Found this place last minute on the hunt for crawfish. We're new to the area and had a full day of moving. The day got away from us so we decided to order and pick up to bring home, we called 20 minutes before close and they were happy to help when I told them it would be a 10-15 minute drive for me to get there. They told me what they had left and that we'd be fine to head that way. I don't remember any furniture inside just a large open space to wait in line. There were several cars in the parking and people coming and going - a good sign! There were a few young, college-age kids behind the counter working and all were kind and helpful.

The food was amazing, I tried their crawfish for the first time ever and it was very flavorful and seasoned to perfection. The workers were very quick with our order and the service was very amazing. We didn't have to wait for too long to receive exactly what we wanted. The general ambiance wasn't that great because it's just a line and there's no where to really sit but overall, I enjoyed my experience and I'm glade I tried their food.

Honestly my go to. The service is fast and friendly. The boiled crawfish is great. Not to mention the corn, potatoes, and boiled eggs! We also buy from these guys when we boil our own. 10 plus times. Never disappoint

Had a friend pick up some seafood here because I heard it was bomb. While this season, the only thing that is in at the moment are crabs, it was really delicious!All the crabs were full of meat, and very well seasoned, and not overly salty like many places!I cannot wait till crawfish season is back in, I am ready to devour some of their crawfish!

So the food is amazing , literally all of it . However th3 workers are a little rude , not all of them but mainly the ones that work the front .

I've been to this spot probably 6ish times now because it's a stone's throw from my house. I've tried other places, but nowhere has really stacked up to Southern Boilers' consistent quality and good prices. They get me the best price for crawfish while still making sure they aren't getting such cheap crawfish that they're bad. They also have the #1 best boiled potatoes ever. Idk what they do!!! They're just special. They also have tons of space for social distancing and require mask wearing which is rare for crawfish spots. I'm so lucky to live by them!

First time after I heard so many great things about this place. I ordered the crawfish, potatoes, eggs, and garlic butter shrimp. The eggs were good! Every thing else I didn't like because it was all sweet. It like they mix sugar in the water they are boiling the food. Its different but if it's not spicy i don't want it. The customer service was nice! They explained everything and they let you know the crawfish was frozen. I would like to try their poboys if I visit again

Amazing food, service and overall experience. Highly recommend! Owner was extremely nice and provided good tips for first time customers. Overall, I was def happy with service.

This is the go to spot when you're looking to fill your taste for seafood. Got crabs because crawfish were not in yet and they were perfect. Crabs were seasoned very well and were full of meat. Pair your seafood option with corn, potatoes and this is something new but boiled eggs! Not bad! I thought it would be strange but it was quite tasty. They also have an array of fried seafood plates and chicken. I was able to try the fried catfish with the fried rice and it was ok. I think boiled seafood is where this place shines though. Can not wait to come back and try their shrimp and crawfish. If it's anything like the crabs, it's bound to be GOOD! This place is one of the best in the surrounding area. I would recommend anyone who's craving for seafood to come here because you'll be coming back again and again.

Crawfish. CRAWFISH. CRAW-FISH. They were a mouth-gasm. Seasoned well with enough spice. If they were to increase the spice level that wouldn't be an issue. The boiled shrimp, corn & potatoes were seasoned well too. The building is in an old Wendys so it may be a little hard to spot. It's a clean & open place with a few tables of you want to eat in. The service was great even though they were busy. I think this is my new spot for crawfish in Baton Rouge.
