The Custard Shop

As soon as you get out of your car the smell of sweet goodness hits you in the face. This was my first time visiting, and Chef Ahreal didn't disappoint. The menu is plant based for the most part, there are a few items that aren't though. The best dessert I've had this year can be found at this sweet shop, their Strawberry Supreme with Cake will blow you away! Homemade strawberry custard layered between strawberry cake, bananas, and marinated strawberries, topped with Jack's wafers and Biscoff cookies. This is a dessert you will not want to share. Chef Ahreal is the absolute sweetest, who can slay in the kitchen. Visit this spot for some AMAZING delicious treats.

Y'all. This was an experience. The place smelled amazing as soon as we walked in. We were greeted by Ms. Ahreal immediately, and her friendly nature pulled us right in. Everything on the menu looks fantastic and sound even better but I decided to get the original stuffed praline muffin with frozen custard to try some of everything.It. Was. Delicious! The banana bread muffin was moist and definitely would've been good alone. It was topped with crushed nilla wafers, homemade custard, caramel sauce , and homemade whipped cream. I had the frozen custard on the side. I INHALED that dessert! I would make a trip back just for that stuffed praline muffin. The best part is that it was prepared with love. Ms. Ahreal was so sweet and felt like family as she put the dish together.I highly recommend stopping here.
