Not sure if the young lady hadn't had her espresso yet or what, but she basically ignored us for a few minutes and then hardly said a few words. I tipped her pretty well, so hopefully that put a smile on her face. We all have a bad day, maybe she was having a bad morning?I know that business has been down due to the tragedy on January1st, but I'm here to help bring in the economy.I purchased the box and an additional macaron.They're absolutely delicious and worth the price. I ate on salted caramel which melted in my mouth. Felt like it was just made early in the morning. If anyone is complaining at the price, you pay for what you get. I tried them all, including ones straight from Paris.They're delicious.

We tried 2 separate desserts and thought they were delicious. They are pricy but it seemed reasonable for a specialty shop like this. In the end we really enjoyed it, however, due to the price I'm not sure if we would return. For that reason I would give it 4/5 stars

Very serene place to escape the cold for a macron and cup of coffee. Had hoped to get a king cake but with the weather that had been impossible but to my surprise Sucre had a beautiful macron in Madri Grai colors called king cake. It was delicious !!! Bakery was crowded but with many shops in the quarter closed this was a delightful treated. Great place to relax and enjoy a Macron.

One of my favorite places to visit in NOLA! Sucre always has amazing sweet treats, excellent coffee drinks, and exquisite service. On our most recent visit, T made us feel like we were the most important people to walk into the shop that day, answering our questions and being all around lovely.

You certainly have your selection of macaroons while in the French Quarter, but this is a must stop spot! The sugar glitters as your taste, buds dance to the delights of sweet treats! The ladies behind the counter are eager to serve you whatever coffee or treat to accompany, your caffeine journey desires. Decorated to the tea I love the crisp and clean atmosphere this quaint little shop has to offer! If you're an early riser, they open at 8 AM so coffee here for breakfast might not work for you, however, they are open until 11 PM so this will work as an after dinner treat spot!

I recently came across this location while walking to Jackson Square. I didn't know it opened! Service was great (as I expected from previous Sucré experiences) and one of the employees assisted me with a few suggestions. After trying a sample, I decided on the Toasted Almond gelato. I was early enough to see the gelato waves. This location is slightly smaller than the other one on Royal St and has limited seating (two benches). I'll definitely return to this location next time I'm in the mood for gelato or a dessert.
