The Original Patti

Should your travels take you to Lafayette for work, play, or Boudin run, do yourself a favor and stop in for their steak sandwich and don't pass up there own "dynamite" sauce. It's quite tasty.

We have eaten here since our kids were little and my youngest is 27. We have tried the one on Kaliste Saloom but IT IS NOT THE SAME! It has been about 10 years and our daughter was craving a homemade burger so we surprised her and her husband with this dinner place. It was a Friday night after Xmas tree shopping so it was somewhat slow, which is ok with us.Our service was impeccable and the SENIOR BURGER...... let's just say it was wonderful. They have a November special buy any sandwich and get the next half off. The flavor of the patty was down home and cooked to perfection, just enough pink. With prices rising we will definitely make this our go to place again.

Great service. I think the seasoning has changed. I prefer the burgers prior to the change. Oh, my last visit, I decided to eat fish in place of a burger.

We went there Friday for lunch. The food was decent and the service was okay. However, there is a 4% charge for non using cash. I understand the markup, being a business owner myself. I paid cash and was charged the markup anyway. Now, I will not return.

A good ol' college hangout . . . I enjoyed the Ground Pat'i with cheese and a side of onion rings. The burger was quite good, with a slightly more traditional-tasting beef patty than my fav. Five Guys burger. The onion rings were perfectly prepared and hit the spot. The staff made our table of four feel right at home. We'll be back!

My wife and I went to the Original Patti on Pont Des Mouton and the burgers and fries were terrific. More importantly, the service was outstanding. Definitely will be back.

SAD! This building used to be a Ground Pati but the new owner changed the name and the recipes. He CHEAPENED all of it and reduced the quantities. It is NOT a Ground Pati restaurant ant any longer. Obviously he is trying to use the long time reputation of Ground Pati by twisting the name but the food is terrible. Stay away from it. For the original recipe and food quality, go to the GROUND PATI on Kaliste Saloom Rd.

Wake up people. This business is not Ground Pati anymore. New owners. Ambiance ok. Food not good

I wish I would have taken a picture of the Western burger of the month! It was delicious with onion rings and sweet and spicy bbq sauce! Oh and the fires are AMAZING every time. The atmosphere is relaxing and very friendly. Love the ORIGINAL PATTI! We love everything about this little hole in the wall Gem!

Over cooked. Nice waiter and service but the burger was not as expected. May return for another chance. But not any time soon
