Love love love. Definitely community deli, the food quality unreal. The everything bagel is great they are very generous with the cream cheese. Ordered a fresh orange juice, and wonderful. And the BLT was made with the most delicious bread I have ever tasted and crispy bacon. Would recommend over and over. Next time will come and taste their variety of beers, they have several fridges with a wide section for all tastes.

Stein's Market and Deli is a great little deli on Magazine Street. My wife and I were recently here for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the Taylor Pork Roll on sesame seed, and she had a bagel with Honey Nut Cream Cheese. Both were very good. I also had a coffee, which is sold upfront by a woman not affiliated with Stein's. The coffee was excellent!Service was friendly and professional. I can't wait for my next visit!

Steins is one of those special places that you always turn to when you need some good, solid, awesome food. Every sandwich I've had from them is always delicious and well prepared. Im convinced that the matzo ball soup possesses true healing powers. If you have a hangover, it'll absolutely put you right. You can't go wrong ordering from Steins. The store itself is packed with all sorts of northern fare, bagels, etc, and a few tables for dining in. It's usually very busy so you may have to wait for a place to sit. I recommend going there to order instead of using Uber or DD.

Seven months since my last review, and Stein's Market and Deli, on Magazine Street, is still my go-to for whatever Deli Delights you can imagine. // As always, a line, so l recommend ordering ahead. // Today's table ordered the Rachel ($13.99 - hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut on marbled rye with Russian dressing) and the Sam ($13.99) (it's a Rachel without the sauerkraut). All were Oh So Darn Good, but the Rachel is my personal favorite. As always, the hard-working Sandwich Artists behind the counter were fun, engaging, courteous and quick. I could not be happier with the service. There are a few tables out side, and there are community tables inside, perpetually crowded and a great place to chat up the visitors. Also, remember the HUGE variety of beer (in the hundreds!) that is available at Stein's, plus beer classes, and private events. (I can see where I'm going, next birthday celebration :) Stein's Market and Deli, Magazine Street - Five-Well-Earned-Stars-l'd-Make-It-TEN-If-I-Could!

Location and food were great. Loved the focaccia with the turkey panini. Nice spot to stop during a walk through the garden district during my weekend visit to NOLA. Will be on my list if I'm ever back in NOLA.

Love Stein's! If your look for fresh food and a NYC deli style sandwich, this is your place to go. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was great. The owner of Stein's was also featured in a Nola season of Queer Eye and he's so nice and really looks out for both his employees and his customers. Food is great and also had really quick service.

This place was great. They had a long line when we got there, but they were fast, efficient, and got it done. Love the decor it's all over the place nerdy stuff, funny stuff, business merch. There's not many tables inside to sit, but they have some long ones where you can sit next to someone and start up a conversation. The food was so good. I got the Rachel. It was cheesy and melty and all the goodness. Got a side of slaw, which I wish was a little more saucy but needed to get some veggies in anyway. We also got gazpacho to go, which we didn't order at first after they told us they had some. Then while we were eating was like hmm let's get some. It was out of this world. I believe they only do it for a short period of time during the summer so do not skip on that.

I'm sad that it took me this long to make it to Stein's Deli! We stopped by Friday around 11:30 and the line was long but moved pretty quickly. We were soon up front with the owner telling us the specials and I ended up getting the Cuban sandwich special with a sour pickle. As soon as I sat down I was feeling FOMO over not ordering some Gazpacho which was also on special, so I got back in line and ordered a large container to go. Food was ready quickly and was delicious! The Cuban sandwich is not pressed which I wasn't expecting but the bread was soft and flakey. Plenty of meat, melty cheese, mustard and pickles. My SO got a pastrami sandwich which I liked but I wasn't a fan of the coleslaw he got as a side. I found it a little dry.Fast forward to that night we each had a big bowl of the gazpacho and I can see why the regulars were telling me good job at ordering it when they saw it sitting on the table. It was FANTASTIC! I love a good gazpacho and this was probably the best I've ever had. If it's available when you go, it's a must have!

This is my favorite lunch spot in town. Very casual but VERY good. Overall the workers remember me and always make me feel welcome (of course we all have our days!) Yesterday, I took my mom for the first time and she LOVED it. We split the turkey panini and some potato salad (my favorites). I love the full sour pickles that come with your sandwhich too! Make sure to get your drinks / chips before getting in line toorder. Also, I highly recommend the cookies. Very limited seating so be prepared to wait or sit next to someone you don't know! I've never had a bad experience here.
