**Tourist Review I love the oyster and shrimp poboy. It was sooo good. Perfectly battered and fried in slaw. I just wish it was a little more spicy or that they offered some crystal or other hot sauces to spice it up a bit. If you get the gumbo, they make the perfect pairing. All in all, i would 100% come back

Awesome sandwich spot! I LOVED their signature All that Jazz sandwich. The shrimp was extremely well cooked, and the sauce was delicious. Bread was also fluffy and flavorful! I didn't love the muffuletta as much, but that's just because I'm not huge on olives. As far as ambience goes, it's quite a tight fit inside and can be a bit of a wait to get your food; food must be taken to-go.

If you know, you know. This unassuming tiny shop has some of the best sandwiches and pre made foods in NOLA! Shimmy your way through the narrow aisles, order a Sammy, go to the back for pick up, and feast! Most hoagies will run you around $18 but they are stuffed with meats and enough for two people. Everything is fresh, and the beef was slow cooked?! Ridiculous flavor. This place is a win.

First night came by and they was closed for an hour, so we left. Next night came by we ordered all that jazz and the shrimp philly. Sandwich's was big and lots of meat, but both had too much of that wow sauce, after a while all I tasted was that wow sauce, which has a hint of horseradish and I am not a big fan of. If you like horseradish, then it might be for you. Bright side is that it opens 24 hours and great location, but unfortunately the first time I came, it was closed for a few hours till 1230 am. I might only come back if I am desperate and hungry at night and everything else is closed. But with my luck, it might be closed when I come.

This small little deli was recommended by a friend of mine for one of the best muffulettas in town and boy did it not disappoint. Everyone was super friendly and answered all of my questions. A local recommended it hot and spicy. The food was delicious and when I ate it back at my hotel. The space is small like the usual deli in the corner, very narrow aisles but the service is fast and efficient.

If you love green olives and salami, the muffaletta will be here calling your name... Jenny... Jenny... come in and EAT ME! That green olive salad is EVERYTHING in the muffaletta! Sooo freaking good. Salty, crunchy, flavorful delicious bite, it had everything I wanted in sandwich. And the size of it was humongous. Since it was a short trip to NOLA and we had so many other places to taste test, we had leftovers. The saddest thing was, it was stolen on our last day where we stored our luggages on our last day here. Boy we were mad! This squishy grocery store barely had any room to walk through. You had to order from the front desk and pickup at the back. Very popular place and lots of favorable reviews. I can't wait to come back here again! Next time, I'm going to carry my leftovers around town on my last day there. Ain't getting stolen again!!!

No frills, 24-hour snack shop and sandwich counter. I can't definitely see this hitting the spot after a night of drinking, but for a first visit, the ordering at the counter was not super clear between the many various handwritten signs about specials, new items, and other things. It can be overwhelming, but they also post the menu on the door so I came it with a little understanding of there being a lot going on just generally.I ordered the spicy muffuletta, hot. I loved the olive tapenade, and the sesame bread was perfect for soaking up all the oils. The sauce would drip down my arms as I noshed on this giant sandwich, and I didn't even notice. I also can't believe how generous the portions were, but NOLA does late night food right. Staff were straightforward, service was fast, and I will be back! Verti Marte is on the quieter side of the French Quarter, which was a welcome relief on my ears.

Get the All that Jazz. Best sandwich in the quarter. We still have dreams about this sandwich. We stopped to get one on our way to the airport.

Every time I am in New Orleans I stop at Verti Marte for one of their huge, messy poboys. The storefront is not nice, service is surly, but the sandwich is pure magic.I usually get All That Jazz. It has grilled shrimp, turkey and ham, grilled mushrooms, cheese, tomatoes and wow sauce. It last at least 2 meals and about 20 napkins later. The price has gone up quite a bit. The sandwich is $18.Important reminder, order and pay at register before going to the back to give them your ticket. I forget half the time and waste a lot of time.

Great grab-and-go sandwiches. This deli is small and cramped but the po-boys are delicious and fresh! I'd recommend the fried shrimp. The muffulettas are good, but a little greasy. Sandwiches come out quickly and are big enough for two meals!
