They do trivia, take home cup days, allow dog, have front and back patio, and plenty of TVs. It can get loud but the atmosphere is great when a big event or holiday comes. Giving it a 3 because I am not a fan of the noise level and they make you buy fries separate with a burger. I always have a reason so meet here but I never pick it as my first choice of bar.

I love going to The Bulldog for my Monday Night Football Watch Parties. Perfect scenery to catch a game in comfy sofas, enjoy great beer and some comfort food. Last week I tried the turkey burger and loved it. It was just what I needed. I added some fries to my order and it hit the spot. It's nothing too fancy but perfect when watching a game. I highly recommend stopping in at The Bulldog.

I had a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. The burger was very good, but the onion rings were very bland. They definitely need some seasoning in the onion ring batter or on the onions themselves. The bar is pretty impressive with a ton of beers on tap. The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful and knew their beers. Good place to get a good burger and beer!

I don't even want to think about how much money I have spent at the Bulldog in years past enjoying tasty beers and amazing food night after night after night, knowing my former go-to spot has slid way down the hill these past few years. i know during the Covid era, several beloved staff either left or were let go (knowing some of that story makes me sad/mad too), and I know the service industry has changed, but my last time in there was quite possibly my last time in there. I was ignored at the bar while trying to order. Legit, looked in the eye, and the bartender moved on to serve her friend who walked in about 5 minutes after me, and they continued their conversation a few minutes before getting my drink order. The beer tasted rather funky as well. I sucked it up rather than dealing with her at the bar again, but didn't finish my drink. I didn't order my own meal, but my friend gave me some of his. The menu is different and this sandwich tasted like it was pulled from the freezer at WalMart around the corner. It just wasn't what it used to be. Maybe if the owners lived in the same time zone, they would care about this establishment and chain a little more, but I guess they're making enough from it for now that it's not a concern to them. I do like the outdoor addition in the front, though it's not where I would choose to sit. The outdoor patio is always a good option. Everything is pretty clean most of the time. Maybe something will bring me back to try it again, but with so many great places added to BR over the past five years or so, Bulldog has taken a backseat in my life.

An after work go to place for me! Great beer selection and on Wednesdays you can take your pint glass home with you. I also love that this bar allows you to bring in your dogs!Almost every time I come here I end up sitting outside. The patio is great and has lots of space, so you aren't on top of the table next to you. It's a very 'chill' vibe here with space heaters and a fireplace set up too. I got the chips and queso this time, and it was ok. I wish the queso was filled to the top of the bowl, and the chips were stale, but it was still somehow good! I like how they have a kitchen window, and a full menu of so many options!

The '4 cheese' grilled cheese is just cheddar(menu says Fontina, goat, cheddar and Parmesan) on white bread NOT sour dough. Highly disappointed. The works burger was a frozen patty with microwave bacon. Do not recommend. Only reason I'm giving it two stars is the very large tap list.

This has been my favorite spot so far on our trip to Baton Rouge. Coleman took GREAT care of us during our visit to the The Bulldog! He made me one of the best margs I've ever had! They also have a huge beer selection. The food is pretty standard bar food which was exactly what we were looking for. The Amber Fries were our favorite. Highly recommend!

One of the best places to drink and watch the games in all of Baton Rouge!! Great happy hour and quality food selection. Lots of beer on tap and bar tenders are friendly and attentive!! Cool place you can even bring your dog to hang out.

When ordering food we were not greeted with friendly service. He seemed like he did not want to be there and got mad when asked where our food was because someone else took our order when we were never texted that it was ready. Will not order food from them again because he had no personality. Drinks were good and atmosphere was great as well.

The place looks really nice but I was very unhappy with what we got. We ordered the wing combo package which comes with "any fries you want" according to the menu so I asked for cheese fries and was charged an additional order of loaded cheese fries in addition to the combo. The wings were the smallest skimpy wings I've ever seen. My thumb was bigger than the drumsticks and I have small hands! The bartender was nice but didn't behave as such while doing his job. He poured the bare minimum. He measured every pour and gave less than the minimum. The loaded fries and Spinach Artichoke dip were decent although the chips to dip ratio was way off. We found this place passing thru Batom rouge and were debating between here and Phil's seafood, we should have chosen Phil's.
