Very very delicious. I love coming here every time I come to visit family, and the service is always very outstanding. One thing I'm just sad about is that there seems to be a recipe change to some foods I grew up on, which hurts the heart a bit. Overall though, very good. Love their banana splits with everything in me -- that never changes

Best place on the bayou for snacks like snowballs for the kids after school, but the menu is vast and reasonably priced. It is call ahead to pick up if you want a plate lunch or any of the items that will take a while to prepare. I always call ahead to pick up- my favorite place on the bayou for a juicy bacon cheeseburger with extra crispy fries. The beefy cheesy fries are fabulous- pro tip, request the beef(roast beef debris with fabulous gravy) and cheese sauce bye put in separate containers with extra crispy fries, so when you get it home, even if you only live 1/2 mile away, you can add the beef and cheese to a few fries at a time, the amount you choose to add and the fries stay crispy and if you get full, I can only eat 1/2 the order at a time, I can store in the fridge and heat the beef and cheese in the microwave in your own bowls- not sure styrofoam's good in the microwave... and your fries baked in the toaster oven to reheat to nice crispy fries that are not dried out. They do P.O.-boys. And since it is a snowball stand that also serves great burgers, Po-Boys, hot dogs, etc- the total variety does not seem it could be sold out of this walk up and order, call head for pick up (appreciated by everyone if you order something that takes time so the line for window orders is not backed up by someone waiting for an order that takes over 2 minutes to prepare- not cool people who do that. Being not able to climb stairs, I have to used the drive through, be respectful and call in your order ahead). for quick fixes like snowballs and the like . Oh the people who work there are fabulous Cajun Girls who work quickly and politely. Excellent service! Using a car is a $1 fee, so pay in cash and be generous when tipping! They deser it!

This is my favorite spot to get a sno ball and quick bite to eat. The wait can be quite long at times for meals however, it will be worth every bite.

Chill out my number one spot to eat, especially if I'm wanting roast beef poboy or the wicked roast beef Sunday. I tell all my friends and family to try it out everytime lunch comes around. Thanks so much to everyone for always showing my family and I great service.

Every once in a while I end up on Da Bayou when I visit my girlfriend. Yeah I realize my lady friend lives a freaking gazillion miles away. (That was kind of intentional at 1st, who knew my ass could commit....sorry off track) When I visit her it seems like good food options are kind of hard to come by. Well now I know where to get an excellent po-boy! This place reminds me of the time I spent living in the Midwest where every town has a "dairy". A dairy is kind of like a Dairy Queen except they usually don't have much of a name, serve soft serve ice cream, slushies, some pork tenderloin sandwiches, burgers, vanilla cokes, and the such. The Chill Out has the look of one of those dairies and also that of a snowball stand on steriods. The serve snowballs, ice cream and a ton of different variations of sundaes and such. They all have a pretty extensive menu of po-boys, soups, something called a roast beef sundae(I'm told it involved roast beef, gravy and mashed potatoes.) hot tamales, and other things as well.I was quite surprised at the flavor of the roast beef po-boy. It was pretty much all roast beef debris and a really good gravy. That is the way I like it. I would put this po-boy up against some of the best in Nola. Yeah it's Parkway and Bear's good! I also like the fact that they include pickles when you ask fot it dressed. Very few places do that these days. Great little gem on Da Bayou. It's only take-out which seems to be it's only downfall.

Their shrimp and fries are delicious. The popcorn shrimp were fried to perfection and the fries were crisp and tasty. They have a $1 charge to use a card. The traffic situation is crazy. They offer a drive thru but you still may have to get out if they have you pull up. Parking is terrible due to the limited amount of space they have.

This is a fun spot for a snack or sweet treat. We stop in about once a month for a snoball, chantilly ice cream, or chili cheese fries. Service is slow but it's expected.

My new favorite.....roast beef poboy. Yes, I eat the entire damn thing! Only three stars for the slow service....or no service at all at the "walk up" window. But it was worth it for this yummy, messy piece of heaven.

-only gave it one star bc it required me to choose at least one!!! Stopped there just less then an hr ago, waited in line with only one truck-one passenger- for 25 mins before someone came out the back door and asked if i was ready to order... Then when the truck in front of me moved -10 minutes later- got to the window and they handed me my snowball -which was melted-( okay i know its hot outside and it is ice so it will melt...however it shouldnt be flavored water when its handed to me....i buy snow balls all the time.. N never have i had one already melted before i leave the business... Also ordered two orders of the boneless chicken.-had to wait another 15 minutes for those (with an already melted snowball)...that was an epic fail!!! Hard as a rock... Literally threw them away didnt even eat them...tried one...it tasted fishy, either the grease was old, or they fry everything together...-have u not thought someone may be allergic to seafood?- anyway...i do not recommend this place to anyone.... I will NEVER visit this place again!???
