Town Donuts & Breakfast

Oh my goodness fresh donuts. So yummy. We were passing through and were looking for local coffee and found homemade fresh donuts as well. Bonus! The service was great very friendly. I had to wait about 5 minutes to order just because they were busy and the locals apparently know the gem they have. It is an older building and has a place to order with self serve coffee. There is also a drive through. I could see them making donuts! The ambiance was fine.

I woke up on a crisp Saturday morning with a hankering for some drive-thru breakfast, you know, a donut joint with KOLACHES because they're my absolute favorite thing! I hit up Yelp, as one does, for a recommendation because I didn't want any old "dunkin donuts" kolaches. I wanted good homebaked ones! After seeing that Town Donuts had BOUDIN KOLACHES #1 I lost my breath for a second and #2 I ran out the door without saying anything to anyone. They were just as I had imagined and were perfectly buttery & fluffy with really delicious boudin in them. The drive-thru line was super quick, the staff friendly (I only saw one person working the front from the window- which wasn't an issue), and the YUGE kolache was STUFFED with boudin! The smoked pork in the boudin kicked it all off!!

I come here every Saturday morning before my 8 am radio show on WABL. My favorite selection is the ham and cheese croissant for a sweet and savory flavor. They're donuts are always fresh.Nice new business with super friendly service.

Yummy, yummy! These donuts are so good I made a u-turn after I inhaled the first one. The dough is really light, not the lead, overly sweet, grease balls like the downtown Kentwood one. The apple fritters aren't overcooked and actually have apple filling in them. I ordered the cinnamon rolls and the apple fritter and Boston cream. All fabulous and only $1.19 for he fancies. They have a drive thru too. They off breakfast kolaches and stay open all day. Nice, clean sit down area.Cons- Not a huge selection and can't keep up with demand The workers are all foreign and you have a hard time understanding, but they're nice and pointing gets the order across. They say ma'ám and thank you a lot, very polite :-)

The people who work there are very kind. The donuts are absolutely delicious and their Boudin kolaches are out of this world!

Zero stars ... Twice I been there and the gave me glazed when I said chocolate. The girlEven repeated it to me! She tapes the box so that you don't open it to see her giving you what you don't want !
