I used to love coming to this spot, and last year it was one of my go-to spots. The food was great, and the portions were generous. But the last couple of times I've visited, it's really gone downhill. The most recent time was especially disappointing -- I ordered the three-meat plate, but it looked like I barely got two portions, maybe less. For the price, I expected much more. On top of that, the brisket, which used to be amazing, was dry and not tender. I'm hoping this was just a fluke, but it's definitely not what it used to be. I don't think I'll be back. Wasted too much money the last two times.

I can't say enough good things about the Hwy 59 location. The portion sizes are great for the price, and the sweet BBQ sauce is delicious! The meat is great and I haven't found it to be dry. Employees are efficient and kind consistently. It's a family favorite!! Pulled pork, Mac n cheese, and the fried pickles are awesome!!

We tried the Sticks on Hwy 59. The ribs were very good. Tender but not too soft. The brisket was okay but as tender as we usually like it. Potato salad and Mac n cheese were good, standard fare. The ribs were my favorite part. This location is in as all strip mall. Easy to get to. Cute decor. Limited seating (not a large space). Not fancy. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Ribs have a good bite, pull away without falling off the bone, with a sweet, slightly sticky rub (but not overpowering - the meat still has good flavor). Brisket is good and tender - nice smoky flavor. Neither the ribs nor brisket need sauce, but the Carolina vinegar sauce is very good!! Use it sparingly to avoid overpowering the meat. Potato salad and coleslaw are good, but not outstanding. Coleslaw dressed nicely without being soupy. Both are average with no pronounced flavors. Add some Carolina vinegar sauce to the potato salad!!Generous portions all around - you'll probably need a to-go box. Service was okay - friendly people, but a bit distracted by their phones and gossip time (probably not an issue when the place is busy)

I got brisket...french fries and collard greens... OMG..... can't Wait to go back!!!So much food!!I was able to have brisket tacos the next day!!french fries were Actually Special.... NOT just boring old potatoes...And the collar greens were absolutely Delicious!!Do yourself a Big Favor.....GO!!

Great little hole in the wall BBQ. Family run- the 10 year old young lady who seated us and took our order was utterly charming. I was disappointed that they had run out of ribs, but the chicken, sliced brisket and pulled pork were delicious. (Texas style BBQ.) Good cheesy macaroni, baked beans and collard greens both tasty. Coleslaw a little dry for my taste. Reasonably priced. We'll be back.
