice of a buffalo chicken pizza for $7... Equals $24!? It says a lot with the fact that my boyfriend handed her 2 $20 and she says... You don't have four dollars? He was like... No. She was like don't worry about it. You really think if the price was supposed to be $24 that they wouldn't have let us go for $4 if that was the true price. The pizza was cold and they didn't bother wanting to heat it up. It was my first time trying the buffalo chicken and it was soaked with oil and all it just kept slipping off.Let's talk about the atmosphere now. The tables were sticky and covered with smears of pizza sauce and wouldn't dare touch the cheese or pepper flakes containers. They too were filthy. If you want to go to filthy place with careless employees who over price, this is your place!

One of the busiest streets in New Orleans , (Frenchman) is this place has a corner spot! I'm still trying to let that sink in. I'm trying to figure out how and what makes this places' Fried Chicken "Famous" as the sign says. The sign outside advertises chicken but it's listed as a Pizza joint. Service is ssssllllooowwww, but the new Employee at the register was doing her best. To be honest my Beef is not with her, it's the nerve of this place to bite from the name of the real, Willie Mae's Scotch House. I really want my $12 back. The Honey Buteer Hockey Pick, (Biscuit) was probably buttery and flakey at some point in it's life. But by the time it got to me it had already begun to decompose. Dry and hard. Fries were seasoned and frozen and then fried fresh. The oil was so old that I thought they were Sweet Potatoes fries until I tasted them. The Girl dressed in black I guess was the Manager. I love how she denied my request for 2 Thighs instead of a leg. A very quick no without even a option for me to pay extra. Damn! I have to say that the Pizza would have been a better option. It looked very good and couldn't have been any worse than this Pegion they are trying to pass off as a chicken. Did I mention the pieces made me want to call my Congressman and Lobby for regulation size wings. 3 different sizes in my to go box and each smaller than the next. 2 Stars are for the young lady working hard at the register. I'm cool on Willie's(Not to be confused with Willie Mae's). There won't be a second chance.

$44 for 4 slices.Service & quality of pizza.$10 per slice is crazy.It would have been great pizza if the crust was cooked fully or if they were nice. 1/5 stars.

It's straight late drunk food lol the pizza slices aren't that great, pizza is too greasy, but the pizza dough was good. The staff isn't too friendly, but then again they're probably used to dealing with loud drunks, lol. The music and decorations were a vibe, but I'll try my luck at a different spot for a more filling and tasteful slice. We had a slice of cheese & a slice of gator pizza.

we paid our check with a credit card and then were refused the deliver of their food. our credit card was charged -we went on our banking app to show the employees that our credit card was charged -and they acknowledged that our credit card was charged, but they told us that, even though we were charged, that they would not give us our food (that we paid for), because they had some technical problem with their computer that they couldnt figure out. never go here. its a complete scam!!!!they took our money with no food or serviced rendered. thieves
