The Bayou Affect

Came in for restaurant week to give this place a try. Got there during the lunch rush and waited 45 min for our order, so definitely phone your order in if it's during the lunch rush. The place is small with only about 4 tables so we took ours to go. The food was pretty great. We had the crawfish pasta with lamb chops. The chops were pretty good but the sweet sauce made them much better. The pasta was a hit. It came with standard boudin balls and the fried pound cake dessert was a great finish. This was plenty of food for two people. It's a bit out of the way but worth a trip.

Wednesday Special.Seafood Potato and Mango Habanero wings.The food was delicious and the service was great.The ambiance is a good place and clean.

We waited inside for our food. The wait wasn't horrible , but wasn't short either. Tbh, it was a uncomfortably, warm inside the place so we chose to eat in the car... (not sure what's going on with the air, but my boyfriend had visited before & said it was the same then.) The service was ok, just a simple order & wait while music was playing. Most of the food was straight and I'd try it again. My boyfriend ordered the lamb chops with Mac & cheese. I ordered salmon & seafood eggrolls. My biggest complaint was that they charred my salmon too much as you can see in the photos. It definitely ruined the taste.

This place was recommended by (2) different people and it was delicious!! Well seasoned and quick service.

This place is HIGHLY recommended. Everything was very good. Service was excellent and our food came in less than 20 minutes. The staff were very friendly. The music they played in the restaurant was a nice R&B touch. I will definitely be coming back.

The shrimp platter was great.The Philly egg rolls & fried catfish were amazing.The pasta was really good but it needed a little salt. The wings were also good and made up for the lack of salt, but the bigger the wing the longer it takes to cook. The biggest wing in my batch was raw when I bit into it. The restaurant also had really good service and a nice dining area if you wanted to sit inside.

Food was AMAZING!! A real hole in the wall but really tasty food! the lamb chops were seasoned to perfection and generous portion! this is why i support small local businesses! would recommend calling in and placing your order as it takes 30-45 mins and their restaurant is small with few chairs and tables. 10/10 a rare find for sure

Mom and I went today. She actually liked the lamb and she is extremely picky. She has never eaten lamb before! I liked everything except the crescent roll so that's a thumbs up from me. Will be back.

serve was slow and my order was all wrong. I wanted a burger with no cheese but dressed. Yet I was given a cheese burger with salty shrimp

Everything I have eaten here has been delicious. The fried Catfish topped with crawfish pasta is my favorite
