I have been to Beirut and tons of Lebanese restaurants in U.S. This is hands down one of the best. Simple menu but everything is super legitimate and extraordinarily fresh. I recommend this restaurant without reservation. Please ignore any type of negative comments . Been here twenty times and never any issues.

We LOVE this restaurant so much, we have made a regular habit of eating there at least once weekly! I love their chicken shawarma and my husband rotates eating fried shrimp, shrimp kabobs, and gyros. The service is exceptional!! We HIGHLY recommend it!

Lettuce for the salad I ordered was wilted and a little soggy, like it had been mixed with the dressing for a while. The chicken shawarma was a little dry. Service was very basic. Since this is a small lunch cafe, the ambiance is appropriate.

Awful Cold chicken shawarma ( room temp at best). The chicken is drier than the Sahara Desert!!Absolutely no olive oil on the wee amount of hummus on your plate. The rice pilaf is a joke!Plain rice with one single green pea!!!!The salad was pure vinegar it was so sour sour I almost puked!!

I've passed this Serop's so many times but I've never tried this location but I'm so so glad that I decided to yesterday. I ordered the combination platter which came with chicken schwarama, gyro, hummus, rice, and salad for about $18. At first I felt as though that was pretty pricy for a combination platter, but after trying it, I can say that it's definitely worth it. The amount they gave me filled me up and it was some of the best I've had. I especially loved their chicken schwarama which might be some of my favorite I've ever tried! The dressing on their salad was garlicy but not overpowering like some places make it. The food was delicious and our waitress was super nice and attentive, but one of my favorite parts about this place were the owners. From sitting at the tables at the restaurant, you can see the owners preparing the food. They greeted people as they walked in, talked to customers, and thanked us for coming in. This was the first time I've ever been to this location, and I could tell that the restaurant was filled with regulars. Even if you have never been there, they were super nice and acted like they've known you forever. Many people came in for to-go orders and stopped to talk to the owners while they cooked because they knew them as regulars. I love when places are so personable and family-oriented. I can tell this is a big reason why so many people have chosen to go back time and time again, which is another reason I cannot wait to go back

I like serops, I really do. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the few times they forgot my dressing for my chicken shawarma salad. I'm sorry, but I can't eat a salad without dressing. Whenever I do get the dressing though, it's fantastic. I also like how fast they are with giving you your food. The prices are fair and the food is always fresh. I just recommend checking your food before you leave.Other than that, I highly recommend eating here. The food is indeed delicious!

We eat here at least once a week for lunch, it is excellent. The absolute best chicken shawarma salad! Yum! The wait staff is excellent and the owners are super nice. One of my top 3 places to eat in Baton Rouge.

The food here is really a great old Baton Rouge staple. It's consistently tasty, the service is good, usually pretty fast. I've had issues in the past with the particular meal I usually order being overcooked to my preference but the steak kebabs are tasty and tender even though they are cooked more than I prefer. They always ask how I want it cooked , my reply is always medium rare and it's always served well done. I've come to expect that because it's still the tastiest thing I think on the menu.I went back there recently for lunch , it comes with salad , rice and hummus, so I usually go in for the entire salad first to make room on the plate to cut the steak and veggies into bite size pieces. At the bottom of the salad I found a hair on the plate under the rest of the food which is immediately off putting. I told the waitress and I was so grossed out that I was finished, she brought me the check for the drink and appetizer and I left. I realize things happen but this is the second instance where I've been unhappy and no one even bothered to apologize. I guess that's a little too much to ask?

We had the fried halloumi appetizer and I had a falafel sandwich. App was fine. Sandwich was good. The feta cheese salad that came with the sandwich wasn't very good. The hummus was delicious. Prices seemed a little high ($7.95 for the app and $9.50 for the sandwich)The place is really small and loud. I didn't like the atmosphere at all. Don't think the food was impressive enough to draw me back.
