Great service with a waterfront view, elevated dining experience. We enjoyed everything from apps to dessert. Just an FYI, the cinnamon roll is NOT a pastry, it is pork belly rolled into the shape of a cinnamon roll - very tender and really good flavor!

This is absolutely the number one restaurant in the state of Louisiana bar none. It is not only beautiful situated on the picture to the river in downtown Madisonville. It provides some Michelin quality food that cannot be compared to in New Orleans. It is superior. Especially the pork belly with the homemade steak sauce on top it's amazing.

Easter brunch was amazing!Had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful waterfront restaurant for Easter Sunday and the 3 course meal was delightful. They even had the Easter bunny walking around taking pics. Highly recommend

My wife and I decided to stop in for a couple glasses of wine and some appetizers. We had the Prime Beef Carpaccio & Crispy Oysters, it was delicious. They bring out a piece of Texas toast, best bread I've ever had. I decided to get a steak because I'm always hungry, I went with the 6oz Filet and creamed spinach. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The bar tender was very knowledgeable and great to talk too. The view of the river at dusk topped it off.

Went to Sunday brunch with my friends~Was delightful! Food was excellent. Ambiance was wonderful. I felt like a princess. You should definitely treat yourself to this when wanting to splurge a bit.

Was such an amazing experience the staff was wonderful and the windows allowed for a great view of the water and just the whole atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect. The food was amazing the jumbo lump crab cake is a must it was the best crab cake I have ever had I promise you will not regret getting it! Oyster were really great as well. Next we split Caesar Salad it was good a little heavy on the anchovies in my opinion still ate and enjoyed it. For our entrees I got the 6oz filet with the froi gras truffle butter and enjoyed every bite, my boyfriend had the ribeye with the bone marrow butter. We also got the other three sauces and the hollandaise was amazing. We got a couple sides... the tchefunctes potatoes, roasted cauliflower and caramelized onions and mushrooms. All of which were good. Probably won't recommend the cauliflower though not a fan had a weird sauce/texture and I love cauliflower however something was off. Overall everything was delicious and the staff and ambiance of the restaurant was amazing we will definitely be back! Oh I almost forgot YOU HAVE TO GET THE WARM STICKY PRALINE CAKE!!! It's scrumdiddlyumptious!!! Please whatever you do get the cake even if you think your entirely too full I promise you have room and have to try it!!

Whoa! We have eaten here on a couple of occasions, but tonight was their Italian Dinner! Very authentic and so good. What a jewel you people in Madisonville have on your hands!

Food and service were good, I'd come back again. My husband and I went for our anniversary and we shared the Dry aged steak, it was ok. We came to conclusion that we were not dry aged steak people. It's an acquired taste. As for the other things we ordered it was all delicious!

What a great restaurant. Dinner last night. Moved back to the area last year after being away for 6 years. This was our first visit to the renovated Friends. The food was off the charts. We had onion soup, steaks, lasagna bolognese, creamed spinach, and BBQ shrimp. All were some of the best I have had. Service was good, very knowledgeable waiter but it was a little slow for us. The price was definitely on the high side but if the food is worth it I don't mine paying top dollar. So, if you have time for a 3 hour dinner, good service and food, this is number one on my list on the Northshore now. Can't beat the view either!!

Very nice setting. Food was good not great. Waiter was not really interested in our table. Hard to order. Disappointed in beer choices. But will try again
