The Swamp Room

Great burger, cooked perfect. Small order of tater tots was delicious. Nice and hot the way it should be served. Only issue is you have to order at the bar. But the service was excellent, bar tender was really helpful. I'll be back to try other food they offer.

Not from Louisiana.. here for work.So we have been hitting up story's bars for the football games. Sat at the bar on a Saturday. Decent crowd. Bartender she was very nice and attentive. Ordered from mini taco and spinach and artichoke dip. I was not impressed. This is the same crap you can get from Sam's club in the frozen aisle. We ate the mini tacos. But the slimy dip was worse. Unfortunately for us will will not be back for the bar trash frozen food.I did like the fact that they played the sound of a game instead of playing music.

This is one of the more popular bars in Metairie. Usually 2-3 bartenders working at night. We usually come here once or twice a month after work as I work a few miles down the street. Food is good (we usually get a steak). Bartenders are usually busy and sometimes can take ahwile to get service. Swamp Room is still Swamp Room (popular, fun atmosphere, good food).

We get take out here all the time but tonight it wasn't good. My grilled chicken had a huge piece of skin on it that when I pulled it off, it took all the seasoning off & it was small. The girl was also rude when we picked the food up

Decent bar food and prices aren't bad. Plenty places to sit. Went during the day and there was only one bartender but it was pretty busy so was a bit of a wait. Food came out quickly and was a good portion. Got the chili cheese tots which were good

Love it. RITA the Bartender is the best. She's super experienced and cute. Way older than she looks! I wish the bar organized the liquor better for fast access for bartenders on the weekend bc it doesn't really make sense the way it is now (I'm a Bartender myself).Swamp room has always been a hub since I was in high-school 15 years ago and continues to be a solid late night choice. The pool tables felt were very decent quality and a lot of stick options though a few were shattered. Love the mural when you walk in - I would love to see some more art throughout the place to emphasize the swamp theme (HOLLAAAAA, I'm a mural artist also ;) )

We had the swamp burger. It was delicious and perfectly cooked. I couldn't eat the entire burger.

This is the place to be if you want a great burger in Metairie ! Nice clean joint. Friendly bar service. Lots of options on tap. This place is the coolest

This place is usually amazing. I don't know what happened. I ordered a burger and not only was it overcooked but it was awful. They usually are top notch. It tastes like they used a frozen defrosted patty. It was such a disappointment. I have never been this dissatisfied with burgers from swamp room. I don't know what is going on but it isn't the same anymore. I'm so disappointed. They used to be the best hands down. Not anymore.

Went here to watch a football game with friends. Another patron was taunting our table and threw a chair. The staff didn't intervene or address the guys at all.
