I saw ads for this spot on Facebook and the photos of the food looked so good! Our friends also recommended this spot. It's pretty close seating but all good - there were only two of us. I ordered the Sinkhole Omelette which basically has everything in it! My husband ordered the Cat 5 Burrito. Both were good. We ate everything. Omelette was stuffed with veggies, meat and cheese and served with a biscuit. The burrito was served with a sauce to dip and was pretty decent. Server was friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back and try other items.

Super cute and hipster diner! The place was pretty packed when I walked in, and there was a bit of a wait. Not for a table, but mostly just waiting for a hostess to greet me. Totally understandable since they were hustling and doing double duty. Once I grabbed a seat at the counter, everything flowed smoothly. The vibe is great, the service is friendly despite the busy crowd, and the menu is full of tasty options. Definitely a solid spot to grab a bite if you don't mind a little hustle and bustle! Would absolutely come back.

I was on the hunt for sweet potato pancakes one Saturday and we found this via search feature. I have heard people talk about Slim Goodies several times and passed by it even more times but never stopped in. This craving didn't lead me wrong. The pancakes were HUGE and tasty. Very authentic diner feel. I can't remember what else we ordered but everything was good. We will definitely be returning.

The fries were brought out cold, the hamburger was not seasoned and raw. The service was terrible and our waiter smelled like weed. The restaurant was dirty especially on the bar area. It's was a horrible experience and will not be back. To many restaurants in New Orleans with better food and service.

I did take out so not a sit down review. If you want a place with all day breakfast, I would recommend. It wasn't a long wait. The ettoufee was a little spicy but not nasty. Very good consistency. The biscuit was a good consistency. Fresh and buttery. The French toast was to die for! If you have a bad sweet tooth then you would like the French toast. Overall, I would make this a go to spot

I love Slim Goodies! Very relaxed vibe. Friendly wait staff. Good cooks! I especially like the new alligator painted on the bench in front. My favorite breakfast is the Category 5 burrito with the fried plantains, but all the breakfasts are good. My husband likes Repopulation#1.

I loved the vibe in this diner and my waitress was great. The food was good, but it could have been a but warmer. I had the etouffee omelette and sweet potato waffle. I could see this being a good go to breakfast spot.
