HERE IT IS! If you're the kind of person who drives around lookin for mobile BBQ stations because they're the BEST, then drive no more! This BBQ has moved from the corner, into a stationary bldg on the corner of SAINT PHILIP & N. BROAD STS.! The business is so new, u can actually sit & watch them manually fulfilling commercial orders, while they prepare orders for waiting customers! At first glance, I found the prices a little steep, until I GOT THE PLATE! OMG! Their $16 1 BIG MEAT plate is AWESOME! A FULL quarter rack of the most tender, fall off the bone ribs u EVER tasted! The sauce was dark & spicy, but not hot or sticky sweet. And, the SIDES!! I had MardiGras Indian Cole Slaw & Dats Dat Collard Greens! The coleslaw was cool & creamy, but not "milky," with a zing to the dressing! The collards were BEAUCOUP seasoned, with a flavor that took me all the way back to Grandma's house! Although I know sugar is used to lessen the tartness of greens, these were sweeter than I prefer, but STILL EXCELLENT! Unfortunately for me, I was tortured with the OMG aromas of baking Ooey Gooey cake, but ALL of it was already allotted...so I couldn't get some! I settled for a REALLY good Irish Cream Pecan praline! I was VERY satisfied that my "splurge" dinner was ALL I wanted/needed it to be, and the owner family service & friendliness made the whole experience FUN! Try 'em! U WON'T be disappointed, & it's in the hood...no need to drive around! Oh! One more thing...there's a $2 upcharge for credit/debit card use; kinda thought that was a bit high!
