One of my new favorite spots in New Orleans! The Library has so much to offer and truly lives up to its name. The decor is cozy and on theme, with comfy couches, chairs, and shelves lined with books. It is the perfect blend of trendy and casual. The cocktails are fantastic--expertly crafted by their talented bartenders--and the "Study Hall" happy hour deals are some of the best in town. Even better, these deals often run later than a typical happy hour. This is a great place to hang with friends, play games, or enjoy the fun atmosphere. While I haven't tried the food yet, I've noticed they do pop-ups with a variety of offerings like wings, empanadas, burgers, and tacos. It's definitely something I'd like to try on my next visit. Every time I've been, there's always something fun happening, whether it's a DJ, LSU or Saints game day, Harry Potter playing on the TV, or unique set-ups like a permanent jewelry table or book events.Highly recommend checking it out--it's definitely a gem!

I love the elegant vibe of this place. This is my first time having a French 75 I went down happy hour so it was only six dollars. The bartender was nice and the Long Island were strong but tasty. They also have a pool table in there which is really cool and it is really set up like a library with interesting books.

The $6 happy hour alone is a reason to slide! Stopped by for the Friday night study hall and enjoyed the espresso martini with cognac and French 75. The crawfish empanada was a 10/10, no notes. Around 9 when the live reggae band showed up, the foot traffic heavily increased. Lowkey think this may be a college spot but it was still a vibe. Great service, bartenders were super competent and helpful. Would love to visit for game day next season.

This place is so cute!! Great drinks and plenty of space. I love how far they take the "library" theme with the set up, books, menu etc. I went during Shark week, and they had live "island vibes" music, which was cool. The drinks were pretty strong and well made. They had fresh oysters too, but I didn't get any.

This place is adorable and perfect for a private party or fundraiser. My first visit was to attend a friend's all white themed celebration which was held in the private room upstairs. Loved the layout which includes several couches and a bar area with seating. The liquor package was confusing in that, I ordered a rum punch with no specific rum type and was charged for an Appleton Rum upgrade. Idk what is different about Appleton and didn't ask for it. ***shrugs .... The drink itself was $9.75 but items like Tito's & a few other items chosen by the host were free. From what I can tell, you're allowed to bring in food and select entertainment.

Whenever I ask people if they want to go to The Library with me, they don't expect a bar. I've only been here a few times and want to share my thoughts with y'all. Drinks: I usually get wine but ordered two cocktails the last time I went. The first, Gone With The Pimm, was way too sweet for my liking and tasted as though there was no alcohol whatsoever. I couldn't finish it. The second, Tequila Mockingbird, was delicious. It was with spicy tequila and packed a punch! Food: the pretzel bites are good but I don't recommend the cheese sauce - it is chunky and suspicious. The grilled cheese sounded much better than it tasted. The caprese salad, like everywhere you get it, was good. It was nice to have something refreshing after all the other carb-heavy menu items. Ambiance: it's hard to say what the noise level is usually like. The first time it was pleasant and not too loud. Last time I was there, I couldn't even hear the person next to me speak - WAY too noisy. In general, I'd give this place a chance. I'll definitely be back for the happy hour!

Drove across town just for them to say they're closed at 10:20 when their website says midnight. Love that.

This bar has a lot of potential but it has been so neglected, it smells terrible, the furniture is old and dusty, the couches ripped. Great location but they need to put more effort into the upkeep and cleanliness. It smells like a combination of cat litter and sewer. Could never eat here. Please come back to the clean, upscale bar it once was!
