It's Labadieville. I get it. Hours will naturally be weird because it's a population of like 12. Still, it's hard to even catch the place open it seems. Ambiance is similar to Subway, but the sandwiches are a bit lacking. At least the service is ok.

Awesome place to eat. It's way out-of-the-way. The burgers on Friday or excellent the rabbit sauce week on Wednesday is as good as my grandfathers. The pork ribs on Thursday are also very tasty. Occasionally he makes pork stew and I find that to be outstanding as well. I wish he was closer to my house.

Local joint with limited seating and daily specials that were cooked in a stove top with local experience. Am thankful it was recommended and it did not disappoint. I had the smothered cabbage with pork chops- hard to beat this economical plate that is certain to fill you up. Def plan to go back when in the area.

Vinnie's sandwiches are absolutely amazing. We were staying nearby In Labadieville and happened in for lunch. They had pulled pork sandwiches on special that were superior to any barbecue that I've ever eaten in my native Texas. We were disappointed to not try the rabbit but as far as restaurants go, this place is a must try. Props to the cooks for their terrific barbecue skills.

Came out here for lunch last Wednesday with several co-workers, per their enthusiastic recommendations to get the rabbit sauce picante (the Wednesday lunch special). It... Was... Amazing! There is no more that can be said. It was perfect. It just was.The place itself is a hole in the wall. And it doesn't look all that impressive. But the rabbit sauce picante is just delicious. I also got a couple bags of cracklin to go (they sell them in sandwich size ziploc bags). Pretty good cracklin - crunchier than most, but good flavor.

Walking one foot inside this place and you know you've found a real gem. Smells amazing. Food is excellent. Friendly and fun staff. Highly recommend.

Try this place! It's a true gem... absolutely looks like an old mechanic garage but..: the food is phenomenal.. great lunch crowd and good prices... think Nowhere's USA ... lol ... ya'll gotta stop here!

Worth the drive! Best place in Labadieville! Their plate lunches during the week are amazing and so is their staff!

My wife & I have the lunch special at least three times each week. The food is always delicious & always fresh! Every time we have something we've had previously, it has a consistent taste. Real down home cooking anyone can appreciate, except maybe for the vegetarian folk out there. The owner, Vinnie, is always there and he ensures the quality of every meal served; he always has a great attitude and smile on his face. I recommend this place to all!
