Heather greeted us with a smile on her face. She seated us immediately and took our drink orders right away. Another waitress, Angel, came and took our order. Food came in an orderly fashion. We started with the boudin egg rolls and they were amazing. They are not on the regular menu but is a special. If they have them don't pass them up. I had a shrimp poboy and it was delicious made with Leidenheimer bread. Comes with French fries that are just like McDonalds. Hubby had the Jumping Jack burger and it was homemade. So juicy and tasted flame broiled. We will definitely be back!

Love the potato skins! The salads are all great. Burgers are very tasty and Mondays red beans are an easy Monday meal. Employees very friendly and helpful.

The food was not on point. It appears the chefs/cooks that were there when it was Perrins are no longer there. I ordered a burger medium rare, and it came out and could barely eat it. My companion ordered a club sandwich, and the bread was obviously stale. I love the location service and ambiance. I hope the food quality improves soon.

i was reading a blog and they mentioned The 70123 so looked at the menu and decided to check it out. we went for lunch and the prices were midrange but the portion size was huge - so while the salad was $14 it was enough for 2-3 people. we started with the stuffed mushrooms which were good and filling and then got the grilled shrimp remoloude wrap, the shrimp poboy, the hamburger and the fiesta salad. each item was good with enough flavor and large portion. it was good new orleans style foodthe service was also good so would definitely recommend this place

Let me tell you about this place!! I looked high and low for a place to have my daughter's bridal shower, but everywhere was too expensive for my secretary salary. We happened to pop into The 70123 for lunch one day, and I noticed the empty room with tables, and I asked if they rented it. I was told I could have it as long as they catered it, I booked the shower right away. The room is cute, almost sun roomish looking. I sat down with Shann and planned the menu. She said yes to the must-have mimosa bar and let me show up super early the day of to set up and decorate. The food looked and tasted spectacular. She and her staff provided a service that was better than some parties I've been to at 4-star restaurants. They have a customer for life!

Grabbed a to go order a few days ago and have thought about the buffalo chicken wrap every single day since. It was so delicious and hot, and my fries were so well seasoned.I will be back and SOON!

What a hidden gem. Went there to meet friends and it was a sheer delight. Service was excellent and the food was just as good. A friend of mine had the meatballs and spaghetti and it was enormous said it was delicious. I ordered the Boudreaux's wrap. Wow! Interesting combination. Fried chicken tenders, dirty rice, red beans and chipotle ranch all in a wrap with French fries. Really really good. I'll say it can be a little sloppy l, like roast beef poboy but it was delicious. I plan on returning soon to try other dishes.

I have been wanting to try this new neighborhood spot, and it did not disappoint! Started with the roasted cauliflower soup, which was so good I forgot to take a picture. I had the fried shrimp - gigantic and perfectly cooked. The mac and cheese was incredible! My mom had the roast beef poboy and the crispiest fries. We shared the bread pudding, which, in my opinion, cannot be missed! I will definitely be visiting again soon!!

I eat out a lot, this place was the worst! Not kidding. We went with a large group for lunch...I ordered a wrap with chicken....I did not realize at this restaurant their version of a wrap is lettuce and some cheese, who sells a wrap like that?? Any other restaurant sells a wrap with a protein included....so their wrap with a few small chunks of chicken with tax was almost $20.00....I can go to Acropolis on Veterans and get a delicious chicken wrap for $10.95....which is delicious. A couple of others ordered the hamburger, it was so overcooked, they will not go back, I for sure will Never go back to this Jip joint.....and by the way....I did not pick this place and when you go to a restaurant for lunch and every table is empty, that should be a big warning sign....walk away.

This was my first time going to this neighborhood restaurant. We were celebrating my birthday. We got potato skins and spinach and artichoke dip for our apps. Both came out bubbling hot and were delicious. My son got the crabby patty and pasta, DIL got a salad, daughter got the grilled shrimp wrap and I got a club sandwich. Two of us got the bread pudding for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were generous.Service was exceptional. Our server was efficient and friendly. Special requests were all received as ordered, drinks were refilled as needed and dirty dishes were removed promptly. We all enjoyed our dining experience and are looking forward to returning.
